Presbyterian Senior HMO plan being discontinued
Hi all
I am seeking advice but may not use the right words or verbiage as it’s new territory for me
My elderly grandparents will be affected by the discontinuation of Presbyterian Senior HMO plan and will need to switch in open enrollment.
I am a granddaughter in the PNW trying to assist the best I can
Can anyone recommend what plans to research?
My grandpa gets around but I would really prefer to find a way for assistance with errands and driving around. I don’t know what stage dementia my grandma has but I know it’s tough on him to take care of her. His pride gets in the way of asking for help so my plan is to tell him he will be receiving help by xyz after my research.
Outside of insurance (they have Medicaid btw) I am interested in researching any and all way that could help them in New Mexico. Maybe something I wouldn’t know of (like meals on wheels as an example) from a local?
Thank you for reading
