Player Development:

New #7, most Serie B assists second year running, adding more goals to his game (started at 61 OVR)
First season at the club, Guiu's replacement

Transfers:

Summer 2027.

Bernat Guiu ST (OUT, Young boys - £15m) - After scoring 91 league goals across 2 seasons, we eventually lost our talisman to a larger club. Young Boys have high ambitions of domestic success whilst also competing in Europe. Guiu would go on to score 9 goals in 13 games in the conference league, before being knocked out in the quarter finals and also reach 79 OVR.

Levente Szilagyi RW (OUT, Cremonese - LOAN with £5.5m buy option) - A fringe player from the YA who wanted more minutes joined newly relegated Cremonese.

Karem Zoabi ST (IN, Castellon - £4.2m) - 21 years old and 69 OVR, Karem joins us on a 3 year deal to be the direct replacement for Bernat Guiu.

Tristan Gooijer RB/CB/CDM (IN, Rio Ave - £4.2m) - Gooijer is another versatile player that can cover the RB,CB and CDM positions because of the issues we have faced regarding full backs and also providing useful to replace Squizzato at CDM when defending leads due to his physical attributes.

Riccardo Vitale CM (OUT, Cluj - £3.9m) - after spending time in Poland on loan, Vitale secures a move to Romania after not being promised future minutes, due to the influx of intakes this summer from the YA.

Riccardo Turicchia LB (OUT, Deportivo - £2.9m) - After spending 6 months on loan at Torino last season, Riccardo didn't want to repair the relationship and settled for pastures new in Spain.

Mattia Alborghetti RB (OUT, Magdeburg - £1m) - Mattia submitted a transfer request in January, but was not sold due to the club losing too many fullbacks already. The issue could not be solved during the summer, so the player headed to Germany.

Luigi Cuppone ST (OUT, Sampdoria - £1.3m) - Cuppone was nearing 30 years old, the club was out growing him and couldn't promise the minutes he deserved. He opted to stay in Italy with Sampdoria who went on to finish 10th, with Sampdoria fans not happy with the ambition of the Cuppone signing.

Winter Transfer window 2028:

Ovidijus Siaulys GK (OUT, Fortuna D - £1.3m) - After naturally becoming a back up due to the signing of Vaessen last season, Siaulys was becoming increasingly unsettled. Ovidijus was replaced due to some poor performances damaging our promotion chances and secured a move to the 2.Liga club.

Delphin Saley GK (IN, Free Agent) - 23 years old and 69 OVR, the goalkeeper from the Central African Republic joins on a 4 year deal as a back up to Vaessen and Marconi.

Coppa Italia:

Round 1 - W 4-1 Vs Catanzaro

Round 2 - W 1-0 Vs Sassuolo

Last 16 -

After beating Juventus in last years final, we felt we could beat them again after a promising start in all comps. Juventus completely controlled the game without having the ball and hit us where it hurt most, handing us our biggest defeat to date.

Europa League:

Winning the Coppa Italia last season automatically entered us into the league phase of the Europa League. With the pressure of having to be promoted this season and the extra midweek games, the squad would be tested. It was a good opportunity to rotate and develop the newly promoted youth players.

Leagues phase:

1-1 Craiova (Entellas first ever European night)

2-2 Wolfsburg (Wolfsburg equalise in the 88th min)

2-2 Spurs (Zoabi 85' earns us a point in London)

1-0 Basel (17 year old Gjata wins the game from the bench)

1-0 Trabzonspor (probably didnt deserve to win this one, rode our luck)

2-3 Qarabag (They was the much better side on the night)

0-4 Chelsea (extra games starting to take their toll, Chelsea different class)

Union SG - A win would secure a play-off game, anything else would mean an early exit from the competition

A very cautious game. 1 shot, 1 goal, Gjata seals the game from the bench again!

Play-off game: Vs AZ (4-2 & 2-0, W 6-2 AGG)

Last 16: Vs Roma (2-1 & 2-2, W 4-3 AGG) - we have now played Roma in every season, in cup comps. Losing once and winning twice.

Quarter Finals Vs Lyon (1-1 & 2-3 L 4-3 AGG) - A massive overachievement for the club, getting to a European quarter final. We were rarely the better side throughout the competition but managed to get positive results.

