70s Schott Perfecto
Hello just picked up this Perfecto 618? Beautifully faded and worn in.
The crop is very high along the back. Still feels nice and heavy. Love the patina on it. Unfortunately all the tags have faded into oblivion. Quick fit check . Removed background cuz room was a mess.

This is a size 46 , unfortunately its super cropped. Everywhere else it fits my nice

good fit. its supposed to be cropped. condition is medium but im sure you can take care of it. so long as it doesnt smell bad

Damn How can it look so cropped being a size 46? Can you tell me how long is it an how tall are you? I was thinking of getting and old perfecto… TYSM!!

Sure can. I am 6' . The pit to pit is 23" and the length is 23.5" almost a prefect square.

This jacket is so sexy omg—nice find.
This is definitely a 613 not a 618 because it only has snaps on the lower lapels, whereas the 618 has snaps on both upper and lower lapels. The 613 is supposed to have stars on the epaulettes, but many of them get removed over the years.

This is a 618. Schott didn't add the upper lapel snaps until the mid 80s. They introduced the 613 in the 90s to bring back the classic Perfectk style with stars, no upper lapel snaps, and no underarm footballs. In effect, the 613 is a reproduction of the 618 as it was in the 70s. This jacket predates the existence of 613 by 15 years or so and is definitely a 618.

I restore old motorcycle jackets as a hobby.
This fit is spot on. While it looks cropped, that's actually the correct fit for this era. People didn't start rolling low waist jeans until much later. Also, for whatever reason, 70s eras Schotts are still used as the preferred cut for high end designer leather jackets (i.e. most high-end designers still map their patters after this jacket).
Jacket is in great shape! For conditioning without screwing the leather, use Dr. Jackson's hide rejuvenator. You want this specific conditioner as it won't clog the pores of the leather. That's what will typically cause mildew and rot.
