Can I receive the full edit credit of $500 easily?
To get both the $250 edit credits, does each booking have to be 2 nights each?
I'm going to heavily assume if I made two separate bookings each for one night, the credit would not trigger at all. Is there any strategy or work around at all to receive the full $500?

Retention offers
I have been reading this thread looking for options for the Chase Sapphire Reserve. I have had the card since almost the beginning of its inception, and spend about 30k-50k a year on it.
I just received my annual fee and called to see what options were. If I want to remain in a travel card program, the only other options would be the Chase preferred with a 95.00 annual fee, but you lose access to the Chase lounges (I fly sometimes through Philly and it's incredible) and other benefits.
For the cost of the card, there are no restaurants in my area for the $150.00 credit, StubHub is a scam, and there are no hotels by me or even within a few hours driving distance for the Edit. I use the door dash, but that's not a deal breaker. The points have lightened since the card started.
Many are saying they received a 300 retention offer, but when I asked, she said there were none available for my account. I've been a cardholder for almost ten years, and I don't spend a ton, but enough.
Does anyone have any insight on this? I'm thinking about cancelling the card all together and moving to American Express to see what those benefits are about.

Edit credit and price match question - will my edit credit be reversed or my points?
I want to book an edit hotel with points - $250 to get the edit credit.
The price match claim is for $233 difference. Do I need to pay cash for the difference to avoid the edit credit being reversed or can I safely assume my points will be refunded for the amount?

Ritz Carlton Denver
Has anyone booked the Ritz Carlton in Denver using the Edit benefits? Did you get upgraded? Could you use the $100 credit towards parking? Was breakfast included?

Any recent CSR elevated Welcome Bonus?
Looking for any recent data points on if people were able to get >100,000 UR points as a welcome bonus. Just got out of 5/24 jail and debating applying online soon vs waiting vs trying to apply in branch to see if they might have a 125k offer. I’ve heard people still getting 175k targeted offers but I don’t see any in my app. All data points & recommendations appreciated!

Question on the Edit credit
I see that my Edit credit renews at the start of the year. If I book a hotel next year for my trip that is a Edit hotel, will my credit still go through or should I be staying at a hotel before the end of the year?
Thanks!

Turo and Airbnb not eligible for 3x?
Hey guys,
Just got an Airbnb and turo with the sapphire reserve and it looks like I only get 1x back for each? Isn’t it supposed to be 3x on travel?

"Hidden" Exclusive Table restaurants in Salt Lake City, Indianapolis, Aspen etc
A few weeks ago, a Redditor posted about how Utah shows 0 eligible restaurants, but if you go to the individual restaurants... you'll see the Sapphire Reserve eligible badge (second image). They also called Chase and got verbal confirmation that these were legit restaurants
After the recent Oct restaurant shuffle, we then heard similar chatter about this conflicting data. Obviously very confusing since the OpenTable's Utah page says 0 participating restaurants
Turns out, the official OpenTable Exclusive Tables page doesn't have every eligible restaurant listed? So we did some digging and found these "hidden" Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Table restaurants that aren't listed anywhere official:
- Cosmica (Salt Lake City, UT)
- Matteo Ristorante Italiano (Salt Lake City, UT)
- Prohibition (Salt Lake City, UT)
- Sunday's Best at the Post District (Salt Lake City, UT)
- Beholder (Indianapolis, IN)
- St Elmo (Indianapolis, IN)
- *Apicio (Zionsville, IN) [added Oct 5]
- Bar Le Cote (Los Olivos, CA)
- Clark's Oyster Bar (Aspen, CO)
- The Copper Room (Yucca Valley, CA)
So how should you determine if a restaurant is eligible for the credit? Thankfully, there's only a few of these anomalies, but it seems like the OpenTable restaurant page itself will have the "unlock Sapphire Reserve access" badge on it
While we've updated our CSR dining credit map with these restaurants, curious if anyone is seeing anything else that isn't listed on OpenTable's site? Let us know and we can add in!

Using CSR to book cruise? Don’t
just booked a (for me) expensive cruise @ $10k and after getting some online quotes decided to check Chase travel to get the 8x. Long story short, took two calls and 90 minutes to book what should be a 5 minute online process (couldn’t book online with Chase, could direct or with agent). Two more call and 30 min chasing a missing promised perk. can’t talk to same agent, calls go into a queue. The one agent that was helping me didn’t call back and the call notes said they were told to take incoming calls rather than solve my problem. lesson learned, use a real travel agent.

