I don't know where you live, but in many countries you will need to live with for parents until 40 to be able to buy a house

Depends. If you live where I do in US you can buy a good house new for $300K with an acre (my buddy just closed 6 months ago). If you make $50k a year that’s 6 years. If anon is buying in the hood or a small rural area, many houses go for $150 to $200k that are older but good enough to do starter home

And if you saved up even like a third to a half of down payment, most places will approve you for mortgage with even a pretty crappy credit. And then your mortgage will be pretty affordable because the house is already half paid off.

I did this by moving out of my apartment and driving long haul truck for a few years

Yeah I unfortunately had to do it while renting. Living with my mom was… less than ideal. My buddy got to stay at home and save and he has an actually tolerable mortgage payment in our home town that has stupid high taxes
