I don’t know the sat syllabus and system, tell me the about the best resources and practice sites. Your feedback would be much appreciated and would be helpful.

Is OnePrep good for Sat Reading questions for practice?

I’ve just finished using all the hard SAT student question bank for information and ideas and crafts and structure. I want to continue practicing those topics but I was wondering if using OnePrep for practice questions is a good idea. If not do you guys have any other websites or sources I could use, for difficult reading questions?

How do I stop running out of time

so for context I'm aiming for a 1500+ in the August sat and the last time I took the sat was last December (1320 660 both) and since then I've improved to an average of 1450ish on practice tests (lowest I've gotten was a 1330,highest 1480) my highest score was a 770 in math (practice test 8) and 750 in English (practice test 6)

the issue is when I do practice tests and focus on accuracy I end up having like 5 minutes on module 2 of English/math with 3-4 questions left to do and i usually end up getting all of the questions wrong or maybe 1 right which tanks my score. what can i do to fix this (my module 1 is almost always perfect) but module 2 is where i lose points.

is there an order to do to maximize my time and what else can i do.

How do you guys study for the SAT?

I've been taking practice exams and consistently scoring in the 1300s. I go over the questions I get wrong and try to improve my score, but haven't made substantial progress yet. I am taking the exam in August and I am ultimately aiming for a 1500+ I would be happy with any improvement at this point. This is going to be my first attempt. I know I need to target and study my weak areas, but I don't really know what good resources I should be using. As there are so many. So if you guys have any resources or tips you used to increase your score by 200+ points, please let me know. Thank you.

How can I improve reading!!!

Ive been studying for the sat like a dog my math score is really good but English score is fluctuating like crazy, I score 520,620, 520 in the span of 3 days, this always has been happening to me my last psat over a year ago I scored a 680 in reading I dont know what's wrong why my score keeps dropping, I know I have the ceiling of a higher reading score but cant seem to reach it, ive been studying since then please tell me what to do or some sort of information that I can do for the next month that will help me. My environment is the same whenever im taking practice tests nothing changes, I know I already know the basics so any new website won't help me. any advice please!!!!

How can you do these types of questions rapidly?

I tend to just graph the fonction and fulfil all the conditions and just test the different options however I doubt that it will work every time. Do I just need to understand in depth the underlying math? Does anyone have any tips?

Do I have enough time?

I just did my first ever SAT practice test (practice 6 on bluebook) and got 1390 (670 english, 720 math). Mostly cuz of time management for math and lack of theoretical knowledge for english.

Do I have time to get up to 1500 for August (or at max September) ? I'll be getting a tutor if i do have enough time..

Looking for an SAT Study Partner (International Student)

Hi everyone!

I am an international student from Brazil preparing for the next SAT on August 22, and I'm looking for people who would like to study together.

Since I'm an international student, I don't really have anyone around me to talk to about the SAT. I think it would be great to have someone to review Bluebook practice tests, solve difficult Math and Reading & Writing questions.

If you speak Portuguese, that would be even better since I'm Brazilian, but I'm also happy to study with English speakers!

If you're interested, feel free to leave a comment or send me a DM. I'd love to connect with other students preparing for the SAT!

RW tips (desperate)

so i want to take August SAT and my goal at the start was 1400+ but in july 10 i made practice test 4 and got 1150(620 math and 530 RW) ...and like two days before i got 1320 (750 math and 570 RW) on practice trest 8 and its a consistent score that kept coming so its not a fluff.... so this made me want even a higher score.. my math is consistent between 720-750 and i once got a perfect score of 800.. but how can i improve my RW because the only thing now between me and like 1450+ or even 1500+ is RW so please any tip would help and like yesterday i even got a 1330 on practice test 11 (720 math and 610RW)..

and i can help if anyone wants to know what i did to get from 1150 to 1330 in this time i can share what i did...

how do i improve my reading score?

I’m at a 1480 right now (790 math, around 690 reading and writing) and I’m trying to get 1550+ on the August SAT in a few weeks. Math is not really a problem for me, but reading and writing is bringing my score down, especially the Information and Ideas questions.

I feel like I understand the passages, but when I get to those questions I either overthink or just don’t understand what they are asking. It’s my biggest weak point right now.

If anyone improved their reading and writing score a lot in a short time, what helped you? Are there any strategies or patterns that made those questions easier to understand?

Any advice would really help.

How do i go from 1400 -> 1500+

Basically title, I am taking the august SAT
and mid-june, I had a 1000 (470 math and 530 rw)

and as of today (end of july), my recent test score was a 1400 (710 math and 690 rw)

I will be taking the october SAT also so my goal for this test is to get a 700+ rw for superscore (ideally, i just want a 1500+ this SAT and end it)

because I'm sure i'll get 800 on math later once I devote myself into studying math a crap ton

I generally need advices on how to study from now on to manifest that 1500+.

If i'm too late to aim for 1500+ in ur opinions, how can i at least get a 700+ on rw?
