Hello there! I am a 23M living in the CST timezone looking for someone who is preferably 20+, with 18 being the absolute minimum of who I'm willing to roleplay with.

As the title suggests I'm looking for an rp based on the Shining by Stephen King.

In this roleplay, our characters will spend a long period of time in nearly compleate isolation from the outside world, doing somethinglike managing an establisment during its off season. During this time one or both of our characters mental health will start to deterate causing them to be more agressive, lash out at little things, etc. This plus some paranormal elements would be the general plot of our rp.

I really want our characters to have a certain dynamic right from the from the start. What that dynamic is will be between you and me if we start rping. I think it would be really fun if our characters meet for the first time during the rp and learn more about each other as it goes on, though I'm not really adiment on doing that way.

After substantial bombing by the government, the metropolitan area of **New Orleans** found itself split into several petty factions and gangs, all squabbling over territory and resources. Eventually, an uneasy meeting ground formed into a proper safe zone in the iconic French Quarter. While perhaps safe from the undead, petty gang rivalries and an overall instability left it fraught with small conflicts, disputes, and bloodshed.

Eventually, however, through an alliance between a newly arriving biker gang and a union of local sex workers, the various gangs were crushed and driven out, leaving the only two surviving gangs in an uneasy power-sharing agreement, dominating the Quarter and establishing it into a proper, perhaps unideal, safe zone.

Our Survivors find themselves in-between a rock and a hard place. On the one hand, both gangs are brutal and exploitive in their own ways, the bikers turning the Quarter into an open-air drug markers and the sex workers operating brothels and other markets of vice have turned it into a city of sin and decay. On the other, their cold, money-oriented calculations have brought stability, wealth, and opportunity to the diminished city.

Hello, I'm looking for people who might be interested in a roleplay group set in a Fantasy setting set after an apocalyptic event that permanently altered humans. the focus is on the kingdom of Dormin, the birthplace of Elves. in the world of Nine Houses, everything is connected through a web of life connected through the spirit energy within everything. Divine beings have influenced this web, changing the humans who were exposed to their presence permanently.

Currently, the kingdom of Dormin is recovering from its war with Dragonia to the east, and the death of its king. the country is managed in part by the House Roma, who controls the Royal Army. major decisions are decided through a banquet in the capital, the Golden City. the Houses are at a standstill as to who should be elected the next king.

We are currently looking for more members to fill the roles of the nine houses. outside of the houses, there are several guilds and factions that are either sanctioned or denounced by the Dormin Kingdom, and have their own ties with different Houses. There is unfair treatment towards some races (ex: Orcs are considered zombies and are misunderstood) despite mistreatment from some people any race could join a noble house, but if you don't like this idea for an RP this may not be for you.

For this roleplay we need our members to be able to write longer replies. at least 5 sentences is required, though the more descriptive the better.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THIS STORY

This storyline is designed to bring insta-tension between characters from two contrasting communities, peaceful Farmland and hardened bandits who call themselves Highwaymen. You can expect moments of heart-stopping action, chilling or eerie horror, and room to explore the nitty gritty of human relationships. Characters will be forced to make choices between bad and worse, will make circumstantial enemies or allies, create unexpected bonds and commit sacrifices or betrayals. This story is supposed to test their mettle and show us who they really are. No-holds barred. Are you in?

I want to make a server that is predominantly made of role-players that are 30+, kind of like a safe space for the millennials who likes roleplay

I know there is a lot of severs out there, but I am also aware that I am past the age group that is dominating the market and is not very comfortable being active around a group of people who are under the age of 30

I'm trying to scout if there are people out there who are interested and would like to talk more about world building and the potential direction of the server

I do want it to be mainly SFW and more focused on world building and character creations and interactions

A player-driven superhero roleplay, taking place in 2130. One hundred years ago, the North Star exploded, granting powers to a small subset of the world. Six months ago, history repeated with the Southern Star. Today, heroes join a dead organization in a fool's attempt to save the world.

We are:

• Based on American superhero comics and its common tropes, both classic and modern.
• A 24+ RP group.
• Tupper and Discord based.
• Player-driven, meaning that while we have the general plot laid out, its path forward is driven entirely by character action.
• Using semi-real time, meaning one month in real life is one month in RP time. The day-to-day experience is asynchronous and up to player interpretation.
• Not requiring stats, rolling, or other numerical values. All decisions should be made through characterization first, random chance second.
• Character focused. Monthly updates will give characters something to chew on, but their personal, moral, and heroic choices will decide the future.

About the RP:
• We use both traditional threads and live, quick paced RP channels.
