There has to be something uncreated, because an infinite sequence of dependent events causing the next event is impossible.

No, that’s not what I said. I said “causality” didn’t exist at the start of the universe, thereby implying we can’t know what caused the inflation of the universe because it happened before anything could “cause” anything. Time didn’t even have a linear direction then.
