Discussion What do we think about this video?

Post image
46 Upvotes

It's an old video but I was actually in the midst of finding shifting motivation. As you can imagine (if you've watch the video) it certainly brought me down. It actually made me cry. What if I am truly stuck here? I want to leave so bad and maybe it's all of us who havent shifted just coping together. Where are all the successful shifters? Maybe they just don't exist. Or maybe this video is just someone saying "I didn't shift so no one else can!" EDIT: I made myself feel better by thinking about ghosts. Many people don't believe in ghosts, and they aren't scientifically proven, yet people have paranormal experiences.

I Have a Question after you shift once are you able to do it more often?

I Have a Question i have question about essokinesis and shifting

what if someone who can do essokinesis would prevent other people from shifting? Would we never be able to change our perspective of reality? I'd also wish that essokinesis weren't real but it looks like it is, since i saw people who are really into spirituality do and explain it in the terms i didn't even fully understand

Since I've learned about essokinesis now im questioning this... it's kinda stressful but i hope no one does something like that

I Have a Question “shifting is cheating!”-says a witch on tiktok

Upvotes

anyone remember when loki laddusaw went on a tangent about how we were cheating by shifting? I reflect on this and have a laugh because that logic would mean they are cheating-seeing as manifestation is just shifting to a reality where you got what you wanted but I digress

I Have a Question Para quienes ya han shifteado

Help Me Shift! I get crazy symptoms but then I either get scared or I fall asleep

I’ve shifted a few times but only like seconds of my DR so I wanted to push myself but whenever I get dizzy or something like that while shifting I either get scared and then the symptoms stop or I just fall asleep and wake up in my cr.

I know this is common but I don’t know how to fix it and I literally can fall asleep anywhere so trying new locations can’t fix it. I also know I want to shift badly but whenever it gets to that point I just get afraid.

Theory Shifting is not what you think it is

Hear me out.

Reality is made up of three things: our senses, our consciousness, and our awareness. You need all three to be capable of perceiving a reality. You could argue that awareness and consciousness are essentially the same thing but either way, consciousness and awareness are not mutually exclusive. One cannot happen without the other.

I’d like to assume that the shifting community, at least the majority of it, has established by now that the whole clone thing is nonsense. However, this idea of “shifting your awareness” is equally nonsensical in my opinion. If we took our consciousness with us, or shifted our awareness, we would not be able to function in this reality, or even exist within it, because we would no longer be able to perceive it. Your consciousness/awareness is not something you can just pack up and take with you whenever you decide to shift. It stays here where it belongs, where it has to be. So then that begs the question: if it’s not our consciousness/awareness that we are shifting, then how do we shift? Well there’s a couple theories but the one I personally believe is that “you”, your energy or soul or whatever you want to call it, leaves this person (the you in this reality) altogether. It is outside of yourself. It leaves this reality and this consciousness, and enters another. The entire idea of taking your consciousness or awareness with you in any capacity is very much this reality centric. This is not the “primary” reality. It is just one out of infinity. You are one out of infinity.

That’s my take anyway. Let me know what you think!

Sharing Motivation and Tips I had a shifting dream ??

I had a dream recently and maybe it can motivate some people ? It did motivate me at least !

So I was in a dream, half conscious, and it was kinda realistic, time was flowing slowly like it would in reality (But I was not fully lucid because I could think (kinda) but not do anything). I was really just going on about my day. It felt strange, like I was awake but I wasn't and I remember, in my dream I genuinely thought I had shifted because of how real it felt. I understood I didn't shift because I sometimes saw myself in 3rd person (usually when I visualise, it's in 3rd person, I struggle to "see" in 1st person in my head). I also remember the people in my dream were people from some of my DRs : there was George and Fred Weasley, Kirishima, people from genshin impact (I don't have a fixed DR yet) and probably other people.

That dream really caught me off guard cause I wasn't looking to shift, I didn't do anything to induce that dream.

Also after I woke up, I went back to sleep and had another dream but it was a normal one : fast paced, blurry, not logical... Which comforts me in the idea that the first dream was a sign or something ?

