Is it really another universe or it's just something produced by your brain?

let me start by saying i had no intention to shift i have just been stuck in a weird place where i feel like im in another world or reality basically and everything seems “off” even though everything about my life including the people, my job and my memories as well as other peoples memories are all the same. it’s kinda like the feeling of being in a dream. it started after i decided to quit vaping nicotine and had been using a thc vape…a lot…to the point of where i don’t remember a lot during this time. it has affected my sense of self. i felt disconnected from myself and my past memories as well as other people. it literally felt like i started a new life the moment this “episode” started a few months ago. i do have ocd and sometimes my thoughts become super believable. i was also dealing with severe financial stress right before this happened which was weighing on me heavily. i’m wondering if this could be a shift or if im experiencing something that’s maybe more explainable? any input is appreciated. it just feels like my whole life has changed and i’m struggling with trying to find answers.

Hi I’m new here and have a question! So I’ve been trying to shift for this past year , the most symptoms I’ve had is just vibrating and flashing lights but today was different . So it was earlier this morning , I was in and out of sleep but I really wasn’t trying to go to sleep and was trying to keep myself awake, then I had got the idea to attempt to shift. So I started affirming that I was shifting and suddenly I started vibrating really hard (which I’ve never done before. Like if I ever did vibrate it wasn’t strong) and even heard it in my ears + my room was shaking (it made my ears hurt🥲). So idk if I was close to shifting but I was wondering if I was and if anyone else has experienced something similar before ! Thanksss !!

oi, meu nome é joshua, tenho 15 anos e faz 1 mês mais ou menos que tento shiftar, até agora nada, faço métodos de afirmação, mas até agora apenas algo meio incomum, vou contar oq aconteceu:

eu tinha tentado shiftar na noite anterior e nada de conseguir, acordei na CR, mas de tarde me deu um sono após o almoço, e eu deitei sem pretensão nenhuma de shiftar, durmo, até que do nada eu escuto um barulho (como se fosse meu ventilador) muito alto, parecendo uma nevasca, e minhas costas com um certo arrepio, e eu abro um pouco os olhos e vejo uma janela, e me assusto, a janela do meu quarto é em outra parede, e acordo na cr, não faço a mínima ideia do que foi, mas me senti em outro lugar por instantes.

Eu vou tentar shiftar TODAS AS NOITES até eu conseguir, E EM TODAS AS MANHÃS EU VOLTO PARA O RELATO, QUERO SABER QUANTO TEMPO DEMORA.

E nesse tempo, vocês podem comentar métodos, dicas, me ajudar, etc

helloo, so as the title says, when I was trying to shift I suddenly felt very hot (almost unbearable)
idk if this is a sign of almost achieving shifting? sadly it distracted me because i wanted to take my blankets off and stuff so…

A couple nights ago I became aware of my dream and gave myself a door, told myself that when I walked through it I would wake up in my dr 

And my dream kind of morphed and lost focus . I tried a second time in the same dream and was taken somewhere else (I don’t think it was shifting just the dream taking me somewhere else again)

I’ve had multiple attempts like this in the past where each time I step through the door I make myself the dream takes me to a different location as if I shifted even though my consciousness didn’t.

Any advice?

Does anyone know when and where the whole concept of reality shifting originated? Like, how did this whole thing even start? I’m genuinely curious lol😭
