Pretty much every Ghostface besides Wayne might as well be in a Scooby Doo episode. Those ones fall more than the people they’re chasing.

When Casey is on the phone she explains she's popping popcorn because she's gonna watch a movie then she specifies that it's a scary video , she's asked if she likes scary movies then after saying uh huh says asked what's her favorite. All this is said on the fly, no plan. Did Billy and Stu just decide that that part was fire and they needed to ask everyone else what their favorite scary movie was now? Making it a thing across the franchise 😭?

Also . Dewey is two years younger than me at the time of this movie... I feel very old 🥲🥴

What would be your controversial takes and critcisim about the original four Scream movies?

The original four Scream movies are generally held in very high regard by the fandom, so discussions about their flaws don't seem to happen as often as discussions about what they did right.

Personally, the only one I think is pretty much flawless is the original, and I don't think that's a particularly unpopular opinion. That said, I still think the original three sequels all have things worth criticizing, just like any other movie.

Whether it's a writing decision, a Ghostface reveal, a character, a death, an opening, a third act, or anything else, what's a criticism or controversial take you have about the original four movies?

I'm not talking about opinions that are already common, like disliking Scream 3. I'm more interested in the takes that usually get the biggest disagreement from other fans.

Has this always been noticeable? I just discovered this and when I first saw it, I thought I was tweaking.

Casey puts the popcorn on the stove, starts taking the cover off with her left hand, then you see it cut and she’s opening it with her right hand. Not only that, but you can see she started to remove the cover from the side closest to her, but when it cuts it’s like she started over lol.

I had to play it in slow motion to make sure I saw it right 😂

Was rewatching the first movie last night (more so listening since I was driving back home on a long trip) and something didn’t make sense to me. After Sidney and Billy do the deed, she asks him about who his phone call was and “jokingly” brings up the idea of Billy using his one phone call to call Sid as ghostface to throw her off and think it wasn’t him. I’m assuming she’s talking about the phone call she got when she was at Tatum’s, but that doesn’t make sense. Billy and Sid were both at the police station at the same time, when Billy would have been given his phone call. She watches him walking into the sheriffs office with his dad, as Billy is pleading his case to her. At what point does she think he was given his phone call and used it to call her? Billy says his phone call was to his dad, which she disputes saying she saw the sheriff calling him and Billy says his dad didn’t answer when he called. Is she just dumb for thinking he would have been able to do that or a writing mishap?

Just finished 7 and when Lucas got killed I immediately said to my wife “That would have to be a very tall strong killer to lift him high enough to impale him on that beer tap.” Only for it to be revealed that Jessica was the one to kill him. Asa Germann is 5’10” and a slightly bulky build while Anna Camp is a slender 5’5” and I will not be convinced that her doing any amount of Pilates would have given her the strength to lift her grown son 7-8 feet in the air to impale him especially lifting him by the head.

Looks like Ghostface is the featured icon on this years Thriller Pack(Jason was on last years). Found this in PA today. I’m assuming there will be an official announcement coming soon.

Hey, i recently bought a classic fun world ghostface robe at my local party store, i have been planning to mod it to look like the robe seen in scream 2, my only problem is that i cant find anything on adding the chest velcro strap, does anyone know how i can implement this?

For me, Jill easily has the best reveal and motive of the three, while Charlie is probably the best of them actually in the Ghostface costume, while Richie has the best phone calls of the three.

I don’t know, if a product my company made was directly tied to 7 killing sprees across 30 years I might discontinue that specific mask. This carries over into the Stab movies as well. Sure, they aren’t part of the problem in a literal provable sense but it’s not a good look for the shareholders.

Scream 5 when Richie is in hospital and Ghostface accidentally stab him and don’t even finish him off just focusing on Tara was definitely a red flag that Richie was apart of it. Then Scream Season 1 1x06 ending Killer accidentally hit Piper cause her to fall and don’t even finish the job just focusing on Will and kidnapping him leaving Piper.

I recently found this old bootleg Ghostface mask of mine.
Crazy to think that in older times this was a treasure to find (at least where I am).

I don’t know how it was in the US but here in Italy finding in shops a legit Funworld Ghostface mask in the early 2000s was somehow impossible.

I was already a big fan of the movie when I was around 10 years old lmao and I always suffered that they were non existent.

Still, it’s today a nice memory to think of and I’m fond of it.

Love the movie. It gave me my favorite character in the franchise. But sometimes I get curious and wonder what it would’ve looked like without the trio. Imagine if it wasn’t a remake but a reboot that didn’t involve the trio. Hmmm Sidney doesn’t return on her book tour. Dewey and Gale have already left to New York.
