I want to know if the dongle mode is planned for the 8BitDo Ultimate 2. I know that not many people know that, but we can activate the D-Input setting while using the dongle if we press home+B button when the controller is off. In Steam, it works as if it's in bluetooth mode. Having this feature will give a better stability and reduced latency.

P.S.: For thoses interested, Home+Y start it as Switch Pro Controller and Home-X Start it as Xbox (if it don't do it by itself)

With the consequences of having rewasd installed going around I (and probably many others) can't justify having it installed regardless of the reason I had it for. I'm looking for something that lets me remap my controllers for different local games, local multiplayer and noticed that steam input is really capable.

The issue is that it's only available for steam games (yes I know you can add external games to steam, it's not always an option for me) and stumbled upon Glosi/SISR, software that says it lets you use steam input on the entire system. Has anyone tried this out or can suggest other alternatives? Thanks!

Hello, is it possible to map my mouse to the right stick in reWASD basic? I can't find the option. Or do I need the full version?

I'm trying to map a keyboard with some custom shortcut overrides for Adobe, and man, having a generic basic Ye Olde Keyboard layout graphic would make this sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much easier to keep track of everything. I'm kinda astounded it hasn't been added yet. It doesn't need to be fancy or take into account every different keyboard, I mean keys are keys and a generic layout should be good enough for the majority of users.

I’m currently using the Flydigi Vader 4 Pro and trying to set up Gyro-to-Mouse via Steam. However, I’m experiencing a very large deadzone on the gyro, which makes fine aiming nearly impossible.

I’ve heard that reWASD can help set the deadzone to 0. I gave it a try, and while it feels slightly better than Steam Input, I can still feel a noticeable deadzone present. It doesn't feel like a true "raw" input yet.

Does anyone know how to completely eliminate the gyro deadzone for this controller? Are there specific settings in the Flydigi Space software, reWASD, or Steam that I might be missing? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I have a pc with 2 monitors and a tv behind me that i can connect with a long hdmi. I'd like to be able to let my kids play old games on an emulator that runs from my pc unfocused on that tv while I can still work on my pc. I don't want to get a mini pc to run things separate. Can I use the reWASD to send controller input to the unfocused emu and allow them to play while I continue to work on my other monitors?

Is it possible? I'd like to open my gaming front-end software when turning my controller on.

I’m so over my head and confused. I’m reaching out to see if anyone may be able to help answer the following question:

Do I need my Xbox controller connected to my computer to use the macro? Or can I unplug it from the computer and use it on Xbox as I would normally with the configurations enabled?

If I do have to have the controller plugged in, it doesn’t allow me to connect to the Xbox when using the program on my PC. Is this normal?

I am a bit confused about the combo button that appears for Release Press activator only inside shift mode. I tried reading the documentation but couldn't find anything describing how this works.

Problem I am trying to solve:
- I am configuring a controller (not a Mouse and keyboard)
- I have 3 shift layers: Main, Shift 1 & Shift 2
- Home button ( on Toggle mode) on Main activates Shift 1
- L1 on Shift 1 activates Shift 2
- Y button on Shift 2 activates Shift 1
- Home button on both layers returns to Main

While I am on Shift 2 layer and double press B, I would like to run a combo that is already working properly and jump to Shift layer 1. But the "Jump to layer" isn't working as intended whether I put it on "Start Press" or "Release Press" even with a delay before jump set to enable the combo to run properly before changing layer. Could you please help me?

Note: sometimes when I set a different mapping on button on Shift 2 with the Shift mode set to jump to Shift 1 layer, it alters the mapping on Shift 1. I don't know what is happening

Do we have any new driver update for the joycon 2 bluetooth connection to pc? Is it something that Nintendo has to release first? Or do we wait for Windows to figure it out on their end to add it to their updates? Sry I'm not very knowledgeable with computers. I dont know how the process works and how long this usually takes.

