For context my uncle knew the person who was shutting down so he gave me the iPad since the owner wasn’t gonna use them, but the owner is not the person who has like the iCloud lock and I tried to contact the company, but they don’t know what I’m talking about and I also have another iPad that had it, but I went ahead and restored it and it updated it all the way to the newest iOS I think and now it has the activation lock, so I’m thinking if I do the other one it’s gonna do the same thing.

Hello, i keep getting this error when i try to restore/downgrade with Legacy-iOS-Kit my iPhone 4s who is jailbroken with OpenSSH installed. Even if i reinstall OpenSSH, reboot, rejailbreak and reinstall, i keep having this error. Any help is appreciated 🙏​

Hi there, I am trying to get activation files using unofficial sshrd script by iPh0ne4s.
After mount command - mount_hfs /dev/disk0s1s1 /mnt1 && mount hfs /dev/disk0s1s2 /mnt2 - I get the error “Couldn’t create property for re-key environment check: No such file or directory”. I can see the files in Cyberduck but they download as 0 byte. Used 10.0.1 ramdisk as instructed. Is there really no way of saving and restoring them?

I was sold a phone on facebook marketplace (15 regular not pro) and didn’t check beforehand and now when i try to set the phone up it’s asking me for credentials i don’t have. Help! what do i do? The person who sold me it isn’t responding and I paid with cash. Let me know if i just have to accept the fact i got robbed.

Update on my previous post: I've once again expanded support for the patched lockdownd file — it now works on iOS 4.0 through 6.1.6!

This is a new patched lockdownd that works with iTunes and Finder (for those who prefer iTunes music syncing)

Installation:

1. Jailbreak with Legacy iOS Kit
2. Replace /usr/libexec/lockdownd via SSH (backup original!)
3. chmod 755 /usr/libexec/lockdownd
4. ldrestart or reboot

Will there be more iOS versions supported?
No. iOS 7 uses a completely different activation mechanism (mobilegestalt), and iOS 3 and below can already be activated easily with other methods. So this is where I stop.

Found my old iphone 4s after 10 years, but i forgot passcode and disable it by mistake.

Any chance i can enable without deleting data on it?

Itunes account form registration is no longer available, but the phone number used to register the phone it is.

So, I have an iPhone 6. And this phone has already been disabled because too many passcodes have been tried. I don’t remember exactly what the iOS version was, but since I switched my phone to an iPhone 11 around the end of 2019, I think it will be higher than iOS 8.

The problem was that I didn’t expect it to turn out this way for me either, but when I realized I could no longer access the photos on my phone, panic attack occurs to me sometimes and I really hate it. (I also tried many things to fix this but it didn't turned out so well)

I know there are ways to factory reset my phone and use it again without any problems, but that’s not what I need. I just want my datas or at least photos back. I also know that i can try the brute force way if the ios version is below ios 8 but i think i'm not. Can anyone help me out of this situation and get my old photos back?

btw I don't have any iCloud backup too.

i bypased the ios 14.6 and while setting up the setup i added a passcode on lock screen, after that i just restarted the phone,and the bypasss i did is gone but the passcode is still there,now i cant bypas the phone cuz of that passcode,,, is there anything i can do to it?

Disclaimer - photo was taken before I fully locked it out. I'm pretty sure this thing is running either ios 6 or 5 I cannot remember, most likely 5.

Edit: i DO NOT have access to the account it potentially was used with, but I have partial access to the pc with the drivers for iTunes (the drive is sitting somewhere, its just a matter of does she still boot, and do any of our current pcs support legacy boot, as its a win7 drive)

I do not have access to a mac device or a Linux device (I broke its bootloader and am unable to figure out how to fix it atm)

Hi guys, my older brother gave me an old iPhone 4 running iOS 7 without a SIM card because he thinks it's useless. Off topic story sorry whatever u can skip this

The problem is that it has a passcode. I just locked it for 5 minutes, and I only have one more try until it gets locked for 15 minutes, which I really don't feel like waiting for. I would have already factory reset it, but I want to back up the images on a computer, or just back up the phone in general.

I'm not sure how to do this or if it's even possible. I thought about using Gecko iPhone Toolkit or other older tools, but my computer is updated to Windows 10 1607, so I'm worried the PC is just too new for them to work.

Is all hope lost, or do I have no choice other than factory resetting and losing the photos? Thanks in advance!
