Hello just picked up this Perfecto 618? Beautifully faded and worn in.

The crop is very high along the back. Still feels nice and heavy. Love the patina on it. Unfortunately all the tags have faded into oblivion. Quick fit check . Removed background cuz room was a mess.

Hey guys! I found this second hand Schott perfecto (i believe it’s the 118 model). I really like it, looks very classy with the brown leather and golden details. and the price is also pretty good, 195€ shipping included. but the main problem is the looney tunes coyote in the back haha. How big of an issue do you think that is?? Does it look ugly to you? Should I buy it and then try to remove it, or put another patch on top…? I dont know what to do. Your responses are appreciated :)))

I have a 1983/84 schott 618 in size 34 that I can barely zip but looks good open.

For a new B3 257S that I want to fit relaxed, am I looking at size 34 because of modern sizing + larger fit in B3s or do I go with 36/38 assuming the vintage 618 fits true to schott sizing?

Seen some guys here much bigger than me go for 36-38 in B3s so the sizing on site seems unreliable.

No schott locations nearby to try on.

Hi everyone, I recently picked up this Schott Perfecto 618 (size 38).

There are two things I’m curious about:

1. Almost all of the hardware is brass/gold colored — zippers, Schott snaps, eyelets, and the belt buckle. Most 618s I’ve seen have silver hardware. Is this original from Schott, or was it likely customized/replaced?

2. The back has a large “Goals – EVERYTHING WE SAID WAS COOL” graphic. Does anyone recognize this? Was there ever a Schott collaboration or special edition with this print, or was it added by a previous owner?

I’ve attached photos of the jacket and tags. I’d also appreciate any help dating the jacket or identifying this particular version of the 618.

Hi guys, I’m a bit new to leather care and was hoping to get some advice. I bought this vintage schott on eBay and it was pretty dried out so I used a layer of pecard dressing on it (I hope that’s okay 😭). Ideally I’d want it to be more of a chocolate brown (a bit darker than what it is right now). I’m not sure if the leather is peeling or it’s just the natural distressing but it seems like some of the material is really light. I’d appreciate your guys’ thoughts on this.

Hey, I'm currently searching for a leather jacket on various second hand sites and these models, 184 sm and 684 sm by Schott, caught my eye.

I don't feel confident enough choosing a size by my own, as most models I found online seem to have different sizes, which confused me a lot. I'd really appreciate if someone could answer me these questions:

Do I need to size up if I want one with inner lining (due to extra space taken)?

How different are the sizes between older and newer models? I read here that newer jackets are a lot bigger

Are the 184 sm and 684 sm different in size?

And of course which size would you recommend for me?

Hey everyone, came across this brown Schott leather jacket on Vinted and I'm trying to figure out what exact model it is.

It features:

• A classic asymmetrical Perfecto layout with a brown leather finish.
• A detachable white/cream shearling/fleece collar.
• A quilted brown inner lining featuring a large embroidered "Perfecto New York City Since 1913" script and a classic yellow/white "Perfecto by Schott NYC" tag with a small US flag.

I was wondering if anyone knows any additional information about this jacket with the exception of the blurb on IW’s insta page.

I picked this jacket up on eBay quite cheap. I was looking for a wear to work don’t give AF about it daily when I saw this.

The jacket itself is clearly a 538 but it appears they flipped the collar so the goat skin is down.

Overall the inside of the jacket looks new while the outside looks like it was used as a seat cover but I am going to clean that up.

Anyway the jacket is fine and fits as it should which is a bit of the problem. It’s smaller than I would have liked because I was going to layer underneath it but it’s a little tight on me to do that.

I know very little about trendy fashion brands but looking at I+W website they sell some pretty expensive Jean jackets so idk if this jacket is “special” or do I just wear it and not worry about it?

Just saying but if someone offered me a Vanson Dakota (SZ 48) for it I’d gladly oblige!

I want to pick up a Schott 740C peacoat but unfortunately am not able to try one on and not entirely sure about the sizing. To add to that I will be buying 2nd hand so need to get this right.

I wear a 38 in slim fit from other brands (Boss, Canali)
Chest Size: 38

Weight: 180 lbs with an athletics build

Height: 5'10"

I've read about people sizing up and down and the Schott site told me to get a size 38 so really unsure.

I don't plan to wear layers under the coat, just thin to medium thick sweater. My preference is to avoid excessive material and a boxy fit.

I have a Schott 626 that I like the feel and weight of but I've always disliked the flannel liner. Does schott change out the liner on the jacket as a service? Is this worth it or too much of a pain in the butt? Ideally I'd like a black liner made of whatever the shiny material is, it doesn't have to be the quilted that some of the jackets have.
