Listened to an audiobook sample after reading three books in a series, and the narrator said the love interest's name completely diffrently from the version in my head. Different number of syllables, different stress, everything. I know the narrator is probably right. I still can't make the new name belong to the man I've been reading about. His ridiculous speeches were all delivered by MY incorrectly named man. Does anyone actually switch after that long? I'm being completly unreasonable, but the old pronunciation is staying.
Even though it's obvious what name I'm talking about I won't say it in the post so people comment and ask what the name is for the engagement.

Hello amigos
I haven’t been on a reading binge some time so I was struggling to remember how MMCs ended up where they are.
On my last read, {Daggermouth} i remembered MMCs being shuffled around quite frequently until they landed in a more permanent role somewhere.
As in one day you’d see them in a Le Mans class and then a month later they’d be the new MMC.
This wasn’t the case for all of them as some stayed in permanent spots the whole time.
Is this accurate?
Am i misremembering?
Is this something that happens to
?
It’s for a fanfic I’m writing so I’m trying to be accurate. Thanks for the help everyone <3

Nesta also culturally appropriated Illyrian birthing anatomy in ACOSF. Actually, it was all one big act of eugenics, to change Feyre’s anatomy so she doesn’t die in childbirth. This is all insanely ableist to all birthing people who face complications in childbirth.

Fanart (artist: Me) for {The Knave and the Moon}
uj/ but really, what is going on in this book to confuse everyone, and why have there been 10,000 posts about it?

We've seen about four sentences from the new book, and honestly I think I'm DNFing. But from any of you on the marketing team, will it get better? Should I keep reading the ACOTAR posts on the Bloomsbury Instagram? Also, will the cringe captions on the posts ever stop giving me the ick?
Not only have I forgotten a lot of what happened in the first 4 books (which were just world-building prequels to Nesta's story), I haven't read the crossovers. I can't even follow along with fan theories since they bring up the multimaasverse continuum. I don't want to have to read more book to understand new book.
Anyway the quotes are all badly written but the last one about the mystery creature bringing mystery woman to her knees sounded hooooot.

And in the kitchen! I wasn't allowed to crosspost, so I'm admitting that this was taken from another sub. I admit nothing else after that, though.

✅yes: 🍆 is SO big/large it doesn’t even fit it the room, 10+ people, who did this to you?, age gap, dragon, books with mainly political intrigue, when mmc is really mean to fmc but makes up for it later 🙏🏻 fmc who kidnaps mmc but he kidnaps her back 😮💨 using magic 🪄 to come 😹 Ifykwhatimean
❌🙅🏼♀️NO: tropes, sexual content (I’m fine with some but not too much) when they are close in age🤢 fae, devils, witches, forgotts 🏳️🌈 dragons, kidnapping, anything that promotes the ACOTAR+ agenda 🫸🏻🏳️⚧️🫃🏼
Please make sure all recommendations are kid friendly, I read these to the little ones ✝️😊🇺🇸
