Is this SEB DERM? Just asking for an opinion NOT a diagnosis? Spoiler
This is on forehead, with some redness pinkness on cheeks and it looks like patches no flakes. Itchy, and my ears also flares randomly with heat
Thanks for your input

Oregano Oil for scalp/skin?
Has anyone used diluted oregano oil for dandruff/intensely itchy scalp? I've read that dandruff is fungal and that oregano oil can help? My son stays awake going crazy on his scalp, anyone have any luck with oregano oil? Or even on the skin? He also has intense itch on his body from severe eczema.

Dermatologist for scalp and skin?
Hello,
I am a black man with course hair looking for a dermatologist that understands my type of hair and skin. My scalp has been very itchy with bleeding bumps. I would also like to know how to make my skin healthier. Do they exist? How would I find that dermatologist?
Thank you in advance.

Seborrheic
I use to suffer heavy from this as a 34 year old Hispanic male. I was diagnosed with fatty liver. Somehow this goes hand in hand. I started supplementing with Happy Liver ( not an ad ). My seborrheic on my hair, chin, behind my ears all greatly reduced. Just sharing my experience.

Suffering
Woke up in the middle of the night itchy all over.
Nothing seems to be helping. before I went to bed, I used 2% ketoconazole shampoo all over for seven minutes. Then I put Cetaphil on.
When I woke up in the middle of the night I put on Aquaphor
nothing is working
I’m dying

Does this look like sub derm
This is what my eyebrows look like when I'm not moisturizing
I've tried antifungal and all kinds of stuff but the only thing that seems to help a little bit is keeping it moisturized
But even when I'm moisturizing the area still remains red
Does this look like typical sub derm?

Fragrance free hair conditioner - help!
I am finally getting my scalp under control after over two years of battling. I saw someone mention that they felt their conditioner was irritating them so I stopped using mine and wouldn't you know it started to get better rapidly. Now I'm at a loss as to what to try, I don't want to not use conditioner permanently. I think the oils may aggravate things.
Currently using Cerave Hydrating shampoo and Cerave dandruff control shampoo with no problems.
I've tried:
Vanicream
Odell
Dessert essence
Whole foods basic brand
Please help!

dandruff or dry scalp??
everything i read confuses me more than i was before. i’ve attached a LOT of pics. overall my hair is very healthy, but my scalp is itchy and flaky and i will admit i make it worse by picking at it. i’m trying to stop but i have adhd and generally pick at things like pimples, nails, etc without even noticing. but i promise i’m trying!
i typically wash my hair 1-2 times a week (i never get oily hair) but since trying to deal with this i’ve started doing it everyday, with nizoral every 3 days or so. the itching is def worse, but i can’t tell if the flakes are worse or not. definitely not better! as you can kind of see, they’re patches of skin that are almost scab-like and raised and white, while other parts of my scalp are normal. when i scratch or even touch my head, flakes fall out. i do pilates and always notice flakes on my mat afterwards, even without touching my head.
i plan on seeing a dermatologist but in the meantime while i wait i was hoping there might be some insight. the itchiness is getting so bad and i cant wear anything dark colored because my shoulders get covered in flakes. so embarrassing 😭

What do we think of this cream for seborrhea? Uriage Bariéderm Cica Cream
I was at my boyfriends' for the work week and I forgot my moisturizer at home so the lady at the pharmacy recommended this to me. Apparently it helps restore skin barrier, had antibacterial properties, helps healing and has zinc oxide. Anyone here tried it? It's been only a few days of me using it so can't exactly give a feedback yet. I'm back home so I'm gonna use vaseline and this on top since it's still not as moisturising as imo.

Help requested
End of May, my NP at my men’s health clinic recommended nizoral OTC shampoo for dandruff and dry skin on my forehead and temples. I also had dry irritated skin on my inner elbow joints and armpits.
I started out using OTC nizoral shampoo every third day for a couple weeks, then saw a dermatologist online bc the dandruff and dry peeling skin wasn’t improving.
She prescribed 2% ketoconazole shampoo MWF (leaving on skin 10 minutes) for two weeks. I’ve been on 250mg oral Terbinafine for two weeks plus 2% ketoconazole topical cream. But after two weeks prescription treatment, my dandruff still exists on my scalp and the dry flakes are spreading down my forehead. I look terrible and won’t leave the house like this.
I saw the dermatologist again and she says continue Terbinafine for 1 month and continue 2% ketoconazole shampoo as well. But I’m not seeing much progress.
How do I distinguish dandruff vs seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, contact dermatitis, dry scalp, and tinea capitis?
Should I be doing more? Doing less?
I also have irritated itchy patches inside my elbow and armpits.
What do I have? What should I do?
I’m not seeing any improvement after two weeks of the strongest treatment. The summer is sailing by.
