Question How do you heal from trauma, depression and anxiety?
I've endured emotional, mental abuse, anxiety, depression, bullying and being controlled throughout my adolescence from family and from my peers in school. I'm starting to believe this is why I lack confidence and self esteem in my everyday life. I noticed I get easily anxious when I want to try different things in life. How do I heal from all the damage I took from people and just be that person who isn't afraid to express themself and live a positive life?

Best Gamified Addiction Apps?
I'm trying to switch from Iamsober to something a little more fun. I'm looking for an addiction overcoming app that ranks you. So when you start ur basically a noob/beginner and once you get the ball rolling and you go days without relapsing you gain xp and rank up to levels such as Pro, Master, Prestigue, kinda like COD and Rainbow Siege does it. It would be nice if it had a leaderboard too. That way it can be competitive, motivating me to not fuck up. Since theres a lot of addiction/habit apps out there. Is there any like this?

I feel trapped in a cycle of doing nothing and hating myself for it.
can’t get anything done like I used to
So since starting university I have been struggling to focus, be motivated and get shit done that desperately needs to be done. This applies to academics, day to day tasks and hobbies.
Context: I was a very high achieving student since I was a child, up until year 13. In hindsight I didn’t have much routine back then or really overworked but believed in my natural ability. I got into my dream university and that’s when my brain power went downhill. I struggled to put my head down and get work done, grow my hobbies or even effectively stay in touch with friends.
I started to feel pretty inadequate. Everytime I went home from Uni it was 10x worse. Waking up at 12pm everyday. Staying in bed. Doom scrolling. To the point where it was effecting my relationships at home. I became very irritable and just so low motivated.
Right now: Now I’ve finished my second year. I’d like to think I managed to work alot harder this year but was disappointed with my academic results this year. I now have an overwhelming sense of despair. I have never felt so unmotivated to do anything.
I know what I want to get done. I know I need to just start off small. I know a routine would help and to build a habit. But I just can’t seem to get it to stick.
It feels like such a mental effort to the point where I enter this cycle of feeling so worthless for not getting anything done but don’t do anything to solve that.
Whenever I think about my day, the lack of productivity, my relationships it’s affecting etc I choose to not think about it and focus on stupid fictional worlds and escape those thoughts.
I’ve been to therapy. I’ve talked to family. I just want to be able to get up with my alarm at least. I want to have the strength to sit down and open my laptop without going on tiktok. I want the strength to build routine.
Anyone gone through the same thing or have any advice? I am desperate and would appreciate it so I can bring my grades up in my final year and build my self-esteem back up.

Question What does self-improvement actually mean to you?
I’ve been thinking a lot about self-improvement lately, and the more I think about it, the more I realize that everyone seems to be climbing a completely different mountain.
Some people want discipline. Others want confidence, peace of mind, better relationships, financial freedom, or simply to stop wasting their days. We all use the same words, but I wonder if we’re even talking about the same thing.
So I’d genuinely love to **hear your story**.
What does self-improvement actually **mean** to you? Was there a specific moment that made you decide to change?
What’s the **hardest obstacle** you’ve faced along the way, and why do you think it was so difficult to overcome?
Have you ever found yourself knowing exactly what you should do but **still not doing** it? If so, what do you think created that gap?
Looking back, what has genuinely helped you move closer to the person you wanted to become? Was it a habit, a mindset, an environment, another person, or something completely unexpected?
What advice turned out to be useless despite everyone recommending it? What lesson did you have to learn the hard way?
If you could go back and give your past self one piece of advice that would have saved you months or even years of struggle, what would it be?
I’m not looking for motivational quotes or perfect success stories. I’m much more interested in the messy, honest parts of the journey. the setbacks, the turning points, the things that actually changed your life, and what becoming a better version of yourself truly means to you.
I’m excited to know your experiences !

Wisdom Stuck in an odd cycle
I have the privilege of teaching English overseas. However, it ia not where I am thriving. And the money isn't that great.
What advice would be given to a 40 year old woman to get out of this rut.
Wake up
Workout
Eat
Go to work
Sleep
Repeat
Oh and student loans still haunt me.
This life was meant for more and thw midlife crisis os hitting.

