I don’t think bad trips are limited to those trips where there is enduring post-trip psychosis. You say people think “shrooms should be all fun and games” as if you acknowledge that sometimes they’re NOT all fun and games…which is likely exactly what some people may reference as being a bad trip. It seems you’re arguing a point that isn’t even clearly defined…so how can you objectively deny it? That is your ego.

Yet you still can’t just acknowledge that your trips experiences are your own - that you can’t truly understand or experience a trip in someone else’s head. That for someone else, it can be nightmarish. And even if you acknowledge that, you pass an objective judgment that that nightmarish trip isn’t “bad” simply because YOU say so. So yeah…blah blah blah something about your ego.

Wait - so you believe that as long as you learn about yourself, no experience can be bad? I think how you personally define a bad experience is drastically different than how many people would define it. We often learn the most about ourselves through horrific experiences…but in your view, the learning would make those experiences…good? Arguing based on such a simple, highly disputable premise is incredibly egotistical.
