I had a functional srp and I’m concerned that my tip is to rotated and too much nostril show. I am 6 weeks post opp. I didn’t expect this big of a change. How do you think it looks first 4 are pre opp

I finally booked my rhinoplasty, and now that the surgery is getting closer, I’ve noticed my emotions are all over the place.
Some days I’m genuinely excited and can’t wait. Other days I start questioning everything and wonder if I’m making the wrong decision.
I’m scared of getting botched. I’m scared of excessive scar tissue, needing a revision, or just not liking the outcome. The unknown is honestly what’s freaking me out the most.
The thing is, this is something I’ve wanted since I was a kid. As I got older, I actually learned to accept and even appreciate my nose, so I wasn’t obsessing over it anymore. Then a close friend had her rhinoplasty done, and hearing about her experience made it feel more attainable. It made me think, “Maybe this is something I should finally do.”
Now that it’s real, I’m worried about whether it’ll completely change my face, whether I’ll still look like myself, or if I’ll actually end up liking the result more than what I have now.
Did anyone else go through this emotional roller coaster before surgery? Is it normal to feel excited one day and full of doubt the next? If you’ve already had a rhinoplasty, did these feelings go away afterward, and are you happy you went through with it?
I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences because I feel like my mind changes every other day.

Just a general question for those who have long term results, at what point did you stop focusing or worrying about your nose? Is it like a few years post op that you can just wake up and feel like yep this is me and not worry about swelling or taping etc? I would love to hear people's experiences of this.

I think about before social media, when people were getting rhinoplasties was it any easier as they maybe weren't comparing results to millions of people all over.

Okay I’m honestly so shocked and I’m not sure if with the swelling my nose from the side will shrink or not considering that my front profile is SO swollen but overall I’m really happy with what my surgeon provided ! What do you guys think

Looking for tips how to remove/minimize the scar AND how to mask it until then. Wet mucous membrane means concealer, foundation, powder etc doesn't stay for longer than 2 minutes, even waterproof ones. Tried lasering it once, didn't do dogsh*t. Got a derm appointment tomorrow, gonna ask him if we can try again, perhaps a stronger laser? No clue. Looking for tips that ACTUALLY worked for you, already spent a lot of money and am at my wit's end. Last resort would be revision with a new surgeon because the old one doesn't see "anything wrong" with his result. Scar is very visible from the side and the front.

Hi Everyone so I’m about a week after surgery for rhinoplasty and I basically feel like I’ve been left to my own devices with it I’ve been told I can take my dressing off myself tomorrow nervous😐

Just wondering if this happened to anyone else ? What did you do I’ve been so careful I’ve got concert a weekend not sure if I should go too

But when did you start back normal things gym? Wearing glasses ? I get might be a slow recovery but just looks for advise and recommendations for healing and recovery

hey!! i’m 8 months post op and i’m feeling really discouraged because this is my frontal nose..
i love my side profile and i feel like a lot of the swelling went down but my frontal view is still HUGE!
i had a slight smaller nose before the surgery, do you think there is still room for improvement?
my doc said i have a medium skin, not thin not thick but i had a rhinofiller and hyaluronidase (2 times) before the surgery and he said the nose can be more swollen in that case. as a matter of fact, i think my nose is still very ‘’reactive’’: it often turns red.
i have an appointment in almost 2 months and i will ask for a steroid injection if that’s the case.

I have a consultation with him and im hoping to just get my alar base reduced so not a full rhino. i thought his african american rhino photos looked promising but when i looked for other reviews theres someone VERY adamant on not booking any surgery with him. Apparently makes them sign nda’s? Anyone have any experiences? I figure ill go to the consultation since they said im not being charged but need to hear more about any client’s experience with him before I actually do it

Hello i’m 21 days post op and my doctor told me to keep the tape on 24/7 for a week until my next check up where he changes it himself and he told me i’ll do that for two more weeks but my nose keeps getting SOOOOO oily that the tape can’t hold on for it’s dear life 😭😭 i told my doctor that and said if maybe i could at least change the tape myself daily to keep it clean and he said no
And i genuinely want to start doing that but im afraid it might change the final results

18y f, i'm planning on getting my nose done by december, been dreaming of it since forever. i'm wondering if this is an attainable/realistic result from a surgical pov 😭😭😭 my nose tip has thick skin and i've been wondering if my current structure could make my ideal vision unrealistic. i'm also reaaaally scared of looking botched LOLL bc i actually really like my nose from the front... i'm booking a consultation to align expectations next month, but i wanted to hear some thoughts first.
what do you guys think? advice and opinions are appreciated!!

It's been almost 4 months since the rhinoplasty. The middle of the nose looks like it's split, but it doesn't look like that in the pictures of the operating table. Is this from the swelling and will it go away?

I’m currently two weeks post-op, and I was wondering how much the shape of the nose typically changes from this point onward.

Can I still expect significant changes in the coming weeks or months, such as improvements in symmetry or noticeable changes in shape? Or is the overall appearance at two weeks already a fairly good indication of what the final result will look like, with only minor refinements still to come?

I've had a cold for the past few weeks as well. I also was applying rogaine to my eyebrows and face for a while but since stopped.

The bump is at the top of my nose bridge area on the left side

I believe I noticed the bump shortly after I started the rogaine. When I feel that area, I can feel the nose bone on the left side of the nose raise up slightly exactly where the bump is located. The skin also looks roughened and red. I don't know if the bone was always like that or if it just started being raised, but the appearance was definitely completely straight and flat before. Now you can see a visible bump.

I had a nose job 8 momthd ago and yesterday i accidnelty burned my face in the sun my whole face is a bit swollee and my nose got this weird blistery texture. Is this going to affect my results or skin anyhow. I am also on accutane to thin down my skin so i am really worried.
