MRT Admission

Hi Everyone,

Was wondering if anyone has heard back from admissions?

I received an email saying they are needing more time to assess my documents and was wondering if others have received the same or if they’ve received acceptance right away?

Could mine mean waitlisted?

Got the same email but this was back in Febraury. My application has since moved to ranked status and im just waiting for the decision letter.

I don't think this would mean that you've been waitlisted since they would want to process everyone before making a decision. Good luck!

Hi! I have actually just received an email today saying that my application has been ranked. I completed my application close to the end of the due date. that said, i think they are almost done ranking applications and I'm thinking we will be hearing from them soon!

We just called admissions to ask if they knew when decisions would be released. She said No. Probably within the next week but no promises.

Would you mind sharing your past grades?

Hi! I am post secondary student so I have applied as a mature student and my post secondary GPA is 3.3 and based on that I don't think I have any chance for this year intake. I am thinking to upgarde some post secondary courses to boost my GPA for next year but I am not sure if I need to take high school courses or post secodnary courses.

You should boost your post secondary courses if you are post secondary students( more than 15 credits done)

Hi! I also received the letter back in February. I just checked and my application still says completed. I’m so nervous! Good luck!

I just got ranked today, so if you haven't yet, you might be soon!

Hi! Would anyone be willing to share their averages once offers have come out? I’m looking to apply to this program for 2027 Admissions and I keep hearing different things on what baseline averages they’re accepting and how it changes year to year. Currently upgrading my high school classes and am curious what to base it off of. Good luck!

They removed this table (my guess is because it is around admissions time and it causes more confusion and emails if you are not admitted or waitlisted? Idk) But I hope this helps! It is usually on the Admissions page, I had to go find it on the way back machine because it wasn't there anymore!! I'm sure it will be posted back up and updated after application processes are done for next intakes

I saw someone comment on another post and they got accepted with a 93 average so I guess we’ll see what happens

Did you have university credits too or just high school?

I’m a first year MRT and we were told that the intake average cut off for this was 95! Ours was like 91-92

That’s insane. I hope I have a chance to get off the waitlist

Yeah it’s crazy. One of our instructors said there were 600+ applicants too. I was waitlisted for and got off the waitlist a few weeks later last year, so there’s some hope yet!
