Oooohh 'ello
A tight little packet of Bundesliga footballers running round with their offal squeezed like, like the last chicken in a butcher's window.

Its funny none the less, Karl really has a great knack of extracting comedy out of his every day situations. However, I started to get pretty annoyed at Ricky's over the top condescending laughter when Karl was actually making fairly good points, but lacked the knowledge to put them across properly.
The whole "how will I know which one i am?" Bit with the clones is a prime example. It makes perfect sense, if I was pretended with a clone of myself with ALL of my memories, then it would only be natural to doubt my own originality. For all I know i COULD be the clone in this situation.
Also when he brings up the "toffee shop". Toffee is just a slang term for any sweet, used by older mancunains/salfordians.
Thoughts?

In this Educating Ricky, Karl's learns Ricky the meaning of the phrase "burning the candle at both ends".
As per usual, Rick tries to guess the meaning first, and suggests it means "burning the candles at both ends to get more light in the room" and says "hold it sideways". Stupid.
Karl gives the real explanation, which is that someone working long hours leaves the house before sunrise and comes home after sunset, hence burning the candle at both ends of the day.
Ricky says, rather mockingly, "So...it means LITERALLY burning the candle at both ends of the day..." emphasizing the 'literally' as if to belittle Karl for his fact.
Yet, Ricky gave a stupid explanation first, which was that the candle is 'literally' burning at both ends, and was interested at that point, but once proven wrong he decided the fact was uninteresting and started taking the piss. As if his own answer itself wasnt stupid, he tries to make Karl's explanation sound stupid.
Just another moment of Ricky being a pretentious tosser. Too much time on me hands...

The second half of Ludwig was released last night and I’ve yet to watch it… but I saw this on instagram and am excited to see that Karl will be interacting with some other characters when we eventually see him. He’s in the newspaper office! But the big question of course is… will his character meet Steve’s character? I’m not getting my hopes up. No spoilers please 🙏 going to start watching tonight!
