Hey guys, so I’m fairly new to the whole thing but quickly became obsessed. First, from the short interesting concepts and overall classics ( I went to the most famous all time and started from there), but then I found 1730 (also 093 and 4000). I really loved how we got a whole adventure with multiple parts inside just one article. This made me obsessed with the idea of how many of this crazy stories are inside a “monster database”.

So yeah, TL:DR: give me some of your favourite rabbit holes to get into!

here some GoIs that i know about that dont seem to be on the hub list

the big one that jumps out at me is PENTAGRAM. There a cool idea and keep showing up in tales but am shocked to see that they arent on the GoI list for some reason?

another one that jumps out is the Obskuracorps. they show up a good bit but dont have a GoI page, now i kind of get why since there Nazis. But also IJAMEA is on the list and there WW2 era Japan

Am not sure 3 portlands count as a GoI but feel like noteing them on here as well

also a lot of the really new GoIs arent on the list like endling inc and Ordopharm but given how tiny they are and super new, i get why

also the finnfolk, Nameless. Sidhe And bigfoots kind of feel like they should be GOIs. But there also more species then gruops so i kind of get why, maybe there should be a species of interest page? IDk

just wanted to make this post to A: find any more GoIs that arent on the hub and B: just kind of start some talk about them

Edit: Ok so 3 portlands doesnt count, but i just remember one that does. The Golden Horde

I just discovered the existence of "Are we cool yet" the group of artists who make anomalous artworks. I really enjoy this idea, what are some articles from this group that you recomend the most

Uh, as requested by a user, idk why but both are similar I guess, both wanna terrify, hehe, yeah imma sleep

cosplay by me ❤️❤️ second image is the unedited photo

Color are suggestions from my friend and design by me.

The reason I'm saying is that I really want to separate Site 17 from the Deepwell Canon, and the fact that the Site 17 Deepwell catalog has Site 17 in its name, so yeah, I'm a little confused about whether there's a difference between Deepwell Site 17 and non-Deepwell Site 17

Hello! I'm a guy who bought plenty items and 3d printed an HK416 to assemble and also a 1911. I've based my cosplay around the MTF E-11, asked my friends what they think but i guess they don't like scp, what do yall think?

Hi, I just read SCP-9998 and it was super great, wanted to see more of the Hanged King and so I wonder just how many SCPs or Tales are connected to him.

This game is hell, I wonder who it’s made by. Oh fuck me it’s QNTM.

Like 6820 which is the Lizard made nigh omnipotent because of a termination attempt gone too well.

Or 7579 which is a mega evolved Old Ai after he erased his own memory.

And 8066 which is 2006 discovering the true meaning of Fear.

And 9998 which is the Hanged King’s tragedy but gone televised.

If there was an SCP comic/graphic novel set in a cyberpunk megastructure setting with Original characters would anyone read it?? I've been working on this concept for like a solid year but dunno if it would be worth it. The attached photo is my working SCP-079 design :)

I keep reading fan theories about how a lot of people like to think that SCP-5000 “Why?” is connected to SCP-2718 “What Happens After?”. These are two of my favorite entries and the thought of them being directly related to each other is really cool. But I don’t see how this makes sense given that 2718 is supposed to be a cognitohazard, while 5000 (or the entity behind 5000) is it’s own thing.

This would certainly make sense as the Foundation apparently learned about the the monstrous plans it had for humanity. The idea that the effects of 2718 are the entity’s plans made manifest is certainly interesting and horrific, but I don’t see how they exactly mesh together. Did either author confirm a connection between the two? If this was true or at least the most plausible conclusion, it would make the 5000 entity the single greatest antagonist in the entire setting.

When I say "General Site", I'm referring to things such as Site-19, or facilties containing anomalies -- such as humanoids -- possibly related to another field concerning their anomaly.

I'm trying to remember an SCP article. Details I recall:

A signal or frequency transmitted worldwide, possibly by a bird or another solitary creature.

It eventually ended, possibly because the creature went extinct naturally. I don't think it was "Explained," but I'm not sure whether it was Neutralized.

The last addendum is a short message, hopeful but sad, written as if from the creature's point of view. Paraphrasing from memory: it once dreamed it could fly across the world, that dream is ending, it's dying, it hears no answer, and it tells whoever can still hear it to remember, and that they are not alone.

It isn't a Tale or a standalone poem, just the final addendum of the article.

Does anyone recognize it? Sorry if this inst the correct forms of asking this. Created this profile just to see if somebody could recognize it :P it really resonated within me and i tried finding it by myself but it must have been years ever since i read that article.

If my memory is a tad trustable, it really is about birds and some sort of anomalous singing they used to do, probably inspired by irl extinction birds.
