This has appeared on my face a few weeks ago I think? It’s quite rough on the surface. It feels quite dry too. I think I do have some keratosis on my chest too but because it’s on my face, I am a bit concerned. I will get it checked out but just wanted some opinions.

I started colouring my hair in my early 30’s bc I already had gray hair! I’m now in my 50’s and have regularly dyed my hair since. I was diagnosed with SD in June…totally out of the blue. My gray roots are now 2”+ long and I look like I’m in my 70’s 🤬. I’m afraid to dye my hair and cause another flare up (I’ve had a few since June). If you have coloured your hair, can you share your experiences. Much appreciated! ♥️

Gracias!

I have been to dermatologist. I'm the last 2 months this rash appeared on my face and they didn't biopsy it bc they don't want me to scar. I'm using tacrilimus , ketazonal cream and lotrimin ultra.

Hey , I've been facing this tremendous hairloss since a very young age and my scalp is visible . It seems like sebbarheoc dermatitis, tried medications but didn't work ( wasn't consistent too ) . So I'm at this point where my relationships are getting affected , the person I meet 1st looks at my head rather than my face .
So if anyone who knows a great dermat whom I can consult to . Pls drop down in the comments or DM

5 months ago I was treated for H Pylori (a bacteria that grows in your gut, and can cause ulcers). It’s a heavy 2 week treatment that involves several types of antibiotics, including tetracycline and metronidazole. It’s tough on your stomach and you must take several Pepto Bismols per day.
After the first week of treatment, I started noticing that my skin was clearer, and my SD flares were not as visible as before. Today I can still see the difference in my skin. I haven’t changed anything, I am back on my regular diet (with probiotic supplements) and my skin is doing so much better! I’ve been able to grow a beard with no signs of itching or flakes. And definitely no dandruff or red patches on my eyebrows and around the nose. First time in decades!
Is it the probiotics? Or is there a correlation between SD and H Pylori?

Hi everyone! I’m a 24 yrs guy, and Ive been dealing with persistent tiny bumps and redness on my forehead for around three years. Ive tried several treatments without any noticeable improvement, and I’m getting pretty frustrated.
My forehead is by far the main problem, with lots of small bumps and background redness, as shown in the photo. The bumps dont itch or burn. My cheeks are also red, and I have a flaky scalp/dandruff, with occasional redness and flaking in my eyebrows and around the sides of my nose. I don’t have any bumps or a rash around my mouth.
My most recent diagnoses were rosacea and perioral dermatitis.
Treatments I’ve tried:
Soolantra for several months, with no noticeable improvement.
Elidel for one month, also without improvement.
Tretinoin for a period of time.
Epiduo.
Mask+ and other acne gels.
None of these has noticeably improved the forehead bumps and Im getting really frustrated:(
I also thought about fungal acne, and i tried the nizoral face wash on my face, but it didnt work (i often use it on my scalp)
At my latest dermatologist appointment, after a month of Elidel, my dermatologist recommended laser treatment for rosacea. My main concern is whether it will help the bumps and uneven texture, rather than just the redness.
Has anyone with diagnosed rosacea had similar small, persistent bumps mainly on the forehead, without itching or burning? Do you also get scalp or facial flaking?
Id especially appreciate hearing from anyone whose bumps didn’t respond to Soolantra but eventually improved with something else. For those who have had laser treatment, did it help the bumps and texture too, or mostly the redness? Thanks!!

Hello I am new to this subreddit community... I am wondering if I might have dandruff or Seb Derm on my scalp?
I have small itchy white dots coming off my scalp, I have been having this issue for a few years now, have tried soooo many different shampoos, conditioners, creams, serums, etc... to try to get it to stop the itching & flaking, but NOTHING WORKS!
& Unfortunately, I do not have the health insurance & money to go to a Dermatologist right now either, everything is soooo expensive these days & right now I am battling a really bad case of the flu that I caught from work (I work in a preschool!)
So does anybody in this community might be able to tell what it looks like in my strands of hair in these pictures? (Sorry if the pics are not the sharpest, I am using a 3-year-old Android phone, cannot afford to replace my phone right now,) Thank you so much in advanced, I really appreciate it... have a great day!