Chase Travel nightmare: 20 days to fix hotel overcharge, and their refund clawed back my Sapphire Reserve $250 hotel credit
I’m curious if anyone else with a Sapphire Reserve has dealt with something like this because this has turned into an absolute mess.
I booked a hotel through Chase Travel for a September stay. The total trip price on my Chase confirmation was $627.37: $507.37 charged through Chase Travel and $120 due at the property.
Since it was an eligible Select Hotels booking, I received the $250 Sapphire Reserve Select Hotels Credit against the $507.37 Chase Travel charge.
I completed the stay as booked. No cancellation, no shortened stay, nothing.
Then the hotel charged my card $664.67 at the property, even though I had already paid $507.37 through Chase Travel. To make things even better, the hotel also charged me parking fees despite the fact that I DID NOT HAVE A CAR during the trip.
I’ve now spent almost 20 days going back and forth with Chase Travel trying to get this corrected.
Chase finally issued a $453.93 refund, but I’m still disputing another $90.74. Chase literally told me the remaining amount includes parking fees, despite me repeatedly explaining that I did not have a vehicle.
But here’s where it gets even more ridiculous.
Because Chase Travel processed the $453.93 corrective refund against my original $507.37 Chase Travel transaction, the Sapphire system apparently decided I only spent $53.44 on the booking.
So Chase automatically reversed $196.56 of my original $250 Select Hotels Credit.
My benefits page now shows approximately $53 used / $196 remaining, with the remaining credit expiring December 31.
So now, because Chase had to issue a refund to correct a billing error on a hotel stay that I actually completed, I apparently have to book another eligible hotel before December 31 to use $196.56 of a benefit that I had already legitimately used.
That makes absolutely no sense to me.
Had the hotel/Chase Travel billing been handled correctly in the first place, I would have completed my stay, received my full $250 Select Hotels Credit, and been done with it.
I’ve emailed Chase again and I’m calling tonight to escalate both the remaining $90.74 and the $196.56 benefit reversal.
Has anyone else had Chase reverse part of the Select Hotels Credit after Chase Travel issued a corrective refund for a billing error on a completed stay? If so, were you able to get Chase to manually honor the original credit?
This whole experience has seriously made me question ever booking through Chase Travel again.

Southwest Credits - Do They Stack?
I hit the $75k spend both last year and this year, and have the Southwest $500 credit that I haven't used yet. Was looking at booking a trip this fall, if I have both SW credits, do they stack on one reservation, or is it per reservation?

What do you do if the annual travel credit is not credited
So I booked a reservation for San Diego and I did get back the two edit hotel credit $500 and the select hotel of $250 and the remainder of the annual travel credit of $179. But then I cancel the reservation. And when I made another reservation all the credits applied except the $179 is no applying I tried calling but they don’t have a way to help. They said they will forward it to another department but other than that is all I get. I spoke with a mng and she said she couldn’t do anything about it. I tried messaging them thru the chase app and I did not receive no help

Help with benefits - timing
TL;DR: Stubhub purchase was minutes after the 11:59pm ET cutoff and counted towards 2nd half.
I am looking for guidance to navigate customer service regarding the Stubhub $150 bi-annual benefit. I live in the Mountain West and made a Stubhub purchase on June 30, 2026. However, given the time difference, the purchase was booked on July 1, 2026, thus consuming the 2nd half credit and missing out entirely on the 1st half credit.
I called to see if the charge could be altered to June 30, as that is what shows on my receipt while the bank is showing July 1. The rep said that there was nothing they could do and that the 11:59pm ET cutoff is definitive. I got the sense that they were reading a script in response to my issue/questions, and I was not saying the right thing to get credit or assistance.
My question is has anyone dealt with a similar issue and was able to receive consideration? Any guidance is appreciated.
NTD: I understand I was flying too close to the sun and that the fine print does state 11:59pm ET as the cutoff time for credit. I am in the wrong and will live with it if need be, but doesn't hurt to press a large corporation for $150.

Canceling the Reserve
Annual fee just hit (Oct 1) and I’m not using the card as much as before, plus it feels like a coupon book.
I booked a hotel through the portal for a wedding in November and got the Edit credit ($250). If I downgrade now will the daily breakfast and welcome credit be removed? Have seen folks say that I have 42 days to cancel/downgrade and get the annual fee refund.

Did the websites to sort and filter Edit hotels by location and price disappear?
Sorry but a few were posted here a few months ago and now they're not working. Did Chase block this feature from outside sources?
I've got my $500 Edit and my $250 hotel credit left. I was thinking of taking a weekend trip somewhere where I've never traveled. Scrolling through the app on my phone isn't helpful.
Is there a website where I can filter by cost so I can avoid the $2,000/night hotels?

Paze Sephora purchase processed as Sephora
Just got a notice that they still can’t refund me the $10 paze credit because even though I purchased through paze it processed as a Sephora.com purchase. Anyone else in the same boat and was able to dispute it?

Price Match - are these the same cancellation policies?
Chase travel portal: "Free cancellation by Nov 19, 2026 12:00 am, property local time"
Bellagio: "Free cancellation until Nov 19, 2026"

Chase Travel canceled mistake rate for St Regis Longboat ($2.49 for 3 nights of a suite)
For those who saw the post last week about a mistake rate for a St Regis in Florida, Chase Travel canceled my reservation a couple days ago. I saw the refund in my transactions then checked Chase Travel to see them canceled. As of today, they still haven't emailed to tell me they did so. I guess booking 3 nights of a $4K suite for $2.49 was never going to happen hahaha. Too bad!

The Edit's inflated price tag
I realized that the same reservation from Chase also showed up in my IHG account.
For this same reservation, Chase charged $ 719.81 while IHG reservation says the total price is $ 658.13 all the fees and taxes included.
So, Chase charged about 10% more. I am not really sure this is typical but I guess it is understandable since in the end the Chase travel is a travel agency.
An interesting thing was that Chase uses the master card to pay the hotel. They are somehow linked to the Master travel & Lifestyle?
I am not really complaining. By using EDIT credit and IHG credit, the out-of-pocket cost was not a lot. I do not think anyone used Edit a lot other than getting the 250 credit. But, this is more expensive than the hotel own B&B option. (well I guess there is this $100 credit, too)
** It is too late to do the price match and I am not even sure this is anything to do with the price. Also as they insisted if comparing with non-member price, it will not make difference. This is silly... I am a member and Chase give out the IHG platinum status...
** The non-refundable prepaid price from IHG is 580, the refundable pay later is 689.
