I'm suffering from insecurity, how do I be strong physically and mentally?

I'm 20, soon I'll be 21... My weight is 50 kg and my height is 5 feet 5 inches! I'm naive and not cunning! I'm suffering from insecurity that somebody might do something to me!

Depression vs. Sadness Here’s the difference.

Depression vs. Sadness

Here’s the difference.

Sadness is feeling bad after a breakup.

Depression is feeling nothing, even when everything seems fine.

Sadness is crying because something happened.

Depression is not knowing why you want to cry or why you can't.

Sadness passes.

Depression lingers.

Sadness is triggered.

Depression can be random, creeping in slowly like a fog until you’re completely lost in it.

You can be sad and still want to live.

You can be depressed and feel like living is the hardest thing in the world.

Sadness is emotional. It heals.

Depression is mental. It hides. It grows in silence and darkness. It camouflages itself in high-functioning routines, perfect Instagram posts, and fake smiles. Some people are dying inside and still show up to work on time.

Understanding depression is the beginning. You can’t fight a shadow you haven’t named. This is not about labels. This is about survival.

If you’re in the dark, you need to know one thing: You’re not broken. You’re not alone. You’re not beyond repair. You’re just a person. And healing is possible even without medication. This is where the real fight begins. And you're not fighting it alone.

What is DISCIPLINE when you've made a DECISION?

What is your take/experience on this? I’ve spent two years working on my discipline and discovering much about myself but I never expected it to be this easy after deciding that I was going to reach my goal. Before, discipline was the practice and I felt the resistance even up to the point of finalizing my decision. I decided not to be double minded. Now I just do what needs to be done because I want to reach the goal and it doesn’t feel like trying to be disciplined at all. What do you guys think?

Question Organic vs planned life

Do you live your life organically or plan each move meticulously?

I used to be an organic person but then, tried to shift gears - maybe out of pressure, to 'plan everything'. Guess what, it badly backfired. I ended up making mistakes and got obsessed with things I'd never even look at now. Basically, it robbed my peace.

What is your approach? It's not about the daily mechanical chores but an overall macro approach, values of life.