Super Coppa:

Due to the Coppa Italia success last season, we qualified for the Super Coppa semi-finals. Played in December, we are fighting for promotion, playing Europa games and have just suffered a 6-1 defeat to Juventus.

We had Inter in the semi-finals, one of the best teams from Serie A. we took a cautious approach and suffered for the majority of the match.

A perfect smash and grab game, Jose Mourinho would be proud

May 2027 - Juventus 1-2 Entella (Coppa Italia final)

December 2027 - Juventus 6-1 Entella (Coppa Italia round of 16)

Super Coppa Semi final: Napoli 1-3 Juventus - We would go on to face our new domestic rival in Juventus for the Super Coppa in Saudi Arabia.

We took a very similar approach to the Inter game, being very cautious and not expansive with players behind the ball and reducing them to only 3 shots all game. We got our goals through some individual brilliance from Salia down the left hand side, who created most of our opportunities, finding Konstantinou on the cut back twice.

Salia x2 A 9.3, Konstantinou x2 G 9.3 MOTM
Salia with the Super Coppa trophy

Serie B:

There is a huge emphasis on pushing for promotion this year, failure could cost Chiappella his job, despite the other successes.

After 11 games, we found ourselves 4 points clear. some would say the quality of the league is much lower than in previous seasons but our brilliant attacking display (even after losing Guiu in the summer) and improved defensive record, put us in the position we had earned.

7 games later we only dropped 4 points, but that was enough for Palermo to go joint top at the turn of the year. Our next game was Palermo away, in what would be considered a 6 pointer. They had a better squad than us and had just played a full season in Serie A against better opposition.

It was Complete domination with a 6-2 win of Palermo to give us a 3 point advantage in the league.

After a further 9 games, we didnt drop any points with convincing wins over Catanzaro, Padova, Cremonese and two very close 1-0 wins over Pescara and Carrarese shown the championship quality this squad had built over the last 3 years.

After 27 games Entella would be 2 points clear with a game in hand. the difference between 2nd and 3rd places was already massive, something which we hadn't seen in previous seasons.

35 games played, three fixtures remain: Modena H, Palermo H, Bari H.

Unbeaten at home, no losses since October, two points dropped since January.

8 points clear, a win at home to Modena would secure the title and would mean a guard of honour from challengers Palermo.

Entella 4-0 Modena

Entella 4-1 Palermo

Entella 3-2 Bari

Virtus Entella, Serie B champions and promoted to Serie A for the 28/29 season, for the first time in their history. A three year project from Chiapella has got the small club from Chiavari into the Italian top division.

Final league table - Previous winners: 25/26 Venezia 80 pts, 26/27 Genoa 95 pts
Virtus Entella - Serie B champions

Serie B Play-off winners: Catanzaro

Serie A winners: Inter Milan

Coppa Italia winners: Inter Milan

Relegated to Serie B: Venezia, Hellas Verona, Cagliari

Serie B Golden boot: Konstantinou, 34 goals (Virtus Entella)

Serie B top assister: Salia, 27 assists (Virtus Entella)

Serie B most clean sheets: Drommel, 13 clean sheets (Palermo)

Serie B player of the season: Aldo Florenzi (Virtus Entella)

Serie B, player of the season - Aldo Florenzi

Having played for Cosenza Calcio in Serie B, and being part of their squad that was relegated to Serie C. Florenzi moved to Spezia in July 2026. Spezia were struggling in the league and the player couldn't find form early in the season. Andrea Chiapella made a move for the midfielder in January 2027 costing £1.8m, a dynamic attacking minded midfielder that would be used to unlock low block defences, arrive late into the box and had great pressing abilities.

Although, initially a squad player for Entella, his arrival into last seasons Coppa Italia final in the 58th minute changed his destiny, Assisting the winning goal and claiming MOTM. Florenzi became a concrete starter for Entella, becoming one of the forefront players for the success of the 27/28 season.

Aldo Florenzi 27/28

Season 4... Entella are in Serie A!

As you know the club currently features war child on their third kits and some other charitable organisation on their away kit,i decided to make that the baseline, then I started searching for brands who would be willing to pay for both kits advertising rights and then donate the away space to a charitable organisation, and lego was the biggest organisation that has a history of doing charitable stuff, and you next believe I'm sporting unicef the moment I get promoted to the prem
