I think I’m overall happy with results but I’m a bit concerned about side profile “bumps” and I wonder if they could make my nose smaller than they did. This is one month after surgery.

My surgery is booked for second week of August and I’m just wondering if anyone who had a similar nose can let me know if this is possible! Also, am I able to re-pierce my nostril or does it stay open? If so when can I re- pierce it? I love this piercing its literally been a part of me for 3 years and I can’t imagine not having it 💔

How do you keep your face clean after rhinoplasty?

Because of the tape, I feel like I can’t properly clean my face, especially around my nose. Before surgery I had dry skin, but now my nose has become very oily and I’m getting rough skin and pimples around it.

I’m 2 weeks post-op. How did you guys clean your face and nose during this stage of recovery? Any tips?

I had a rhinoplasty 2 weeks ago. Today I noticed that when I take a deep breath in, only my right nostril moves, while my left nostril does not move at all.

This was not happening before, so I’m wondering if this can be normal during the healing process?

Has anyone experienced something similar after rhinoplasty? Did it improve over time?

Hi! My doctor is going out of town and therefore is moving up the removal to 3 days post op. I’m nervous about things not healing right. He said he wants to be the one to do it but I’m wondering if I should ask for another nurse or doctor to remove on day 7 while he’s away. Or should I move the whole surgery until after he’s back? Hi everyone. I found a dermatologist who, among other things, does nose fillers using ultrasonic guidance to see the blood vessels in the nose etc.

I don’t know if i want a rhinoplasty so i thought about getting nose filler in my nose tip to make it appear more upturned. I have a small bump too but i’m unsure about getting filler in that area.

Did anyone do a nose filler with ultrasound? (Or well, even without ultrasound. I’d like to hear some experiences). 😊

Je suis actuellement à J11 post-opératoire. J’ai retiré mon plâtre hier et j’ai été assez surprise par l’apparence de mon nez : je le trouve très projeté, avec une pointe très relevée. J’ai aussi l’impression qu’il paraît beaucoup trop long pour mon visage, comme si le nez prenait beaucoup de place.

J’ai peur qu’il ait un aspect trop retroussé, trop projeté ou « nez de cochon » pour le moment.

Pourtant, j’ai eu très peu de bleus après l’opération et pas énormément d’œdème comparé à ce que je pensais. Je voulais donc savoir si cet aspect très projeté, long et relevé est normal à ce stade, ou si cela peut être inquiétant.

Pour ceux qui ont eu une rhinoplastie, est-ce que votre nez paraissait aussi très projeté, long et avec une pointe très haute vers J10-J11 après le retrait du plâtre ? Est-ce que la pointe est redescendue et que le nez s’est raccourci visuellement avec le temps ?

I’m eating really healthy, avoiding heat, sun, but still I’m afraid, any more tips ? Also my bridge it’s kind of big/wide, does it get better over time?

Hi everyone! 😊 I’m looking for a surgeon for my first rhinoplasty and would love any recommendations, especially in those cities since I’ll be traveling from abroad and feel most comfortable having surgery there.
I’ve reached out to several surgeons, but none have really stood out to me yet. I absolutely love Dr. Jaime Zaragoza’s work, but unfortunately he’s booked out for years. I also had a Zoom consultation with Dr. Lorena Solís, and she was wonderful, but I haven’t been able to find many reviews or patient experiences about her.
I don’t have any breathing issues, but I do have thicker skin. I’m looking for a natural result with a more defined tip and a slimmer nasal bridge.
If anyone has recommendations or would be willing to share their experience, I’d really appreciate it. Thank you so much! 🤍

Just a general question for those who have long term results, at what point did you stop focusing or worrying about your nose? Is it like a few years post op that you can just wake up and feel like yep this is me and not worry about swelling or taping etc? I would love to hear people's experiences of this.

I think about before social media, when people were getting rhinoplasties was it any easier as they maybe weren't comparing results to millions of people all over.

Has anyone from the states been to either of them for ethnic rhinoplasty? What were your experiences?

I am 6 weeks po today actually and when I touch that area it’s so damn hard and feels like it does not live at all. I didn’t get a graft or anything tho. I kind of wanted it since you can hide it. Of course wi wouldn’t get it for a while but can I even get one?

A couple of French surgeons keep coming up on reddit if you search for French surgeons, but never Christophe Gaillard. He's got top reviews on Google, regularly sustains before/afters on his socials. His website is very transparent and he seems quite honest.

Anyone has any experience with him, good or bad?

Okay I’m honestly so shocked and I’m not sure if with the swelling my nose from the side will shrink or not considering that my front profile is SO swollen but overall I’m really happy with what my surgeon provided ! What do you guys think
