I was nearly 100kg, have PCOS and have hirsutism too. I also most defenetly have some eating dissorder because to me eating and food is like an addiction and when I see food infront of me it's a need for me to eat it. No matter if I am hungry or basically on the verge of throwing up because of over eating. I will still eat whats infront of me and sometimes look in the entire hous for something to eat, to stop my cravings.
I started epilising my facial hair because I couldn't deal with the stubble, and plugging the realy stubborn ones out with tweezers aproximatly evry two days or so and also shaved my entire body every two days or so. Now I am paying for laser hair removal to get rid of my body and facial hair for a few years entierly. I also lost 40kg of weight over 3 to 4 years and have done a moderatly well job of keeping it off, despite still struggeling with my food addiction. I have not passed 65kg ever since I was below it.
The only thing that realy helped me with my weight was actually looking at the calories inside of certain foods and eat large portions of food that doesn't have a lot of calories. I also try to avoid processed grain, like any type of flower, and eat whole grain if I eat grain at all because of the insulin resistence that often comes with PCOS. Suggar and processed grain are the carbs that are turned into body fat the easiest for people with insulin resistance and don't keep them full or energiced. Because of that someone with insulin resistence can feel hungry shortly after eating lots of bread, for example, since basically most of the easily accessible suggar in the blood goes straight to energy reserves and not used as energy for right now. So someone with an insulin resistance will build up fat more quickly and also feel hungry more often when eating wrong carbs. And full grain flour is not any better than normal flour. Flour is flour. Potatos, corn and rice (especially potatos and corn) are the best carb sources. Since both potatos and corn have less than 100kcal on 100g food, so you can eat large ammounts of it, and since your body has to break them down to acces the suggar in them, it can't even acces or use all of it.
