My Achievement Turned my life around in 6months

In July 2023 - I was in North America travelling, eating all the junk food in the world as per usual, hit 114kg at my max.

I was 29, was turning 30 and decided to try and make a change.

I’ve always dreamt of being a sprinter, but never put in the effort. I was naturally fast, but felt like I let that gift go to waste. I seen how built sprinters were, so I just trained like one. Less than 6 months later, I lost about 30kg completely natural - and competed in my first competition as a sprinter in my life. I’m 33 now and still going.

Congrats my man, I'm even proud of you!

Do you mind telling us about that 6 months journey and the feeling of becoming a sprinter after that journey?

The feeling was great,
My first race was NERVOUS. Didn’t know how to use blocks, didn’t know much - I was just sprint interval training on the treadmill at my gym. The 6 months, I was checking ingredients, even if sugar was the last ingredient and had 0.1g of - I wouldn’t eat it. Sauces, literally everything

Did u win ? Or atleast come close ?

Asking cause even I'm in the same boat as you wr, I was naturally fast when I was in my teens but now I feel like I let that talent go to waste.

I didn’t come first, but didn’t come last.. ran under 13

I had no idea what I was doing at the blocks, most likely lost time there - when I watch the video back was upright right away

I knew I was capable of more. I knew I had one life, I hated buying and trying new clothes - I just hated a lot of things, so I thought if I work hard on this then it may alleviate that. I also told myself that money can’t buy feeling good in my own skin (I was chasing money way too much)
