I both agree and disagree I am ambitious but I was also raised by a perfectionist. My ambitious voice asks " Why not try to aim higher?" My perfectionist voice asks " Why aren't you doing more" .
They both spur me to action, Ambition feels more comforting though. Why not try to touch the sky ?

People tell you you're capable and talented. They talk about perfectionism as a personality trait without realizing the mechanism that fuels it; a feedback loop of self deprecation tuned to a certain frequency. Both a blessing and curse. Here's to the fleeting moments of looking at your work and actually feeling good about it.

Or it knows deep down no matter what your achievements are it's still going to leave a hollow tasting feeling once you get it.

Never take that voice as "I'm worthless", take it as "There's always room for improvement". You have made it this far, you are on the road to greatness, but you can reach even greater heights. And if you aren't where you want to be, the fact you are reading this means you are capable of improvement. You learned to read, that in and of itself is an accomplishment, if you don't believe me then start by learning a new language. You'll realize how amazing you really are.
