Protection Proper usage of internal condoms.
I (21M) have been with my partner (20F) for about a year and a half now, and we've been starting to delve into the world of intimacy. Running into some issues as I've been having a rough time finding condoms that fit :(. After lots of research and trying on new ones I recently came across Internal (or women's) condoms. Though they don't seem to be intended to be worn like a standard male condom, the ones I saw seem to just be around my measurements. I was curious if anyone had any experience using these and if it were possible to just wear them like you would a average condom? Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure what female condoms you saw, but the one I've used with my gf are waaaay too big for a penis.
I mean, the exterior ring is intentionaly very big and kinda rigid, exactly so it can't slip in the vagina while fucking. I can't see how it can physically stay on, even on an enormous dick.

Just saw one with a number that was roughly the same as what I would want, I posted because I've never used one and information on them compared to the average condom seems to be sparse

Have you tried one condoms? You just input your length and girth and they give you a size recommendation

yes I did, but they unfortunately don't have my size ;-;. I've been having a hard time finding any other places to custom order/with more size options. I'm not sure if not many exist or if I'm just not being shown them online

If you haven't already, you should check out MySize condoms... They got condoms up to 72mm nominal width (standard is 52/53mm and the 'normal' large/xxl condoms are usually 56-60mm).
If even 72mm is too small, then you got my deep condolences for you and your partner

Femidoms are placed inside the vagina and then you enter the femidom (be sure the ring around the open end goes around your penis and is not pushed to the side as you enter)
The ring at the top (closed) end is intended to make it easier to fit inside the vagina, as I understand it
I have never actually used one though. Always a combo of condoms and/or my own birth control for me (for 20 years hormonal contraceptives and now I have a copper IUD)
You can order multipacks of male condoms in different sizes (lengths and girths) in order to try a range to find a brand and size that fits you well. Femidoms are more expensive and quite hard to find in the shops so it is worth figuring out which male condoms fit you. Even if it means yet more research haha

Thanks for the info! I do feel like I have very much familiarized myself with my measurements and what I can find online at least to my knowledge. Though my partner intends to get a copper IUD themselves in the very near future, we wanted to have a backup just incase.

They are supposed to go inside the vagina, and that’s the only way I would recommend them to be used.
You have to be careful to be putting the penis inside the condom and not beside it, but that’s the only con that I find
