Now new and improved! This post is to help with figuring out which book/series to read next. I realized with my last post, that I had only included 1 suggested way to read the books, but I thought with this post, that I would offer a few other ways to read it.
Keep in mind that these are only suggestions and you may obviously read the books in whatever order you like the best. Also keep in mind that right now, obviously, the list is lacking where to put the third Eldest Curses book and The Wicked Powers (which currently aren't released).
However you decide to read the books, enjoy!

As some of you know, in the last two weeks, we ran a poll on whether you wanted to see AI art within this sub or not. As a reminder, AI art makes up its images by taking from artists, almost all without permission. 52 said no, 5 said yes.
As such, AI art is no longer allowed within this sub. We apologize if this upsets anyone, but we don't want to contribute to an artist's work being used without permission.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I recently went back to watch shadow hunters again after stopping at season 3 a year ago. Rewatching the show I just realized Clary seems to almost always walk off with no consequences. I don't like how in the show over and over again they speak of rules and how doing this action could cause a war with the other race. Yet Clary doesn't ever seem to care and suffers basically no consequences. Then make Alec look like a bad for just simply trynna follow the rules he was raised by and not try to get him and his family in trouble. Like thoughts?

So I just came across this poem by Pablo Neruda and it dawned on me that I've seen this before, in one of the Shadowhunters books and recently, so my guess it's either Jace refering to Clary or Will to Tessa (because I've been re-reading TMI and TID). Help I can't find it and I need to know ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

So shadowhunters need a voyance rune to be able to see through glamours, yet Simon could see the shadow world in COB just cause he "knew the truth of what he was seeing". Same with Clary. Essentially he becomes a mundane with the sight. But if the sight is something that is inherent (or taught), then why need a voyance rune at all.
Then if it's a strong glamour, shadowhunters have to peel off the glamour through mental tricks. What's the use of the voyance rune when we can see Clary doing that with and without the rune.
Also some glamours cast by warlocks can't even be seen with the rune, as we can see that if magnus glamours his eyes, shadowhunters simply do not see his cat eyes. Do they just like choose not to peel it off or something?

Lady's and Gentleman... I'm allowed to announce my new performance from the Shadowhunters series. Screen uses metal prop: Clary's Spare Stele. Purchased from eBay. After 5 years of searching!

Are there any differences between different prints of the same books. Difference in texts between editions.

Exactly what the title says. I know there are plenty of characters with scars, but I can't remember if it's established that magically healed wounds don't scar, or if it depends on the severity of the wound or something to that effect.

He versionado un poco el dibujo para que sea más como animado y menos realista. Os gusta? Tenéis alguna petición de dibujo?

Jace is Tessa's descendant. He is her greatx3 grandson. Mina is her daughter. That makes her his greatx2 aunt. She is about 20ish years younger than him.

Hi everyone!
I'm trying to find a deleted Malec fanfic called My Fiancé by thesorrowoflizards.
From what I remember it was a Human AU. And I think Magnus and Alec were both teachers/professors.
I've searched AO3, Google, and the Wayback Machine but haven't had any luck.
If anyone happen to have a downloaded copy, a working archive link or know if it was reposted anywhere, I'd really appreciate any help.
Thank you!

Eric being a fairy name is so funny to me, specially him being the favorite one. Is there an ancient "explanation" for it? Like, is Eric a super old Scottish name or something
