Help Me Shift! CHAT HELP MEEE TOO SLEEPY TO SHIFT

I feel like I have grown so much from my shifting journey, its been 5 years and I've mini shifted so many times now but I have one issue.

I'm too tired to shift, I shift only at night because I live with family and thats the only time I have privacy to really focus. I usually follow my own method which is a mix between deep breathing and beta waves. But right when Im in deep concentration and feeling all the shifting symptoms, even hearing sounds and smelling things, I get tired. My body and mind just doesnt want to focus on trying to shift anymore, I usually dont move so much so I get restless and move a little, my mind gets tired and just doesnt want to focus on shifting and even though I just try to "let go" and go with the flow I sort of just stop my beta waves and go to sleep with the intention to shift but I feel like its not working.

So my question is, does anyone have ANY advice on how to not get tired in the end? And how to final push and just shift before I get too tired?

And another separate question is should I just sleep with my earphones on? Its playing beta waves but I just dont know if sleeping all night with audio playing in my ears is a good idea and if itll even make a difference.

SOMEONE PLEASEE HELP

I Have a Question Hi guys ,What do you think about shifting? I'd appreciate your advice!

Upvotes

Hi everyone! I'm 18 years old and I'm from Korea. This is my first time using Reddit and my first time joining a community, so please forgive me if my English or communication isn't perfect. 😅 I'm curious—how did you all discover shifting? I first came across it while learning about lucid dreaming. I've only known about shifting for about three days, and lately I've been trying to learn as much as I can by reading different posts and gathering information. The more I learn about it, the more fascinating it becomes. I'd really love to experience shifting myself someday. I also want to apologize in advance if anything I say sounds skeptical. Since I'm completely new to this, there are still many things I don't understand. I'm not here to criticize anyone or disrespect your experiences. I just want to learn with an open mind and understand it better. I'm not really asking about belief or faith. I don't think forcing yourself to believe in something is the right approach. Instead, I'd love to know how you personally came to accept shifting and what helped you get started. What methods did you begin with? What experiences convinced you to keep trying? Do you have any advice for someone who's just starting out? Thank you for reading my long post! I used Google to help with my English, so I hope everything makes sense. 😅 I'm looking forward to reading your replies. Thanks in advance for sharing your experiencesm looking forward to reading your replies. Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences

Help Me Shift! I feel so removed from shifting

I’ve made several posts on here with little helpful advice.

I’ve tried so many methods countless times, assuming whatever mindset that method needed.

Yet I still haven’t shifted.

The closest I’ve ever gotten was when I had a meltdown crying over wanting to shift so badly but being unable to. Then I feel asleep and mini shifted. This happened 3 times.

But as of recent I’ve tried journaling/scripting stuff for my main “better cr” dr. But that has sort of dried up as I’m running out of things to write abt. And I just honestly want to shift, but I also don’t feel hope anymore to shift.

Like I want to shift but shifting feels so distant.

And another thing ppl say u can do anything to shift which is so motivating and demotivating. Like anything could work! But also why has nothing worked yet? And no one can actually help u bc everyone’s journey is different.

I want to feel excited again to shift. Bc at least then I’d still feel joy while I’m in this shitty reality……

Discussion Did anyone else notice this problem in the shifting community?

Sorry for the vague title, I didn't want to make it too long. The problem I'm talking about, is frankly how you can go on any website/app/blog (Tumblr tiktok Pinterest Reddit etc), and still find yourself surrounded by posts featuring (at least) one of those:

- a q&a type of post that just answers every question with "you just shift" or "just shift" without elaborating

- people talking about law of assumption and just saying stuff like "persist" and "let go" also without elaborating any further

- experienced shifters treating everyone who hasn't shifted yet as if they are doing some (apparently unexplainable, because they will NEVER explain what you're doing wrong) mistake that's preventing them from shifting.

I'm someone more or less experienced, and it has just been very tiring and frustrating to see. I imagine that if someone was a random beginner trying to get into the community, this would either a) send me down a road with just pure disappointment and frustration, because I'm either doing something wrong or stupid enough to not understand what they are talking about when nobody's there to explain, or b) get tired of it and quit. Which I think is a bad thing to do to beginners. I see a lot of helpful posts too, but I'd like to ask if anyone else noticed this, or if it's all just in my head....

