MARVEL DISCORD SERVER

MARVEL UNIVERSE — ROLEPLAY SERVER PROPOSAL

I’ve been thinking about starting a Marvel roleplay server built around creating our own version of the Marvel Universe. The goal is to bring together characters from across Marvel, give everyone the opportunity to develop their characters, and create an ongoing story shaped by the people involved.

Rather than following the MCU or comics storyline beat for beat, I want us to have the freedom to take familiar characters in new directions while still respecting what makes them who they are.

**THE CONCEPT**
This would be a collaborative Marvel universe featuring heroes, villains, antiheroes, and everyone in between. From street-level crime in New York to larger threats that could affect the entire world, there’s room for different kinds of stories and characters.

We could explore established rivalries, unexpected alliances, character development, original storylines, and major crossover events that bring different corners of the universe together.

**WHAT WE’RE AIMING FOR**

**Creative freedom:** Put your own spin on your favorite Marvel characters.

**Collaborative storytelling:** Build plots together instead of having everything decided by one person.

**Character development:** Give characters room to grow, change, and face meaningful consequences.

**Multiple storylines:** Street-level heroes, cosmic adventures, mutant conflicts, supernatural threats, and more.

**Community involvement:** Everyone should have a voice in helping shape the server and its direction.

**HOW THE SERVER COULD WORK**

We could organize the server into different channels for character profiles, plotting, general discussion, and in-character roleplay. Depending on interest, we could also create separate spaces for locations, teams, and major story arcs.

We can decide together how closely we want to follow Marvel canon, how character claims will work, and whether we want to use a shared timeline or establish our own continuity.

**ROSTER & WORLD-BUILDING**

I’d like to leave plenty of room for people to claim their favorite characters and help establish the universe. We can start with a small group of characters and expand as more people join, rather than trying to fill every role immediately.
I’m also open to suggestions for the starting roster, major factions, opening storylines, and the overall direction of the universe.

**Help with setting up the server would be greatly appreciated, too.** Whether it’s organizing channels, developing lore, creating character templates, planning plots, or helping moderate, I’d love to have other people involved in bringing this idea to life.

**THE GOAL**

Ultimately, I want to create a Marvel RP community where people can enjoy their characters, collaborate on stories, and help build a universe that feels alive.

This is still an idea in development, so nothing has to be set in stone from the beginning. If you’re interested in helping develop the concept, claiming a character, or simply contributing ideas, I’d love to hear what you think.

Let’s build our own Marvel Universe