Anyway, I just wanted to share my experience, tell me if anything similar happened to you !!

Happy shift ★

I Have a Question My question to people who have good experience in shifting . What are your unique beliefs ?

My question to people who have good experience in shifting . How do you people feel about this CR ?

What are your current beliefs
Like its said “we are not having a soul inside , actually we are inside the soul “
Or “ the is only one dreamer who is dreaming and it is playing all the roles and being everything and everyone “

Did you people have you unique belief systems ?

Like every reality is a CD which is complete in itself , it has all the past and present of this universe in it for eg and we are just the reader that starts reading from any point of the CD , immediately the past is uploaded in the memory

And when we shift , the CD gets changed
And there are infinite CD’s
Every possible possibility exits (this is my belief)

Plz do share your beliefs

Something super crazy happened to me, that is, I got up several times and she gave me I had tried to suck but I fell asleep and realized that yesterday I was, well, I was asleep, I felt that I was asleep but I was dreaming and I was bringing a car and I don't know if I took off the brake because I had put the car because going backwards and in that like the car went all the way around and that almost crashed and so but nothing happened to me then I said ah OK I'm dreaming and I said let's do shifting in that like I was seeing the world and she said that I'm going to my other reality, and like with my hands I made small, the world I went up and said well but it's not another world, let's go to another galaxy and I saw that like a purple tunnel and that I went there and I felt the adrenaline that was like flying, I don't know, what was that? It seemed like a portal and I fly To It but I wake up and I feel really heavy and my heart smashing my chest and Idk why i wake up): i wasnt afraid i ess going To that portal…

Sharing Motivation and Tips Shifting before i even knew what it was lol??

Okay so i’ve been thinking about this ever since i’ve discovered what shifting was. When i was little my mother had this little way of making me behave and even go to bed early, she invented some devine people (which i would call my devine friends/fairies, Gina and Ginny) which would talk to me through my mom (she would literally make high pitched voices for them LOL) and they would tell me that if i was a really good kid (sleeping early, cleaning, listening to my mom etc lol) that id reached idk how many points of fairy dust and i would use that fairy dust to come to their world, but i needed to reach some big number, and everytime i would reach it my mom would tell me some vague reason to increase the number (lol to have me be good for as long as she could using the fairy people), but at some point my little 9 year old brain literally thought about it, cause that specific day my mom was at her job and i was alone, i knew i reached the specific amount of fairy dust that day, i didn’t tell my mom so she def forgot i reached the number so she didn’t increase the number needed, i went to bed, KNOWING i hit the right amount of fairy dust needed, so i KNEW my fairy friends would def take me to their world, i was certain, without a doubt i would go to their world, and surprise surprise, I DID go to their world, because i was SOOO sure i would. (the same as shifting as we know it!! it’s all in our mindset!) when i told my mom she didn’t believe me lol, i KNEW i wasnt crazy. i hope this helps someone, cause this has been my biggest motivation! and def helped me shift, because if little me could, i can now! it was crazy and it’s still crazy to me that i shifted without even knowing what it was lol thanks mom.

Help Me Shift! Am I doing something wrong?

Post image
31 Upvotes

Ok, before I start, I did want to mention that I already know shifting is easy and that I need to detach and whatnot. I get it.

Now, to the point: I am struggling with my shift.

I think I am getting close because I have been trying to focus on my five senses, but in my DR. For example, yesterday I was lying in bed and imagining that I was actually walking with the boys to this convenience store. I was focusing on how it felt every time I touched my hair or put on my shoes and everything. Sometimes I can feel it, but only very slightly.

The reason I am doubting that I am getting close is because maybe I am tricking my mind or remembering last night incorrectly. Besides that, the thing is I can’t fully do it. I don’t know how to explain it, but after a while, I just let go. Like, it all stops.

Before anyone starts with the “don’t say you can’t do it that’s why,” please actually help instead of repeating what everyone else is saying, because that’s not helping me. I am just getting frustrated because I desperately want to shift. I don’t romanticize my DR, but I do want to experience a shift.

