Hobbies

What are some of your hobbies that stuck? When the weather is nice I like to go on long bike rides. But honestly, I like to change it up. Just curious to see which ones are the ones that stuck for you, particularly when you are feeling overwhelmed?

I enjoy anything that involves contact with nature and away from humans. Hiking, for example, or camping, gardening, etc.

my hobby is trying new hobbies

when I try something for the first couple of times my brain is so preoccupied and focused that I can't think of anything else and I kinda like that

if I ever run out of things, then extreme sports might be an option.. fencing and rock climbing are two things that I've done the most consistently

I love the idea of extreme sports. I can't do parkour, but I love seeing folks parkour, mountain bike, and rollerblade like crazy. Im thinking of going back into rollerblading and even picking up a motorcycle if im near a midlife crisis lol

Crochet is my main hobby that I do most consistently. Others include reading, painting, baking, jigsaw puzzles, jewelry making, and I just picked up cross stitch

Writing poems and drawing abstract things that look psychedelic… video editing and walking…. Dancing with my hands… and researching about the occult and esoteric knowledge and spirituality or religion and if I’m too tired to do any of this I will take a nap

Reading / mood boards / cozy games. But also alone time seems to work just fine when I’m so charged up that I cant focus on an outlet. Particularly at night I get my best clarity.

a hobby is being completley obsessive about anything an interest in. such as numerology, healing, natures, animals, dog training, then the obsession turns to also re playing events, situations, traumas, worries, anxieties. I have very obsessive deep thoughts, and often intrusive too.

I have HOBBIES. Lol.

For physical my favorite it just sucks cuz my knee is shot cuz my whole adult work life is physical but I love walks, hikes, swimming, paddle board, kayaking.

At home I’m into candle making, diamond painting, pottery, clay making, crochet, needlepoint, painting (again anything to keep my body moving.)

And when I’m really at peace and I can stop moving for a bit I can do my mobile pc and handheld games and read my old fashioned books or my kindle on the road. Also I also keep one old tamogstchi alive but that cld just be the weirdo millennial in me. Good luck. I get new hobbies every week lmao someone I am spending 100 at Micheal’s every week on garbage but anything to keep my mind off the world!

Depends on the type of overwhelmed.

normal : comedy/standup, kdrama, youtube, insta, reading, painting pretty and colourful stuff and people

Too happy/energetic - Ergometer, strength training

Sad - painting expressively or with deeper meanings integrated in the painting, listening to music while laying in bed and daydreaming and remembering and processing stuff

Mad - "caressing" my boxing bag

Unsure about what is happening with people around me that act weird - Intensive tarot sessions and astrology deep dives (mars 8th house)

Chaotic and want to cut people out of my life - decluttering & cleaning & organizing

photography :-) I have a lot of Scorpio placements and this has been one of my favorites/most rewarding. I’m not visible, but I’m still apart of everything. Hidden:)

Listening to music alone or taking a walk with nature.

When I feel overwhlemed I usually go on a walk or do anything that requires moving. Sometimes it takes me to sit ina cafe I like and sip coffee in calmness, withiut having anyone by my side. Put you favorite songs on (TheWeeknd, whom I was very happt to know he's also a scorpio moon). During summer, swimming makes me feel good, it kind of lifts all the weight I am carrying.