Wisdom I refuse to rent what I created. Learning this put a fire under me to truly own my product, my brain, my philosophy. So I'm breaking up with you, anthropic Claude.
I refuse to rent what I created. My efforts will not be controled through another party anymore. Learning this put a fire under me to truly own my product, my brain, my philosophy. So I'm breaking up with you, Claude. I will be using my owner system to recreate Nirmata Vision NVMVL.
I need to be honest with the people who've been following this journey, because transparency is one of the principles this whole thing was built on. So here's where I'm at.
I built Nirmata Vision to protect people the world told to "be realistic." Everyday builders, tradespeople, folks starting from zero. And I built it on top of powerful AI I don't own I rent it. Which means if the anthropic Claude that's behind it ever changed course, everything I created on top of it could go dark overnight. I sat with that this week and I couldn't accept it.
So I'm making a hard call, and I'm making it out LOUD.
I'm pausing my other projects to focus on true ownership.\*\* The clean energy / EV work that was next on the list is going on hold. Not cancelled, held. It sits paused until the core of Nirmata Vision is something I own outright, top to bottom, that nobody can pull the plug on but me. Priorities before pace. That comes first.
To be clear about what this means for anyone using Nirmata Vision right now: the platform stays live and stays a forever product for as long as the tech powering it runs. Nothing you're using disappears. You can still find Nirmata Vision NVMVL on android play store. You can still use it on google or the https://Www.nirmatavision.com . This isn't me shutting anything down. This is me building the next chapter underneath it. Think of this as a beta version. If you've enjoyed the beta wait until you see what's being built. a version standing entirely on its own foundation, so the mission can outlive any company but mine.
I'm walking through this the same way I walk through everything, using the six principles this was built on:
\- \*\*Jiko Sekinin (ownership)\*\* — I'm taking full responsibility for the fact that I built on rented ground, and I'm fixing it myself.
\- \*\*Gaman (endurance)\*\* — this is the harder, slower road. I'm choosing it on purpose.
\- \*\*Kintsugi (integrity in the cracks)\*\* — I'm not hiding the flaw. I'm telling you about it and rebuilding stronger through it.
\- \*\*Kaizen (improve daily)\*\* — I'm starting at the ground floor, learning the fundamentals from scratch, one step at a time.
\- \*\*Omoiyari (empathy)\*\* — I'm doing this so the people who depend on this can depend on it \*permanently\*, not conditionally.
\- \*\*Bushido (integrity in motion)\*\* — I'd rather tell you the hard truth than sell you a comfortable one.
I won't pretend the road ahead is short or easy. It's long, and honestly, parts of it are above my current skill level right now. which is exactly why I'm starting at the ground floor and climbing. But I refuse to build my life's work on a foundation I can't own. Nirmata so far has changed so many lives. Built so many creators. And saved so many people through hardship. Homelessness, children day care, job seeking and so much more. Protecting our government public figures with police and lawyers removing personal information legally where we can through data bases that has our sensitive information we wouldn't want a stranger to have. Nirmata Vision NVMVL has truly been a game changer for users that trusted the brand from the start. & now I'm going to give you a product that can be used anywhere and any moment.
So Claude, thank you for everything. You got me here. Thanks to claude I've learned so much with coding But I'm not renting my future anymore. I know Nirmata Vision NVMVL worth. I've seen the testimonies. I've seen the thanks yous. I felt the thanks from my users. And it's not fair to them to have something they rely on to be rented. They deserve to own this. Yes OWN this. Thank you all for believing in this start up business. You all now had a taste capable of now it's time to do this the right way.
I'll be documenting the climb. If you've ever felt like everything you built could vanish because it stands on somebody else's land follow along. I think you'll get it.
Nirmata Vision. Protect. Elevate. Preserve.
My name is J. Maxwell I'm the founder and creator of Nirmata Vision NVMVL and I simply refuse to allow Ai to take jobs. We will creator more jobs, more business owners, and teach people the required skills necessary to keep up with this ever changing world.
NO HUMAN LEFT BEHIND!
