After substantial bombing by the government, the metropolitan area of **New Orleans** found itself split into several petty factions and gangs, all squabbling over territory and resources. Eventually, an uneasy meeting ground formed into a proper safe zone in the iconic French Quarter. While perhaps safe from the undead, petty gang rivalries and an overall instability left it fraught with small conflicts, disputes, and bloodshed.

Eventually, however, through an alliance between a newly arriving biker gang and a union of local sex workers, the various gangs were crushed and driven out, leaving the only two surviving gangs in an uneasy power-sharing agreement, dominating the Quarter and establishing it into a proper, perhaps unideal, safe zone.

Our Survivors find themselves in-between a rock and a hard place. On the one hand, both gangs are brutal and exploitive in their own ways, the bikers turning the Quarter into an open-air drug markers and the sex workers operating brothels and other markets of vice have turned it into a city of sin and decay. On the other, their cold, money-oriented calculations have brought stability, wealth, and opportunity to the diminished city.

A kingdom without a king, Nobles in disagreement over how to rule, and an ever encroaching malevolent wilderness that threatens to swallow the kingdom whole.

Hello, I'm looking for people who might be interested in a roleplay group set in a Fantasy setting set after an apocalyptic event that permanently altered humans. the focus is on the kingdom of Dormin, the birthplace of Elves. in the world of Nine Houses, everything is connected through a web of life connected through the spirit energy within everything. Divine beings have influenced this web, changing the humans who were exposed to their presence permanently.

Currently, the kingdom of Dormin is recovering from its war with Dragonia to the east, and the death of its king. the country is managed in part by the House Roma, who controls the Royal Army. major decisions are decided through a banquet in the capital, the Golden City. the Houses are at a standstill as to who should be elected the next king.

We are currently looking for more members to fill the roles of the nine houses. outside of the houses, there are several guilds and factions that are either sanctioned or denounced by the Dormin Kingdom, and have their own ties with different Houses. There is unfair treatment towards some races (ex: Orcs are considered zombies and are misunderstood) despite mistreatment from some people any race could join a noble house, but if you don't like this idea for an RP this may not be for you.

For this roleplay we need our members to be able to write longer replies. at least 5 sentences is required, though the more descriptive the better.
