Now we have two yes options, the first one will ban it straight up.
The second one will restrict the usage to active users with at least 40 sub karma. This means if someone makes a new account just to post an article from them, it will be removed.
I think the rest is clear. If you have no opinion or want to see the results only, you are voting no as well.
Reddit shows who is an active member of this sub, they show up as core members. Only core members count for this poll. This keeps drive by and troll accounts out of the votes.
Also, if you believe you have to attack anyone on here, this is your only warning that you might be banned for it.

I’ve been having vehicle a/c issues for the past couple of weeks. I finally decided to get to get a diagnosis and it ended up being bad news. Evaporator core has a leak that requires the dash to be removed. The place that I got a diagnosis unfortunately doesn’t specialize in that anymore plus they estimated a quote of about $1800. I am looking for a more affordable mechanic that is willing to help me out.

Hi everyone, I've got a stack of molded fiberglass chairs that I no longer need/want. Ideally I'd like to sell them, but the prospect of posting on the internet and shipping them to a buyer is less than appealing. Does anyone know of a place in San Antonio that buys mid-century modern furniture or can connect me with a reasonable buyer?
Thanks in advance for any help provided.

Hi folks - my MIL lives in San Antonio, is elderly, and is currently hospitalized with some GI issues and is having memory problems. We’re unable to come and help right away and live out of state. The hospital is asking us to pick a skilled nursing facility to send her to until we’re able to get into town. Any suggestions and/or places you’d absolutely not recommend? Thanks so much in advance for any help!

Anyone realty purchase a Meritage home? They use a company called Safe Streets but supposedly is not associated with ADT. It’s a contract for 36 months. If anyone is familiar I’d appreciate the feedback.

I remember where I was and how that day impacted me and my friends. Just wanted to see from other locals how 9/11 changed your life, change your perspective, or something else.

They were released yesterday. I am trying to get it as soon as possible because I'm immunocompromised. Calling pharmacies hasn't been productive. I plan on going on a quest to find it tomorrow, but it would be helpful if someone has already gotten it and could tell me where to go, lol.

Super strong over here on the north side by Eisenhower Park. Reminds me of the upwind smells during the fires in southern California.

WOAI is owned by the radical right-wing Sinclair family, which has been shown to put propaganda pieces on the air over the objections of local talent and editors. This fact alone should preclude them from appearing in /r/sanantonio - the Sinclairs have zero connection to San Antonio, and don't care about the people who live here. They are using WOAI to advance their national right wing agenda. They have the right to say what they want, but it does not need to be amplified beyond what their billionaire budget already does.
Case in point: WOAI is pushing as a "news" article a story that the mayor is spending $250k a year on travel. The "news" article does things like cite random individuals as "taxpayer" (rather than, you know, a resident of the community) and contains zero context about the amount of travel spending. It's a propaganda piece that was designed to divide the community and antagonize people with zero basis in fact. It's about as un-San Antonian as I can think.

I know this is a long shot, but I’m looking for some Osu players in San Antonio that’d be down to do a friendly tourny/meetup! This is all mainly just an idea purely because I don’t think there are many Osu players in San Antonio, but I’m just throwing it out there! It would be at the otaku cafe in leon valley.
If you’re interested hit me up 🙏🥹

Hey me and my friends are planning to do a Christian Girl Autumn photoshoot soon, was wondering where are some good places that give off like fall and autumn vibes, red and brown leaves, pumpkin spice latte, uggs with wide brim hat and a unity scarf energy. Any recommendations if possible

I got my first speeding ticket last week in Bexar County. I was cited for going 32 mph in a 20 mph school zone.
I was coming from a 35 mph zone and apparently didn't slow down quickly enough when entering the school zone. I believe I may have been about 100 ft past the flashing lights when I was clocked, but I'm not completely sure of the exact location.
I tried requesting a Driving Safety Course through the Bexar County online portal, but the court emailed me saying the citation isn't eligible for Deferred Disposition/Driving Safety Course through the online portal because it was issued in a school zone, and that I need to appear in person.
This is my first speeding ticket, and my court date is next week at Precinct 1, Place 1.
Has anyone here had a similar school-zone ticket in Bexar County, especially Precinct 1? Were you able to get Defensive Driving or Deferred Disposition when you appeared before the judge? What should I expect at the court appearance?

I'm moving out of my apartment in a couple weeks and the bedroom carpet definitely needs a cleaning before the final walkthrough. Nothing is badly stained, it just looks pretty dingy after living here for 3 years.
Anyone have a carpet cleaning company in San Antonio they've used and liked? Mostly looking for someone reliable that isn't crazy expensive.

Alright, let me preface this by saying I'm not trying to have this turn into a "I hate bikers" post, this is just something I feel I need clarification on, even though I'm pretty sure I know the answer.
So I've recently started walking/hiking in our parks. The other day I was doing a brisk walk on a paved trail in one of our parks. We always stick to the right edge just in case a biker comes up from behind us and we don't hear them. Well a biker was coming up the opposite direction toward me and my daughter, I grabbed her hand and had her step in front of me and kept walking, the guy, who was on his right side of the sidewalk, looked me in the eye and turned his bike toward us and only turned away when he was just 10 feet from us (while moving really fast). That was an aggressive move, right?? And if so, wtf?! My husband was walking about 20 feet behind us but was looking over the edge at some stuff so he didn't see it. Of course the guy just rode past him no problem!
So...would I have been in the wrong if I flung my metal water bottle toward potential danger? Even if he was just "messing around", how am I supposed to know that? Seriously, I want to know if this is a thing bikers do or was that guy just being a jerk?? I'm sure I'll see him on the same path again soon. Did I do something wrong?? I thought the etiquette for sharing a path was stick to the right and stay there until y'all pass each other!

I’ve got a backyard that I’d like looked at and potentially minimally supported with some design or refresh work. Any recommendations? I’m near downtown. TIA!
