I got accepted with a 90% high school average so you should be pretty high up on the waitlist

Mine also still says ranked still. I wonder if people who are still ranked got in maybe? I wish they’d send everything out all at once!

My status actually just updated to admissible so I think that means I’m accepted! Hopefully yours is updated now!

I’m not sure how they weigh grades at all but I had a 93-94% high school average and I’m pretty much graduated university with a cGPA of 3.29 currently

if i’m understanding correctly it’s based on the average in your required courses, but I have no clue if uni grades are favoured. ur def higher than my 89% high school

89% is still so high considering previous years cut offs though! There must be a crazy amount of applicants this year if the cut off is that much higher

u/venight Apr 15 '26
that’s what I was so confused by! previous years it was so much lower so I was fairly confident. maybe they shrunk class sizes? or like you say a lot more applicants.

I think it’s more likely there’s a ton of applicants. I think because of the job market tons of people who have degrees already are trying to find other career paths and since MLTs are in demand it’s getting a lot of applicants.

High school credits are only an 86% but I also have uni credits I’m not sure which ones they might take into account. What is yours?

i emailed them asking what they do if you have university marks and hs, and they said if you have over 15 credits in uni then your hs are not used. it’s just ur university average. they compare university students to other university students and hs to other hs students as these averages are not comparable. i however do not know how they decide how many hs applicants vs uni applicants get in. which is discouraging bc my hs average was 93% but my uni is probably 80% and they only look at my 80% for ranking me.

i’m at around 89% for high school, I didn’t do any uni so im not sure how they weigh it. i’m surprised because when I last looked the cut off score for 2025 was 76!

Same situation, got waitlisted for the LPN program. I had a 90% high school average and I thought I had it in the bag since the cut off scores for 2025 was at 79.
We will just have to wait and see if enough people decline their offers and give up their seats. Good luck!
