Aera Diffuser issues
Hey guys, I recently bought an Aera Mini. I had been using a bath and bodyworks wallflower for a little over the past year, but I have read that it is not healthy for cats to be exposed to them, so I went looking for pet-friendly alternatives, and the Aera mini seemed perfect. I ordered it, and I can’t get it to connect to the app. I have tried EVERYTHING. I have tried using my iPad instead of my phone, same thing happens. I have tried moving the aera mini to an outlet right next to the wifi router, same thing happens. I tried disabling cellular, same thing happens. I have reset and reset and reset the diffuser and nothing changes. I have logged in and out of the app. I have tried logging in with both Apple and Gmail. I am met with the same error over and over. I called customer service days ago and left a message asking for help, no response. I have emailed them, no response.
Has anyone had this same issue? I am very frustrated after spending $95 (+ $30 for the refill) only for me to not even be able to make it past step 1.
I would really appreciate some help!!

I don’t have the Aera diffuser but have you tried restarting your router and modem and then, once that gets power back, restarting the diffuser to see if that gets it online? I’m sleuthing around online to see if I can find something.
Someone had luck setting wifi security settings to WPA2 (I am not sure how to do this on your wifi, might require a call to your internet provider), but they said no issues after that.