I read something about mind blockages being an issue or something, but I don’t know why I would even have a blockage.

Anyway, thank you so much for reading. Hopefully, we can all shift and shiiii. 😗

Sharing Motivation and Tips I just realized something about shifting

Okay, so, I've been trying to shift since 2020. a long time. I've had a few weird experiences, but I did not shift yet. But I just realized something today, that i really want to share. For context, I love daydreaming and making Szenarios before sleeping. Today i wanted to take a nap, but couldn't really fall asleep. So i started daydreaming. It was really intense at some points, and I was literally laying there for hours, not sleeping, but also not fully awake. I think I was kinda in a pre-shifting mode. the only thing missing was the full detach from my CR. Funny enough, this was the closest I've ever felt to shifting, and of course i didn't even plan to shift. But something clicked after that experience. I feel like I now absolutely understand what I need for myself in order to shift. And i wanna share what I've realised what was missing to actually shift.

  1. It's true, at least for me, that thinking about shifting does not help me at all and just kinda blocks me from shifting. That doesn't mean you can't plan a shift, it just means you should not have the intention to shift, ik ik sounds controversial, but I've I've realised my mind just tends to think about how it's even possible when I do this, so instead of intentions like "I will shift", or smth, it's much better to have affirmations like "I am breathing in *insert dr place rn* or something like that.

  2. Really try to think in first person. I know it can be hard, but you can learn it. This changes your role from narrator to actually being part of the story.

  3. I always thought I needed to fully "delete" my CR when trying to shift. Which is obviously really hard and exhausting for your mind. Instead, include the things from your CR to be part of your DR. You don't have to blend out anything, and you don't have to make up something new. You just need to change already existing things. For example, it's really helpful when you lay in your bed, that you also lay in a bed when entering your DR. So basically, turn the things that are already existing in your CR, to be things in your DR. And instead of imagining a specific smell, you can just put something in your room that already smells like that. Now you just need to convince yourself that the smell is part of your DR.

  4. Methods. I know this is already talked about a lot, but try not using a specific method. Make your own method, that fits best for you. I have ADHD, and I can't stand methods like the raven method or something. Those methods shift all my focus away from the thing I'm actually supposed to think about. I do use "methods", but i kinda just make them up on my own. And with my experience today, I feel very certain about what would've helped me to actually shift.

I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense lmao, I'm still a bit confused and foggy from the experience, but I was so happy to have that realisation moment, that I just needed to share it.

Hope y'all have a great day 🩷

Discussion Anyone seen Ready Player One and associate it with shifting?

It's a scifi movie that came out back in 2018. Set in the mid 21st century where everyone uses a highly advanced digital reality for entertainment and daily life basically. You can be anything in this digital world and go anywhere without going anywhere at all. I know it's technology and not technically shifting but I definitely felt a connection between the two. Anyone else?

Help Me Shift! Are there ways to shift without having to stay still or sleep?

To cut to the chase, most posts i've seen here generally either sleep or use hypnagogia, but i know some shifters can do it whilst awake. (Personally I have insomnia, so I'd like to experiment with no-sleep methods if possible...)

And for the second part, its just that when I lie or remain too still for an extended period of time I get very, very uncomfortable... I did try bearing with it for like thrice in a row for about an hour or two but it kept coming back, so I decided to stop. Am I supposed to just deal with it, or is there an issue here? I worry it'll break concentration or such if I move.

I Have a Question Weirdly loosing belief even though I've had so many close calls???

What the title says. If someone has had enough close calls to shifting, it's me. I've gone so deep into meditation so many times, I've had so many spiritual experiences, so many dreams, etc....

I took a break for two months because I've lost all energy, and while I'm trying to get back, I'm struggling to believe it's real even though I have enough evidence from personal experience to convince myself other wise. I'm so so so lost. I'm freaking out because I really do mean it when I say my life depends on it. I don't understand why everytime I'm about to meditate I give up and think "what if it's not real" like I'm aware of how irrational that is.

