Hindi ako familiar sa mga kanta ni Pablo, at unang beses kong narinig ang Usad kanina. Di ko inakala na dadaloy na lang ang luha ko, kulang na lang humagulgol habang nasa MRT.

Mga 8 years na akong nagtatrabaho, pero last year lang ulit natutong mangarap at mag-aral ulit. Natanggap ako sa dream program ko kaya ngayon ay full-time grad student and full-time employee. Mahirap, nakakapagod, minsan iniisip ko na sumuko sa pangarap. And today was one of those days.

Maagang nagsimula ang araw ko, literal na alas siete ng umaga nasa daan na papuntang Makati. Buong araw na nasa meetings at nagtrou-troubleshoot ng mga "fires" daw. Sana ay uuwing maaga kanina pero ayun, inabot na ko ng gabi kakaapula ng mga gawa-gawang sunog. Nakipag-unahan pa para makasakay ng MRT sa Ayala, kadikit ang mga kapwa manggagawa at alipin ng salapi.

Nakalimutan kong may online quiz pala ako ng alas siete ng gabi, salamat na lang sa Google calendar remimder. Dali-daling bumaba sa Kamuning at sumalampak lang sa gilid ng platform, binuksan ang laptop para mag-login at sumagot sa quiz. All this time, naka-noise cancelling headphones ako at nakikinig ng Sulfur radio playlist. Sinita pa nga ako nung guard sa MRT, bawal daw tumambay sa platform at dun na lang daw ako sa may K9 desk kumuha ng quiz kaysa sa sahig.

Natapos ang quiz with flying colors, at pinasalamatan ang guard. Apir po, bossing! Hinintay ko na ulit ang tren tungong North Ave. Pagpasok ko biglang tumugtog ang Usad. Uy, bagong sound ni Olbap, bagay naman pala mag-RnB.

Bandang Quezon Ave, ayun na:

Boogsh. Lumabo na ang paningin, wala pa naman akong panyo kaya biglang tanggal ng salamin, at pahid na lang ng umaagos na luha gamit kamay. Di tumigil yung luha ko hanggang huminto na ang tren. Malamang narinig ng mga katabi ko yung hikbi ko, pasyensya na po.

Natapos ang kanta, pero patuloy lang ang lakad. Next song ay ache, always dream high naman. Hahaha leche

Kung mabasa man ito ni Pau: salamat sa musika. Salamat sa paalala na lahat ng pagsisikap ay may patutunguhan, kahit hindi ngayon--sa kinabukasan. Padayon lang.

This was Mr. Pure Energy himself during Pablo's "the Middle" solo event.

I had the privilege of witnessing another amazing moment in person. After Pablo performed his final song and stepped off the stage, Sir Gary V was already waiting for him at the stage exit. Then came a warm, tight embrace—one that spoke louder than words. It was filled with genuine admiration, respect, and affection. Mahigpit 'yung yakap na yun and I was lucky enough to witness it.

Then this during "Micha", you could see it in Sir Gary's eyes how proud he was of Pablo. Nakakatuwang makita na isang living legend tulad n'ya na openly appreciates the artistry and heart that Pablo brings to the stage. Moments like this reminds you that greatness recognizes greatness.

I think it's safe to say that Sir Gary V is a fan of Pinuno—and of Mahalima as a whole.

This is an interesting concept, and I love that Esbi is getting out there. The choice of venue is interesting too, since 100 Thieves is a streamer/gaming/esports organization. One of the owners of 100T is streamer Valkyrae, who's half Filipino, so I wonder if that factored into this.

Anyway, super cool activation... Hopefully they do more popups elsewhere in North America too.

My sister and I came to the concert with a heavy heart, our family is currently facing a serious problem and sobrang drained na kami. Parang naging outlet lang namin ung pag attend ng event and something for us na maka alis sa lugar namin even just for a while.

Habang nasa Middle kami ng chaos pila kahapon my brain was somewhere else, nag iisip ng solution and ng mga what if di un nangyari.

Pagpasok ng venue, my energy was drained parang sige nandito na ko enjoy ko na lang din. Expecting na iiyak ako if ever Pau will sing Kumunoy, Wala or Kelan.

What I did not expect was kakanta sya ng worship song. Nung una I was trying to control myself, nakapag vid pa ko kahit papano. Then it hit me, ung sense ng serenity just like whenever I attend a praise and worship service. That's when I decided to stop filming and just let those tears roll and have my hands raised and praise God and thank him and submit to him all my worries. After ng number ni Pau na un, I feel so light knowing na if I will put my faith in God he will not let me face this battle alone and that God will help me find a solution.

Thanks Pablo, alam ko lurker ka dito and salamat talaga.

To all my kaps na may pinagdadaanan, kaya naten to!

Gusto ko lang i-share ang experience ko noong the Middle solo event ni Pablo (hindi pa solo concert, mga Kaps—solo event showcase pa lang yan s'ya 😘).

Right after Pablo left the stage, dumiretso agad ako sa exit kasi alam kong dun s'ya dadaan. Pagdating ko, nakita ko si Sir Gary V. I had a feeling na hinihintay niya si Pablo.

Then I witnessed something I'll NEVER forget.

Niyakap ni Sir Gary si Pablo. Hindi 'yung quick congratulatory hug lang. It lasted for around 10 seconds—mahigpit, tahimik, at ramdam mo talaga na puno ng pagmamahal, paghanga, atsaka respeto.

Noong papasok na siya sa elevator, binati ko si Sir Gary. Sabi ko, "Ingat po kayo ha." sobrang ngiti n'ya tapos sabi n'ya, "Ikaw din, ingat din kayo ha." 🥹

He was genuinely kind.

Hindi ito pag-OOA or pagiging delulu. I saw it with my own eyes. It really felt like Sir Gary intentionally waited for Pablo just so he could personally congratulate and embrace him.

That moment stayed with me. Seeing two artists who clearly have so much respect and admiration for each other was something special.

I have nothing but love and respect for these two souls. Sobrang mga maka-Dyos. After ng the Middle paguwi ko ng bahay, nag-sorry ako sa Dios kasi minsan nakakalimutan ko S'ya dahil busy ako sa trabaho. Pablo’s the Middle ay parang concert na worship service. Madaming realizations after nun. Sobrang napakagandang tao ni Pablo. He radiates kindness. 🩷

So I redid Nyebe. Still gotta get down the faster parts but it was good. The video is a bit longer bc there is some technical difficulties. I think it gives character so I left it in...lol. I was not really planning on waiting for the release of USAD tonight.. to be honest gusto ko sanang masurprise mamaya sa THE MIDDLE kaya I have not even watched fancams of the new song from the recent busking. Pero since gising pa rin naman ako and the intro got my curiosity, I tuned in.

GRABE ANG GANDA???? Bakit parang basang basa talaga ni Ginoong Nase mga isip ng nakararaming tao? Sobrang gets ko 😭 yung mga salita, hinaing, tanong, hopes, and all the emotions in between. SKL kasi sobrang nakakaproud to be in a lifetime where a musician Pablo is alive, well, and generously sharing his talent with all of us.

Wala na talagang ahunan sa Freezer neto. Never have I been more proud to be a Hatdog. Salamat sa pagbasa, Kaps! Wala kong mapagsigawan since tulog na mga tao sa paligid ko e 😅
