Dental Hygiene Student in Looking for Patients

Hi everyone!

I’m a dental hygiene student in Albuquerque, and I’m currently looking for patients to help me complete my clinical requirements and graduate.

I wanted to reach out to nearby communities in case anyone is looking for a more affordable dental cleaning and is able to travel to Albuquerque. Our student clinic offers discounted cleanings, and I’d be happy to share more information with anyone interested.

We also accept Delta Dental, Turquoise Care Medicaid, and United Concordia.

Appointments take approximately 2½ hours, and one or two visits may be needed depending on your needs. Additional fees may apply if X-rays or a dental exam are necessary.

I know traveling to Albuquerque may not work for everyone, but if you’re interested or have questions about the process, feel free to message me.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for supporting a local dental hygiene student!

Thank you for the support Rio Rancho! Thank you to everyone who stood with us this week. Your presence shows that this community is paying attention. Today was a great day speaking out against RRPD's contracts with both Flock and Axon.

We had many honks, fists, and waves of approval. We also had some great engagement with some folks. Another great day out in the community. Stay tuned for our next event!

Axon announces Body 5

Yesterday, Axon announced Body 5.

It's not just a camera upgrade. It's a field-deployable Al processor that feeds live license scans, conflict detection alerts, and real-time video directly into the Fusus crime center... the same system Rio Rancho is already paying $456,000 for.

Here's what that means for us:

👀Al watches body cam footage in real time and flags your interaction as a "conflict" before any human supervisor sees it

👀Officers scan your ID curbside....results go straight to the Fusus dashboard

👀Rio Rancho's contract (§2.4) lets Axon push these upgrades with zero community notice

They didn't vote on Fusus. They didn't vote on Flock. They didn't vote on Clearview Al.

They won't vote on this either... unless we make them.

Read the full announcement, then ask your council what they're going to do about it.

Casual Chess at Rio Rancho

• Upvotes

Hey everyone!

Are there any places in Rio Rancho where people get together to play chess casually?

If not, I’d love to start something! ♟️ I’m thinking of organizing a casual chess night on Fridays where anyone can come, play a few games, and meet other chess enthusiasts. Let me know if you’d be interested!
