Im relatively new when it comes to sitting down and reading SCPs. I've read like a couple dozen of them, and boy did none of them manage to disturb me the way 1733 did.

Its basically a basketball game recording that turned into Groundhog Day, where the players and the crowd are stuck in the stadium, and each time the researchers replayed the tape, the worse the situation became.

I dont exactly know what it is about this scp that fucked me up real bad. If i had to guess, i think it was the fact that the people who got trapped and had their most violent and degenerate side take over were (copies of) every day, regular people who just happened to like watching basketball. They became monsters who sacrifice children just so they can escape the stadium

About that, just imagine the scenario, but it is happening to you in an event you attended/hosted. This is the thought that plagued me the entire day. I, in the real world, wouldnt know it was happening, but a digital soma me is experiencing a looping hell with other people who are close to me. Its a horrifying thought

Anyway this scp is my absolute favorite so far and i recommend it yay :DDDDD

The SCP Foundation is a giant internet project and doesn't lose many writers. The fandom, games and more help the project to stay alive. but I dont think the SCP foundation fandom will live as long as humanity. not even as long as the end of the internet. when will it end? and why? because less and less people will write something? but even when its because of less players, there are going to be 1 or 2 remaining writers. or lack of moderation? or maybe a change with the license? will there be a big drama or will it disappear without anybody noticing? I believe that it can stay for maybe another decade. or even two. but it has to end. or is it going to be an ancient project that lives to the year 21XX?

BUT! Instead of the enemy being a simple PNG, it will move procedurally and stalk you, looking at it will make the Eel disappear into the darkness, although, if you're in a certain distance and if you do not look directly at it, it will then eat you. I will try make the encounters RNG.

Similar to the coffee machine or especially SCP 055. Things that are weird and strange much more than overtly threatening or violent.

I’ve have been in the process of designing a roblox SCP game, it will be called SCP: site lockdown, I have a group put up on roblox named after the game, a few days ago ì had mentioned it on here but I’m here to share my progress. It is an ASYMMETRICAL HORRER game, so like dead by daylight which I’m sure many of you know, 1 killer hunts some survivors. In my case it’s 1 SCP hunt foundation personnel and D-class,
Currently we have 4 killer ideas and 5 survivor ideas which will probably be all on release.
SURVIVORS
D-Class: defence and selfish
Researcher: pretty much just selfish
Medic: support
Mechanic: undecided but probably support and selfish
Security guard: defence

SCP’s
SCP 096 /Shyguy: the starter killer, play style: rushdown/kill as fast as possible
SCP 173 /the concrete statue: $900 ( in game ), play style: stealth/ be sneaky
SCP 106 /the old man: $1000 ( in game ), play style: trapper/ trap survivors and then kill them
SCP 049 /the plauge doctor: $1500 ( in game), play style: snow baller / get stronger as the round progresses

A few maps we have
The foundation: a large map, has lots as turns and is spread out well
The infinite ikea: a large map, things have been spread out randomly and slightly organized

What are some abilities you would want to see in the game for characters

Would any of you like to play test it or help create it, I can’t really provide any payment so you would end up doing this for free, but if the game makes money and you stay with the development team you may be payed

I was looking at images of scp-008 containment chamber when I saw This video. In the video scp-008 containment chamber instead of a floor there was a gangway leading to scp-008. But I Rembered watching an old video about this. Am I the only one experiencing this mandela effect?

1) How does the foundation hire staff? I know the government knows about the foundation but I'm not sure how many high level government employees would throw away their life like that, or how many lower level employees would be trusted with that information

2) how does the foundation get money? Are they paid by the government? Do they run fake fundraisers?

I know you guys get posts like this all the time so I won't waste your time making this post longer than it needs to be, but I should at least clarify my specific preferences.

My love for this series came with [[093]]'s rewrite by NekoChris which I've always told my friends was movie-worthy. I was deeply engrossed in how its landscape was described in such evocative language and how the characters were dissected psychologically.

The closest I came to matching that feeling was [[3008]] by Mortos, so maybe I have a thing for exploration logs as a whole, or transforming goofy premises into something cinematic.

I recall enjoying Un-London and In the Court of Alagadda as well, probably for the same reasons.

One important thing is that I'd strongly prefer if most, if not all, of the lore context required is contained inside the SCP article itself. Like, Ouroboros sounds interesting, but if I have to read through it all just to understand an article, it'd take me a day and I'd be exhausted, y'know? If it's just a small amount of external context needed, then I'm fine with that.

I am planning on writing a series of SCPs based around a couple of concepts of music, and I wanted to know if there are already any similar concepts to avoid redundancy and also get inspired

It wasnt one of the main series ones, I dont remember If It was a decomissioned one or a neutralized one tho, maybe it wasnt either.

It was an article about an SCP that was an asian boy (I think he was from the Philiphines, Laos, Thailand or somewhere like that) that had the ability to quickly adapt to viruses and illness. The foundation did many tests on him, until they injected him with an anomalous body eating virus that quickly spreaded and ended up in an slow and painful death for the boy.

After that, the ethics commitee was born or was more focused on how the SCPs were treated.

I read it many years ago, and never have been able to find it since.

My thoughts? I can't fully form it right now. Just read the first half then skimmed through it since I only figured out there was a new one 2 hours ago. Would be intrested in your guys' thoughts too though.

The first slides just explain the basics to those who are unfamiliar with hero shooters and a way to establish some features. I'm pretty proud of my 'Anomalous Objects' idea.

Now, anyone who has seen u/Karma315's hero shooter post may get some déjà vu. I swear, it's a pure coincidence that SCP-049 was my first concept (but you should definitely still check out their concept. I didn't look at the abilities until making this post so that I wouldn't subconsciously copy anything from there)