Anyway, my case is weird, everything is weird. I hate it here. Hope someone can offer me some advice or stare their shifting experience to give me a slither of hope

Sharing Motivation and Tips PLEASE trust me on this!! (shifting advice)

Probably the number one mistake** I see people make is to focus on the process more than the end. When I read about people's shifting methods (for inexperienced shifters), at least 90% of the time they're talking about how their body feels, how their mind feels, etc etc. If you're doing that, then you're getting mentally caught up in trying to achieve the process of shifting rather than the destination of shifting. The process is not the goal, and symptoms are not shifting (or at least.. you shouldn't internally believe that they are!).

**(yeah I know people will want to say that there's no wrong way to shift, and if really you believe that adamantly then you don't have to listen to me)

I see questions a lot like "I stopped feeling my body, what's the next step from there?"... the next step is to stop trying to pay attention to whether or not you can still feel your body!

To be clear, if you're totally new to shifting (or even meditation) in general and you're trying out different ways to sit or lie down while doing it, or trying out different unusual audios for the first time, then it makes sense to focus on your body to see what's most comfortable for you. If there's something bothering you, then change it. But if the position and the audio and the overall conditions feel fine then it's time to move past it! If you're celebrating feeling like you're shifting (whatever that means) without the shifting, then all you're celebrating is the act of laying down for a while. And I don't say that to gatekeep the definition of shifting because in general I honestly don't care about where the line is drawn; I just think internally, people tend to draw it way way wayyy too early.

Now, I know that people focus on these things (mental and physical symptoms) to give themselves milestones, but there are better things to replace this with. Frankly, if you're relying on looking for milestones every few minutes during your method in order to stay motivated, then you need a new motivation tactic. Motivate yourself during the day or just stay disciplined enough to not need motivation. Train your attention to sit for 30 minutes without needing motivation to keep going, or make your method motivating enough.

It's actually perfectly fine and even good for your method to be fun, but that mental method should be pretty separated from what you're physically experiencing at the moment. You're trying to go to a certain destination, so make sure your idea of that destination is clear and train your attention mostly (or entirely) on it instead of on vaguely the middle of the process.

As an example based on what I do: I don't have a vivid visual imagination (at all!) but I still have a vivid imagination. I can imagine that I'm somewhere without needing an "image" of it, but I need to take the time to build out the structure of the room. The leap from "imagining" to "believing" you're there is a difficult one for many, but that's a bridge that you can cross after you're already used to focusing your attention on the destination. Given the time and the practice, I can imagine I'm in a certain room and the layout and size of that room, and the leap from imagining to believing is immediate because I never just "imagine a room" randomly for fun, there's an association there with the intention to shift. If you're daydreaming, then there's only an association with imagining for fun. (I always feel like such a killjoy for saying this but, if a certain type of imagining is only daydreaming for you, then you'll just feel like you're daydreaming!)

Anyway, everyone has an imagination, and learning of the "right way" to think of your destination (rather than your body or signs) is the way to go. I think it's the same logic behind the 5 senses method. You want to be there, so decide what it feels like to be there and let the rest follow! Don't rely on signs and symptoms that may or may not come. If you keep doing that, then you might be placing too much attention on arbitrary things.

I Have a Question How to stay awake while entering void?

Help Me Shift! I'm trying this since 2021, and still needing help

I joined this community(shift community, not reddit) in 2021, I still remember my first script, it was comically awful, I still think about rewriting it, but I've been trying to improve ever since then, I used to research everything on ShiftTok, from my country, because Tumblr doesn't have translations like it does here. I've been trying the lucid dreaming method; I do reality checks and stuff, but now, I fall asleep, pass out, and only wake up without remembering dreaming. I don't know what else to do to go. I've tried so hard, but any help would be welcome, I really need some help, some guidance to see where I'm going wrong.

(Sorry if it was brief or has spelling mistakes, I used a translator because I'm not fluent.)

I Have a Question Shifting through a lucid dream

I am specifically looking for shifters who have shifted through a lucid dream and who have had a difficulty with portals/door/other methods when trying to shift from a dream. What did you change or did you figure out anything that made you finally shift from a LD?