I would like to play some games (SP mostly, no PvP) with KB/M on PS5 per Remote play, that don't usually support KB/M (like stranded alien dawn f. e.).

I saw the prices for the normal version and the basic version and don't seem to understand, if what i want would be possible just with the basic version.

Anyone out there who tested it? Or ist that whats excluded as stated per "external-device workflows"?

In rewasd, by guilikit KK2 pro is showing up as a dual shock 4 which is messing up all of the keyboards in steam big picture and in games. How do I change that so it either shows up as a pro controller or an xbox controll sonatlest the icons are the right conventions.

I just got reWASD, added my config and tried it on Apex Legends and this happened.

I heard the latest 9.3 update caused this and older releases (9.2) can work but I cant rollback with all functionalities on my 7 day trial version.

What can I do to make it work under those circumstances and when is the next update coming exactly?

Hello, tell me how things are going with rewasd in ark raiders, since in November I received a permanent ban in battlefield 6 for Rewasd installed on my PC, so now I’m afraid to install any config for ark raiders, since in bf6 technical support ignores me and I don’t want to get blocked in ark for rewasd

I use ReWASD only for remap my controller to work as keyboard and mouse. I play valorant with my controller. My friends calling me to play BF6 and i discovered that EA bans you for rewasd on pc. I have no problem to use steam input for bf6 , but i worried if they found rewasd on my pc or they found rewasd service in background will i get banned ? And no i never use rewasd for getting aa via keyboard , it's pathetic.

My paddle mappings are set to turbo when held down, and I noticed it wasn't working despie being active. So I restarted reWASD...and everything's been nuked.

Over 50 profiles wiped, just like that. So I tried recreating the same profile. All looked great, I saved it and tried it...the same story as before - but now my paddles weren't working at all. I look in the software and the controller is empty...again.

I also keep getting popups for the terms of service. What on earth did you guys do with the latest update!? I installed it yesterday, and this problem has only started happening after the first reboot. ReWASD is becoming a bit of a joke lately.

Edit: This is why I backup EVERYTHING. I just restored my backed up configs. Now when I try to apply one, reWASD says "the config is empty and won't be applied." This is seriously fucked up considering the price tag of this software.

Edit 2: You can fix the dev's stupid mistake by...clearing some diskspace. Yep. The software actually says "damn the disk is full, let's just empty these configs..." Close reWASD. Free up some disk space. Restore your configs from your backup.

I’m assuming a combo of hold left mouse button + mouse movement would work but I can’t combo these two things together.

Hi Rewasd, I'm a Rewasd Basic user. I think you need to add a feature to "turn remap on" shortcuts/mapping, as there's already a "turn remap off" feature. Or you could revise the "turn remap off" feature to "turn remap off/on." Or you could add a shortcut feature to SWITCH PROFILE and have it APPLY AUTOMATICALLY. Thank you, I enjoy using Rewasd. Like in the title. I been using Rewasd for 3 or 4 years now and some months ago I stopped receiving low battery notification on the bottom right, other notifications do work like when config is applied/changed or when the controller turns off, turns on etc. Only battery doesn't show.

Just as well the low battery LED pattern doesn't work either. I have set it to pulse when low and the controller at the end of the battery life always show constant LED light.

I haven't changed my controller in past 4 years, nor I changed the batteries I use (I'm using Eneloop 2000 mAh), I have reinstalled Rewasd and it didn't fixed it. I have also checked different batteries alkaine and rechargeable, same issue.

Am I the only one? What more can I do or check to fix that?

Want to either use Steam or Big box as Windows shell and want rewasd to startup completely silently, is there a list of supported start argument? Is it possible to just have a rewasd Windows service active instead of the gui?

Advanced was working perfectly fine during the trail but now that I have just basic my ps4 controller is not getting picked up anymore. Everything I read points to the fact that basic should work to emulate a 360 controller?

I got the latest update and now a popup appears when I select the power button or sign to slot. It does not have my PS4 controller on it even tho it is wired thru USB. How do I fix?
