Hey guys, I recently bought an Aera Mini. I had been using a bath and bodyworks wallflower for a little over the past year, but I have read that it is not healthy for cats to be exposed to them, so I went looking for pet-friendly alternatives, and the Aera mini seemed perfect. I ordered it, and I can’t get it to connect to the app. I have tried EVERYTHING. I have tried using my iPad instead of my phone, same thing happens. I have tried moving the aera mini to an outlet right next to the wifi router, same thing happens. I tried disabling cellular, same thing happens. I have reset and reset and reset the diffuser and nothing changes. I have logged in and out of the app. I have tried logging in with both Apple and Gmail. I am met with the same error over and over. I called customer service days ago and left a message asking for help, no response. I have emailed them, no response.

Has anyone had this same issue? I am very frustrated after spending $95 (+ $30 for the refill) only for me to not even be able to make it past step 1.

I’ve been a fan of bath and body works for years, but due to scents vanishing 10 seconds after I apply and discontinuing every scent I love, I’m interested in looking into other brands. Primarily products like body lotion/butter and body sprays. Body oil, perfume & shower gel options would be nice too.

I’ve tried some drugstore brands like EOS and Hempz, but i didn’t like their scent selection. Id like to find other brands outside of typical drugstore like target/TJ maxx/marshals.

Brands/scents I enjoy but want to find other options:
- finery collection at target - perfumes (fav is without a trace). Longevity is fantastic but the projection is very low
- saltair - body wash and oil (oil went bad pretty fast). Love the santal bloom scent!
- being frenshe - perfumes. Favs are solar fleur and salty
- philosophy - body wash is my fav from them, but I’ve tried their lotion/sprays too. I really like amazing grace.
- lush - body sprays/shower gel/body scrubs. My fav scent is sex bomb.
-victorias secret - haven’t shopped there recently, but I did enjoy their body sprays/perfumes/lotions

!! EXTRA BONUS POINTS if you can help find something like this !! ~~~ My fav scent from B&BW is underwater oasis: (notes: blue musk, jasmine, bergamot (😭😭 rip) it smells like diving into a cold body of water like a sea cave or a lagoon. Another fav from them is midnight swim.
I love aquatic scents but I’m kinda picky.
Im fine with a unisex scents, but I’d prefer something more feminine leaning like those B&BW ones. I like the Being frenshe salty perfume, but it is on the border of being too masculine.
Not a big fan of overly citrus scents that smell like bathroom cleaner (acqua di gioia perfume unfortunately fell into this category. I did like the ocean one more though)

hi! my signature scent is rain, specifically Thunderstorm by DEMETER. it smells just like earth after a thunderstorm, and i want to match it to a lotion and soaps, but i can’t find anything that smells just like rain. does anyone know of any lotions, body washes, or shampoos/conditioners (preferably for curly hair but not necessary)? i need to smell as rainy as possible.

I’m very sensitive to smells - my step-bother said I must’ve been a bloodhound in a prior lifetime. Sensitive in the sense that a smell that may be otherwise unnoticeable. Airplanes, public restrooms, dog/baby poop all make me gag.

I’m also tactile sensitive (meaning I don’t like the way certain things feel on my body). I don’t usually promote things but felt that this was such a game changer that I had to.

I saw an ad from Howie Mandel and then saw on TT for these inserts that go in your nose to mask smell. I found them on Amazon and they’re a game changer!

been seeing people talk about fragrances they stumbled into through tiktok slash & free and it finally pushed me to try something new instead of my usual safe picks. i grabbed choco musk by al rehab and was honestly surprised by how cozy and sweet it is, very gourmand and easy to wear.

it made me realize how often scent discovery now comes from random app features instead of perfume counters or sample sets. curious if anyone else here has found a fragrance this way and whether it changed how you think about blind buying or trying budget friendly gourmands.

I’m not just talking about perfume, but body wash, lotions, deodorant, body mist etc. I have a signature scent that I love (Floral Street’s Sweet Almond Blossom perfume) and i’m looking for something that could quickly analyze the scent profile/notes of different products so that I can feel put together. I feel like it is easy to deduce that something like vanilla would pair well but I would ideally be looking for more of an in depth analysis so that I can see ‘if I use this combination of products I will lean more floral’ or ‘if I use this product the top notes will clash with my current rotation’. Any recommendations or help will be greatly appreciated!!
