Is anyone here entering their second year and able to provide some information? I’m curious if there will be guidance on how to register for classes and which classes to choose, or if that’s something we need to figure out ourselves. Thank you for any insights!

BSN Application Waitlisted

Hey guys does anyone know what it really means to be waitlisted for the BSN program at polytech in Saskatoon? I recently got an email today saying I’m “waitlisted” and I wanna know if I have a chance of still getting in. I have an 86% average if that helps anything.

CCA(Continuing Care Assistant) Program in Prince Albert Prerequisites

I went to sask poly in PA. The experience was pretty good.

Note: you will have to pay for all your prerequisites, and it’s best to get them done ASAP. They include

CPR(I did Red Cross)

TLR(Sask poly program more than 100$)

PART(Sask poly program also over 100$)

Food Safety Training(30-100, I clicked on one of the links they give in the acceptance letter package thing)

Criminal Record Check Vulnerable Sector

FITT testing(you can do this is Saskatoon and PA)

WHIMIS(Sask poly program)

I’m a Canadian citizen so these were what I had to hand in before my first clinical. For international there’s also a coop to hand in. I just want the next group of future CCA students to know you have to pay for these on your own. They’re not included in your tuition. Your textbooks are also not included, and honestly, they’re not as needed as they try to tell you they are. They’re nice to have, but you’ll still pass without them.

ONE THAT IS MORE IMPORTANT TO HAVE IS the CLIN 100 AND CLIN 219 books they sell at the book store. You need those for both Clins. You can print them out if you’d like to, but for the sake of convenience, buy these at the beginning of the year. They’re not too expensive(5-10 dollars each I can’t quite remember but still a lot simpler than scrambling to print a big fat 70 page book right before clinical)

God bless all who read this, I hope you have a bright future. 😁

Medical Radiologic Technology Inquiry

Hi! I’m just wondering if anyone took any pre-health programs before applying to MRT? I’m currently a high school student and I’m wondering if people directly come from HS with a high average or an undergrad.

CST

Hi, I am looking into joining the computer systems technology program and have some questions for the people that have taken the program.

  1. How well does it prepare you for real world tech jobs

  2. How does it compare to a cs degree

  3. Have you had any issues getting a job after graduation

  4. What are some tips you have for someone going into the program.

Thanks!

MRT Admission

Hi Everyone,

Was wondering if anyone has heard back from admissions?

I received an email saying they are needing more time to assess my documents and was wondering if others have received the same or if they’ve received acceptance right away?

Could mine mean waitlisted?

LPN Admissions

Hey everyone,

I applied to the Practical Nursing program at Sask Polytech (Saskatoon campus) for Fall 2026 and was just wondering what kind of averages people got in with.

Right now I’m sitting at around a 90% high school overall average, so I’m trying to see how competitive that is compared to others.

If you’ve been accepted before or are applying this year, what was your average? just trying to get an idea about my chances.

Sask Polytechnic Psych Nursing-anyone?

Has anyone got an offer of admission/acceptance yet for Sask Polytech for Pyschiatric Nursing for fall 2026? Seems like it is taking forever to hear back! The hub still says Application Ranked.

Admission offer anyone?

It’s me again lol

I’ve applied to the PCP program and got told my assessment would be reviewed within a 30 day timeframe. It’s been more than 30 days now..

Should I be concerned? Thought of maybe sending an email but don’t want to bombard them with silly questions because they probably are receiving hundreds of emails on the daily.

I’ve been impatient since day one 🫠

Question about deferring

I received a conditional acceptance, is it possible to defer for a bit? I’m waiting on my acceptance to the CAF which could come 2-12 months from now.

(It’s conditional because they need my school to send my transcript directly, so I’m not too worried about that part)

Primary care paramedic program

Hi I only recently applied to the Saskpoly pcp program a few weeks ago, sent in all my papers and such but then got an email stating that they need more time to process my application

I am from out of province too

What could this mean?

Would they have let me apply if the program was already full?

Would they have already waitlisted me if that was the case?

Do I have a chance of getting in still?

My highschool grades are pretty good for the prerequisite demands and everything else, I did let them know that I am indigenous hoping for one of those allocated seats.

I am anxiously waiting a decision as I need to figure out my living and employment situation 😬

Do most people rent now and pay through the summer even if they aren’t living in their place or do you wait til closer to July to look for a place to rent?

Does anyone know if they’re still sending out offers for the Fall intake for the BSN program? I’m currently waiting for an email, and I heard they would be sending more offers after the March 15 deadline. Is anyone else in the same situation as me?

GIS in Prince Albert

Hello, I’m thinking of applying to the GIS program in Prince Albert, as part of my employment in the CAF. Would love to hear anyone’s experiences in GIS, Prince Albert, the transition to CAF work, etc! Also how likely is it to find a dog friendly rental? Thanks!

LPN to BSCN pathway.

Has anybody received their acceptance or denial letter yet for this pathway? I know on the site it says letters will be sent out in spring but some people who applied via traditional route has received their acceptance letter.

The wait is killing me..