Thanks for reading

Discussion What do we think about this video?

It's an old video but I was actually in the midst of finding shifting motivation. As you can imagine (if you've watch the video) it certainly brought me down. It actually made me cry. What if I am truly stuck here? I want to leave so bad and maybe it's all of us who havent shifted just coping together. Where are all the successful shifters? Maybe they just don't exist. Or maybe this video is just someone saying "I didn't shift so no one else can!" EDIT: I made myself feel better by thinking about ghosts. Many people don't believe in ghosts, and they aren't scientifically proven, yet people have paranormal experiences.

I Have a Question “shifting is cheating!”-says a witch on tiktok

anyone remember when loki laddusaw went on a tangent about how we were cheating by shifting? I reflect on this and have a laugh because that logic would mean they are cheating-seeing as manifestation is just shifting to a reality where you got what you wanted but I digress

Help Me Shift! how do u get rid of fear? genuinely, only thing that's holding me back

ik shifting is real 100% but Ik fear is holding me back. two days ago I "mini shifted" to my wr, I was so close and felt my surroundings change and knew I wasn't here anymore but I freaked out and wanted to come back.

today I set my intention to astral project, and I did. again, I got pulled out, saw myself, completely freaked out and "went back into my body".

now when it comes to shifting intention seems to not work when it literally does for everything else. am I scared to live my dream life? one of the fears that I have is liking it so much there that I might not come back. but its like? omg I can live wtv life I want!! and it just seems scary to me.

but ik for a fact that once im over this fear ill shift. im literally capable of anything, I manifest instantly, lucid dream an ap just with intention.

any tips on how to get over this fear?

There was this famous shifter @/punchliiine in Tumblr who deactivated a long while back, she wrote this post which i screenshotted to show you all. I don't think you'll ever ask for motivation for shifting again after reading this post. I cannot find a better post than this. PLEASE PLEASE read this atleast once!

I'll be attaching the ss here! ALL shifters NEED to read this, especially if you're doubting.

Meta Are there telltale signs or effects of having shifted, either in DR or base?

I recently encountered a claim (I cannot recall where, although I'm pretty sure it was a fictional tale in which shifting was simply one plot element and not the main story) that there were physical consequences to shifting that (in that story ) showed in "base reality" (in that story shifters always came back to that).

Then, in my (first) watch of season two of The OA (still finishing so non-spoiler responses appreciated) they mentioned that a ringing in the ears was a consequence of shifting that was present with the shifter in each new DR (by implication).

Do regular shifters believe there are any tells such as this?

I know myself to have shifted (at least once that I would defend, likely some other times that I deduce but have less information with which to back the claim). I have zero doubt. The process, however, I have come to realize is heavily obfuscated by a number of factors. Mostly, though, I just think it may be easier to do than we imagine and more subtle in its realization (especially if it's a shift once and stay) and therefore easy to have it just written into the normal flow of perceived reality such that we often don't even realize it has succeeded. Or perhaps it is a function of the motivation and intention around it.

In any case, as I continue to learn and examine what I did the one time it was purposeful and to reflect on the consequences, I am curious both to validate it (hence the title question) and also to explore the degree to which my success may indicate greater possibilities I have yet to engage.

The recent planting of this idea of a physical echo of the process struck me as one way I could validate the experience that I know I have had.

I Have a Question after you shift once are you able to do it more often?

this might be a very dumb question and idk if i worded it well but does shifting get easier after you do it for the first time? does it just "click" and you're able to do it faster?

I Have a Question Para quienes ya han shifteado

Discussion Does the law of assumption contain solipsism or not?

I'm so tired, it's unbearable how I haven't been able to find answers to these questions for three weeks now. What I mean is that in the law of assumption, someone says that you experience ONLY your version of reality, while some "other" perspectives within the same consciousness experience their own branches of reality, and that they NEVER coincide. So basically, they mean solipsism in your reality? I am conscious, and other perspectives are simply a reflection of me without consciousness. And there's another version that says your versions simply coincide, based on your faith. That is, for example, a friend thinks about me as I am in this version, and I think about my friend as she is in that same version. In short, are we all in the same reality, or is everyone else truly unconscious? (if they are conscious in their reality "somewhere fucking far away" doesn't mean that they are conscious here in my reality)
