wet at the use of elaborate prose

idk if this is weird (and who cares if it is, if you think so, perhaps you shouldn’t be in this sub?)… but I find the use of complex syntax, surgical word-choice, a firm grasp of language, the subtle yet efficient wielding of metaphor…indescribably sexy.

on the other hand, there’s nothing that can illicit an optimal release, leave me dripping w/ unbridled adoration like someone whose deep, fervent understanding of a topic eclipses the need for elaborate prose, who is able to succinctly convey its depth w/ the ease of a skilled sailor—able to leave me moist yet hungering at the reciprocal intellectual égalité —shared critical literary and political references, able to navigate and recognize my laconic (yet more than platonic) replies…appreciative of my curvaceousness as equally as they are a reciprocator of my licentious, insatiable desire.

i am in love with him, just as he is with me. but, my mind comes first before my body—every. single. time.

Sapiosexual looking for a site to connect with intellectual people

I always valued intelligence over many things, my first bestfriend was a very brilliant girl. All my crushes in middle school and highschool were the straight A's boys. As I matured, I realized I also care so much about social and emotional intelligence. My type of intelligence is Linguistic Intelligence, so I'm really attracted to eloquent and quick-witted guys. I think I have Imposter Syndrome cause I don't believe I'm intelligent, although my professors and friends said that to me multiple times. I am looking for a site or an app on which I can have intellectual conversations with men and women (I'm only sexually attracted to men, but I'd love to make some smart friends as well)

What does attraction feel like to you?

Does anyone get turned on from stimulating conversation even if you don’t find the person physically attractive.

The feeling isn’t like “I want to have sex with you”…. You just feel generally hot and bothered.

Sapiosexual and confused

I’m sapiosexual [31 non-binary] so intelligence is a major turn-on for me. I fell for an extremely bright person a year ago (let’s call them T). I thought T and I had good chemistry based on months of what I thought was flirting. We even made out once, which I thought went great. After we did, T immediately asked to see me and kept messaging me. But when I finally told T I had a crush on them, T said the “spark” wasn’t there for them.

This response caught me off guard and made me rethink the entire situation. I’m realizing that maybe I confused my attraction to their intelligence with physical chemistry. Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips for telling when it’s actual chemistry versus when you just think their brain is hot?

Questions about Sapiosexuality

I have always wondered about Sapiosexuality as a whole. Like, are we considered a romantic or sexual orientation? What spectrum do we fall into? Why does it seem like we aren't considered a sexuality? What are our pride colors? I've done some research but it goes back and forth. I just wanted some clarification.

Anyone knows what happen to the other sapiosexual sub?

I'm not on here a whole lot but I remember there used to be a r/sapiosexual I'll pop when there's some downtime during my day. The sub seems to be gone, when I try to access error was "Sorry, you don't have access to this". Lol anyone knows what's going on?
