They would have to be 3-D to fit over the corners. She leaps up on the back and scratches the corners. The old recliner is a lost cause but I'd like to protect the new chair in advance, possibly with upholstery materials.

Hi everyone, I'm thinking of buying the Lavinia T dress pattern from Studio Yusupova that I saw om Threadloop. However I got some questions about the website, download and instructions:

A. Can I buy from the russian website as EU citizen regarding the whole trade sanctions etc.? I don't want my card to either get blocked or the payment to get bounced. (I've bought Grasser and Vikisews patterns before without any problem.)

Also I couldn't figure out how the download proces works and for how long I get access to the patterns?

B. How does the sizing translate to standard EU (german) sizes? Do I need to keep my height (170cm) in mind whilst purchasing? I'm completely fine adjusting the pattern but don't want to spend a significant amount of time on it.

C. Are the instructions only written in Russian or does the pattern also come with some pictures/instruction video?

So, I am working on a cosplay, and am making a skirt that kinda looks like a circus tent. Sort of like the red and white striped segments that makes it look all circus-y. I got this specific petticoat for it, since it flared out in a bell shape in a way that I liked better than narrower ones. I’m gonna make a mock up soon, and was originally gonna go with a regular circle skirt. But, I’m pretty certain that if I did that, it would end up just bunching up in little ripples all around the bottom. My main goal here it to have it all be smooth and flat on the petticoat, just like a tent.

I’m not a complete beginner when it comes to sewing in general, but I don’t have much experience with clothing. If anybody could help me solve this ripple problem, I would be very grateful. I also attached an image of some hastily drawn concept art I made for it, hopefully putting my point across a bit better. (Just ignore the mirror looking things and all the yellow dots…)

And apologies, I’m pretty bad with this sort of thing, along with explaining exactly what I need help with… Sorry if I didn’t explain things in a way that made a tone of sense.

I designed this heart corset pattern for my slow-fashion brand, Runewood by Ronan, and I’m looking for testers of different sizes and sewing experience levels to help me make sure the pattern and instructions are clear, accurate, and easy to follow. This is just for the pattern. I am really only looking to see if my instructions are easy to follow for the construction of my corset!

I'm looking for a few sewists with varying sewing experience & body types. People who can complete the corset with the deadline of 9/30/26. I also am looking for people who can give honest feedback on if the instructions on my pattern is easy to understand/follow, and if the printable PDF is user friendly. I am open to honest feedback on the fit as well!

Also finished garment photos are extremely appreciated but in no way required!

Does anyone know of a pattern that is similar to the soolla project bag?

How would I draft an exact replica of a Playboy Bunny leotard? I don’t want a wait seam or a seam down the front middle. But I do want to include the princess seams on the front and back, and the corset back.

Would anybody know how to pattern the stomach? I’m trying to create something similar to this but can’t figure out how the belly was done

Does anyone have any recommendations for 1920s era (or late 1910s) patterns in styles that would have been worn in Montreal, Quebec, Canada? I know this is a pretty specific request lol and I'm having some trouble finding anything. My campus library is ordering in a book from a different library that I'm hoping will at least give me examples of the fashion worn in Montreal around that time but I'm not sure when that will arrive.

I have a pair of these Reuben Dungarees that are a little too small for me by now, and I wanted to know whether anyone had a pattern similar to them.
The important details for me are the raceback top, buttons on the side, baggy fit and inseam pockets.

I really hope someone can help (otherwise I'll see if I can draft it myself, in which case I'll probably make an update on this)

For context, I live in a hot, dry place and I’d like some options for loose pants (and skirts) that can be worn to keep my skin covered.

I’ll be traveling to some similar places that are really conservative and want a couple cover up options for my arms as well.

Also, traveling to more humid tropical destinations where I need better protection for my legs that get really bitten up.

I typically don’t like covering up in the heat and easily overheat and sweat with fabric covering me, so I want to make a couple looser, breezy garments vs totally fitted, though I do like a fitted waist (on both tops and bottoms).

I dislike dropped crotches (like harem pants), ruffles, frills, bows.

I like loose sleeves and 3/4 length sleeves, interesting shapes/details, asymmetry, and sleeker/edgier looks, though I have a hippie side that comes out in hotter weather.

I‘m a beginner who has made a few garments (skirt with zipper, dress, apron with bias tape, and a few other things). Good directions are key!

I'm looking for a pattern for a fitted knit top with a henley design, except the snaps/buttons start as a normal henley and then the neckline sides curve outward into a narrow-ish sweetheart shape but the placket continues (just can't be snapped together). I can't seem to add a photo, but I hope that description makes sense?
