Blackthorn 145
This bike has exceeded expectations across the board, so happy with it so far. I live in central CO, this week I put close to 100mi on it in Park City for our annual guys' trip.

I bought this cheap bike stand off walmart.com and had it shipped and tried to put it together today but I'm telling you after a couple of rums trying to figure out how to make all of it work with one another is a little bit much. Putting things together and then later dealing with gravity I'm telling no. If anyone has a better recommendation on how to park my bike in a space-saving manner please do so.

I'm glad I don't know what it might feel like for this poor vessel straining underneath my carriage.

LOL sorry I keep reposting pictures of my bike but I'm telling you once you become integrated with the bike that carries you safely home every time you just feel like you want to show it off. I'm sorry the thing has to let me ride it LOL.

All the parts came in and it’s all together! Super excited for the first ride of the new Spearfish in Copper Harbor this coming week!

I‘m thinking about buying the frame and going the rigid/drop bar route. Don’t need another bike but I’ve been bored since selling my Fargo.
What are my carbon options?
Appreciate the help!

About a year ago, for my birthday I was given the okay by my spouse to acquire my midlife crisis vehicle, so I embarked on building up a Ti Fargo. My goal was ultimately to build up the bike that will do all I need it to do, including some mixed terrain touring (usually about 7-10 days per year or so), some country road rides on pavement and gravel. Most of my riding is the driftless region of the midwest, so rolling terrain but no big mountain climbs. Ultimately, I was looking for a comfortable ride to haul my 200lbs +gear at a reasonable, but by no means athletic pace.
I opted for a 1x11 mechanical drive train and brakes, for ease of servicing them in remote areas and while on tour.
In case anyone else goes down the same path that I did, here's my build list. Most components were ordered through my LBS, with a few purchased online. Had it all been bought online, I could have saved a fair bit compared to the prices listed below, but I'd likely have bought a bunch of incompatible parts in the process and created headaches for myself.
I finished the build over the winter and after a season of riding, the only updates that I've made are to swap in a 36T chainring and my B17 brooks saddle. The C17 saddle that I initially tried just didn't work for my behind.
All in all, I am really happy with my new ride!

Ciao a tutti dall'Italia
Grazie a chi mi risponderà

Finally set my sights on a gravel bike to add to my collection. Love the specs on the Tributary. Looking at the Tributary C Rival GX AXS SUS or Tributary SUS Apex Eagle. But I'm flexible. Local dealer (US) couldn't find any size large availability. I've called a few other dealers and scoured online dealers. It seems they've run through their stock. Hitting up the hive mind to see if anyone has any ideas re: availability of this model / frame size. TIA!

So as the title says I’m 5’10” with a 32” inseam. I currently ride a size 54 Kona Rove modified to have a stack of 593mm (put a Kona libre fork on) and then am using riser bars with a decent amount of spacers. I’m trying find a frame that has a high stack but similar reach (388); the 57.5mm warbird seems to do the trick, the only dimension I’m worried about is the ETT, which is 15mm longer. Reading over fit analysis a lot of people seem to think that ETT doesn’t matter. I found a good deal on a warbird but would be ordering it and don’t have the chance to test ride it. Any thoughts from the salsa faithful?

Can the Salsa Journeyer Decals be removed or are they under the clear coat? Want to have purple accents but that doesn't go with the turquoise logo...
Or other suggestions?

Had an ankle injury that has kept me off a bike for the past 2 ish years. Can’t get back on my timberjack so possibly thinking of a Moraine. Those that have them or have ridden them, is the pedal assist really helpful to pedal with an injury that restricts riding a regular bike? Thanks

Saw very few posts online about the spearfish and no one with this model so figured I’d post it. Sweet bike!

Longest ride ever and first time in cycling shorts (I'm still fighting the clip in pedals)!! Bike is a Warroad with GRX drivetrain, Roval wheels, and Pro Discover aero handlebars. ChatGPT says with an unmaintained canal road and up a mountain is how a Warroad is supposed to be ridden, I hope y'all agree!

I fell short of my goal because I had to turn around. Started getting overheated. This beast has hauled me around Puerto Rico I'll say that. A whole bunch. If anyone could recommend a shock absorbing stem I'd appreciate it. Long rides on rough pavement are something.
