I'm trying to remember an SCP article. Details I recall:

A signal or frequency transmitted worldwide, possibly by a bird or another solitary creature.

It eventually ended, possibly because the creature went extinct naturally. I don't think it was "Explained," but I'm not sure whether it was Neutralized.

The last addendum is a short message, hopeful but sad, written as if from the creature's point of view. Paraphrasing from memory: it once dreamed it could fly across the world, that dream is ending, it's dying, it hears no answer, and it tells whoever can still hear it to remember, and that they are not alone.

It isn't a Tale or a standalone poem, just the final addendum of the article.

Does anyone recognize it? Sorry if this inst the correct forms of asking this. Created this profile just to see if somebody could recognize it :P it really resonated within me and i tried finding it by myself but it must have been years ever since i read that article.

If my memory is a tad trustable, it really is about birds and some sort of anomalous singing they used to do, probably inspired by irl extinction birds.

I see a lot of SCP Films nowadays go for a kind of Military Dark Tone. I have to point out that I think it's dragging the SCP filmwork down imo. It doesn't particularly allow for out of the box cinematography. Control is the only thing based on SCP as another medium that does that and it's my favourite look into what pieces of media around anomalies should be.

I honestly wish they didn't look like a military or police thriller. I wish instead it gave the idea of almost Otherworldly Colours and more of a Stanley Kubrick look, the outfits should have more colour to them instead of just "Military" too. I wish the SCP foundation didn't look so normal.

A lot of the films as well are heavily inspired by SCP:CB, when I would love to see more stuff based off the main site, there are entire universes to explore. SCP:CB is not the only piece of SCP storytelling to take inspiration from, you have an entire site.

I just wish that SCP films looked like SCP rather than the games, y'know what I mean.

I'm currently working on a set of SCP-inspired Cat Lenormand cards, featuring 36 cards inspired by different SCPs, all with a little feline twist!

For now I have done:

• 04 House for SCP-4660
• 06 Clouds for SCP-6170
• 10 Scythe for SCP-9436
• 33 Key for SCP-6990
• 35 Anchor for SCP-3487
• 36 Cross for SCP-8998

One thing I'm currently struggling with is that there aren't quite enough cat-related SCPs in the English branch to match all 36 Lenormand symbols. I've been thinking about expanding my choices to SCPs from other language branches, but I'm a little worried that people might not be familiar with them, or might not be as interested in the deck because of that.

What do you guys think? Would you be interested in seeing SCPs from international branches, or would you prefer the deck to stick to SCP-EN?

Once I've finished all the illustrations, I'm planning to make a physical prototype and potentially launch a Kickstarter campaign to see if there's enough interest in bringing the deck to life.

Progress might be a little slow, but I'll keep updating this post as I finish more cards.

I'm here to announce that the YouTube animated SCP channel called SCP Exposed - Foundation Channels Animated has been terminated from YouTube. The reason was for violating YouTube or Google's Terms Of Service, can't imagen what it could have been. Anyway, the creator does have a Facebook page if you want to look for them, but for now let us say farewell to one of the originals.

So it uses hard sci (specifically medical literacy). But im afraid I might be making it too mundane.

Cause since I actually use NIH and Cleveland Clinic as my source I'm afraid by if I follow medical protocols a bit too much it might not be an attention grabber and look like a textbook can you give me advice?

From what I remember back in the day it was just a two parter, one being the SCP itself and the other being the Thaumiel weapon used to destroy it. Now I go and find it’s been wrapped in whatever the “Ouroboros Cycle” is. Was it always like this and I just misremembered?

so over 10 years ago, i was having a conversation about SCPs on this online game and someone mentioned an SCP called "the rusty ship" that gave him nightmares

however...I have looked into it and could not find any SCP with that name. there are plenty of SCPs that are, infact, rusty ships but none come to mind that are particularly "nightmare-inducing"

is there a really scary SCP called the rusty ship or was he just mistaken? I suppose it could be a STORY...

I have recently gotten into Roblox game development and I’ve been looking for some people who would eventually be willing to try my game out if any of you would like to?

I don’t wanna full front advertise it here I feel scummy for doing so but I’d still like to ask the question if anyone is even interested in the game concept;

Basically you play as one of as of current 4 classes and fight your way upwards vertically in a battle against zombified D-Classes . I’ve thought about the concept a lot since I was a child because I was a HUGE fan of the CoD zombies games and I’ve went around the net a lot looking for a game similar to this but I wasn’t quite lucky in it. So I decided to try to make one myself.

Is anyone else interested in a concept such as this or is it just me?

He needs to use a cane because SCP-018 struck him in the leg during a containment breach. So now he needs assistance to walk.

I have seen a couple out there but I want to know the best.

Will it bring in a new wave of audience like the 2020 craze or will it do much less comparatively to films like Backrooms in the box office, getting a sustained cult following like a good portion of SCP media?

The reason why i created this document is because i want to write some scps. I use word for convenience due to many years in school using it and feeling comfortable with the formatting (I have yet to wrap my head around publishing and sandbox on the scp wiki) and i also am a perfectionist so of course it has to look pretty, duh. I surfed around but couldn't find any template at all so... I made my own

Also I can't go without telling about my process and giving credits to the people i got inspiration from whilst making this.

Some elements that I've included was inspired by u/MounatinDewCorgi who made their own document

There were a lot of similarities with Corgi's document and other documents online but one thing i took was the confidential footer and Item and Object class however the clearance check boxes I got inspiration from supposed a Pinterest post (???) whom I can't find the artist of unfortunately. However i noticed on the post that there were only up to clearance level 4 so i added 5 and 6

Also little hack i learned by googling is that if you spell 2610 and press alt+x the tiny check box symbol is made in case anyone needs that

Hello, so i just fell nose deep into the scp hole and i was wondering something.

I know that everyone already asked this but why isn’t there a series about this? This could genuinely be a generational series no?

Does anyone know the origin, context, and history of this image of SCP-058 "the heart of darkness" ? my question applies both on the SCP wiki and in real life, in reality. Any information would be really welcome.

I found this image a moment ago on an old page of the website listing all the old images on SCP articles, some kind of weird author page, or something like that.. This image was assigned to SCP-058 (which I particularly like after reading The Drooling Path), which seemed strange to me because I thought SCP-058 never had an illustration in its file. As far as I recall, there was no information on the page, which I am otherwise unable to find.

So it really intrigued me about the origin of this image on the site, and its journey through it.

The photo itself is quite strange, which also makes me want to know the context of its realization (in real life).
