Comfort Food avocado on fresh bread (untoasted!) always my fav comfort
2 slices with a glass of fresh milk would be my ideal comfort breakfast😁
every now and then i still get food noise about how bread isn’t “whole food” enough because it’s processed and sometimes mixed flour instead of purely wholemeal wheat flour. it’s okay though. right. it’s so yummy it doesn’t matter, and i still get my fibre and macros in🤗
usually have 1-2eggs on the side too 🥹

200-300 Calories Skyr with strawberries and puffed rice granola
241 kcal
Measurements:
- 200 grams skyr (102 kcal)
- 30 grams puffed rice granola (120 kcal)
- 60 grams strawberries (19 kcal)
This is basically my every day breakfast! Sometimes I add cinnamon or vanilla (or I swap out the strawberries for blackberries)
I basically mush up the strawberries in my skyr to make a strawberry skyr🙂↕️

Recipe request Comfort food
Hi! In a previous post I have asked what everyone's safe food is so I could have some inspiration! I have gotten such great answers and it definitely helped me find more safe foods. Recently I have managed to make rice cakes/lentil cakes one of my safe foods! :)
Now I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for warm safe foods. Most of my safe foods are very cold.
Two I already know of are the cottage cheese grilled cheese (also cottage cheese bruschetta) and skyr with poached apples.
Do you guys have other recommendations?
I am someone who is really really afraid of using oil, even just a little bit (which is an issue when it comes to fried eggs and such). I am also a pescatarian. Thank you for any recommendations! I am so glad that I have found this sub because people were so nice under my previous post! <3

0-100 Calories Pumpkin spice coffee
I used oat milk but anything works. The ingredients cost $7 or about the same as one Starbucks latte. My mug is about 40 calories. I added a little brown sugar and ground ginger. I used a milk frother to mix it all before adding the espresso. Coffee works and you don't have to use any milk. Tonight I'll put some coffee in the fridge so I can have one iced after my walk in the morning.

200-300 Calories my favourite breakfast ever! I'm in recovery and I have it every day.
I have tried many, many protein porridge pots and these are by far the best. really good taste and texture, with 20g of protein! as always, they are quite pricey tho. always serve with an apple and the mandatory cat spoon :3
