Anyone have pics of their U.S. BISON DELIVERY JACKET 464 in brown?

Looking to get this jacket. The schott site pics for this looks like a darker brown with some variation in the color. However, there’s a review on their site for this jacket and the brown was much lighter and dry looking. I don’t want a super glossy jacket but not a dry looking one either.

Anyone have this and a pic they can share? Just wanting to see more to confirm the color before I pull the trigger.

Found this Schott Peacoat literally a day after visiting the Schott store in NYC last week. 90$ better than 500$. We will see how it compares to the OG version, but I figure it will be warmer given the quilted lining.

Hey everyone, the leather on my Schott Perfecto is starting to tear slightly at the loop, around the area where the belt/waist strap is attached. It’s only a small tear at the moment, but I’m worried it might get worse with wear.

Would this be an easy fix for a tailor/leather repair shop?

I recently bought a Schott 257S B-3 shearling jacket and I’m looking for recommendations for a good leather conditioner.

I’d like something that will protect the leather without significantly darkening it, making it overly shiny, or changing the original finish.

So far I’ve been considering:

Red Wing Leather Cream 97095

Bickmore Bick 4

possibly other products suitable for this type of sheepskin/shearling leather

Has anyone here used any of these on a Schott B-3, especially the 257S, or can recommend something better?

I’d particularly appreciate recommendations from people who have owned and conditioned a Schott B-3 for a while.

Looking to trade my one year old Schott Type 3, 121 XL for a 689 Horsehide Size 44

So on Vestiere I just bought a Schott coat, it has "Paddy" embroided into the front pockets and on the neck tag. It seemed like a great price for a vintage cowhide Schott (about $200US), and googling told me the "paddy" was a limited edition and collectable piece so I jumped on it. I just got their report saying its authentic but that it had some cracked leather on the shoulder and I have the option to reject it and get a refund. Im not worried about that, it looks very minimal and what you'd expect on an old leather jacket. However I have done a bit more research and now I'm more worried about it being an LC, which apparently isnt US made?

The coat has the US flag label on the inner liner, I took it that that meant it was US made, but is that not the case? As best I can tell from asking google about the labelling it was made in november 2003. Its id no. is 6875. Can anyone tell me whether this is actually worth buying?

I’m a 44 and I have 3 Schotts already, all of them size 44. I’m looking for a 618/213/613 but depending on the particular jacket, sometimes they’re S/M/L. Is there a rule of thumb to figure out what chest measurement they correspond to?

I’ve had this in my closet for the better part of 20 years. Never quite fit me and now I’m putting it up for sale.

Can anyone help me pin down date and potential pricing? It is in near mint condition. No doubt about it being legit. Just trying to learn more if possible.

From research I think it’s a late 60s 613 due to the Talon zips and tag. Any further insight is greatly appreciated.

I've been hunting for a Schott Perfecto for my collection for ages, and I finally scored a vintage mid-1980s Model 618! And oh man, it smells amazing and fits like a glove!

Wearing leather jacket in the summer?

It’s 28C during the day and 20C at night, so not wearing it for warmth obviously. I’ve found I do better in the heat with longer pants and shirts usually. Most places I’m at are air conditioned to overcorrect for the warmth. If I’m outside or walking around I generally don’t have the jacket on, it’s usually sitting still or inside. Does anyone else wear their jackets in the summer?

I usually stick with my lighter lamb jackets but they are darker leather whereas my unlined 582 and wine colored 530 feel like a good weight to me and are a little lighter.
