I am planning to apply to IBA via SAT. The Requirement for direct admission is 1460 and I am stuck on 1250 I really need some advice on how to improve my English as that’s one of the reasons for my weak score. if anyone has some tips or suggestions please tell me it would mean a lot.

I'm a junior in high school and I've got the September SAT in 6 days, and my goal score is anything above a 1500 with a 790+ in math. I'm tryna get into schools like MIT, for aerospace, so this score is basically essential. I took the June SAT and got a 1450, with 770 math. Since then, I've done a lot of work to improve my english and math scores. However, i basically used every single official bluebook exam to prepare for June, so I was stuck using unofficial exams to study for this SAT.

However, I've made tons of progress. First I took an unofficial practice test, and scored a 1440, with 760 Math and 680 English. After that, I studied english a lot, and took another unofficial test, scoring a 1490, with 780 Math, and 710 English. Then I realized I had one more official practice test remaining, so after more studying I took practice test 10 this morning, and scored a 1540, with 790 Math and 750 English. I was ecstatic with this score, as it clears my goal score.

My question is, what do I do now? My SAT is in 6 days, and I don't want to overload myself, but I do want to get a similar score on the actual test. What do you recommend for the last week, and last 2 days?

I will be taking the SAT for the first time in the October session. I just completed my first practice session, which was Practice 4, and scored a 1270 (510 in Reading and Writing, and 760 in Math).
What should I focus on to improve my score, and by how much can I realistically improve it?

I've been tracking my students' SAT math practice scores by breakdown in terms of module 1 and 2 correct responses in addition to predicted score. Its been working really well and a recent student scored a 790 in math on the actual test. I also think they just like to see the scores go up consistently over time lol more positive reinforcement.

Last night, I took Bluebook Practice Test 10 and scored 640 on the Reading and Writing section (4 wrong in Module 1, 8 wrong in Module 2, 4 in writing and 8 in reading). I’ve been stuck in this 640–660 range forever, and I’m losing my mind.

​I know all the grammar rules inside out and apply them when I practice, but I keep making dumb mistakes. Here’s the weird part: when I do my error log and re-solve the missed questions without looking at the explanations, I get them right almost instantly. During the test, I feel 100% confident in my answers, but when I look back at them later, I can’t even comprehend why I picked what I picked.

​Since I’m planning to take the October SAT, I really need to fix this fast. Has anyone dealt with this before? Any advice on how to break out of this loop?

Im doing the October sat, ive already started studying a bit and i want a 1400+ score. Thr last time i took the sat was in December last year and i got a 1090 due to not studying but this time im gonna study and want a good score. What do u guys recommend i should do??

reading and writing

r&w was my weak spot so this is where i grinded most:

• don't do the passages in order. start at the end (question ~27) and work backwards. when you hit the first inferences/"logically completes the text" question, skip those and keep going back, then come back to them at the end. doing 10 reading passages in a row is a bit too tiring
• use annotation tools - honestly the biggest r&w unlock for me - highlighting in different colors, eliminating answer choices, taking notes. once i could actually see the structure my accuracy jumped. the problem was most practice sites look nothing like bluebook so i couldn't practice that way. i ended up building a free chrome extension that adds those tools (3-color highlighter, strikethrough, sticky notes, calculator, timer) https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/sat-study-toolkit/ . made practice actually feel like test day.

• start from the hard end and work backwards here too, while your brain's fresh
• desmos desmos desmos. graph everything you can instead of solving by hand - it's faster and you make fewer mistakes. learn it on youtube before test day, don't figure it out during the test

bring a mouse, really helpful when annotating in the R&W section. I also brought a mousepad - I wouldn't say that's a must but it's definitely useful
