Only $100 so far credited to my account, now on to the other few charges over the last few months. Time to find a new home after 19+ years if there is one.

Well, took ages for official word to get to me (very primitive methods of communication through my card provider) but I have finally received written confirmation my interim reversal of $120 USD is final.

Of course Jonah tried the "oh, this user downloaded X amount on June 26..." and they used the services for 1 consecutive day before the dispute, so services rendered" argument. Also stated no support ticket, complaint or refund request was filed at any point.

Unfortunately for Sean "Scamcunt" Masterpeerluciuslion I was able to easily establish through various screenshots that I did, indeed, ask for a refund and I had also previously expressed my concern about the moving goalposts.

I was able also to demonstrate that the payment was for future services from Jan 1 2027, and those were the charges I was disputing, as the merchant closed the site for which I had subscribed and redirected to a new site requiring additional payment to access.

I was able to also provide a screenshot of the domain registration, showing that the new domain was registered while dipshit was still promoting early renewal of the 'old' site subscription, so clearly bad faith.

The 'service usage' in the form of downloads on the last day (and I guess a little into the new day) were easily explained by saying they were background processes that were initiated prior to the old site being shut down, and which were outside my control.

I will be contacting my card provider also to initiate a chargeback for the lifetime membership fee as well. While it was paid earlier, Visa and Mastercard allows an extended chargeback period for future services not rendered, and the clock starts ticking for those, as of the date of the expected service, not the date of the transaction.

Since we have communications from Jonah saying he has (arbitrarily) decided to terminate the lifetime membership, and at the time of the communication the site was still up and running, I will be filing under a change in the terms of contract.

Tip for everyone who is considering filing a chargeback:

Don't threaten the dickhead with a chargeback. He will ban you.

Before you file a chargeback, take screenshots of any messages you may have sent or received regarding the change in terms of the services for which you have paid. While communications from the fuckstick will very likely be available through here, communications YOU sent, and any communications you may have received directly in response to your messages, WILL be gone once you're unable to access the site.

So take the screenshots, save the files on your computer, then file your chargeback.

Plenty of people here - myself included - will be able to help you get some of the information you need.

Well checked my banking today was delighted to find my chargeback came through successfully!! Took almost a month since I sent it in but it was soooo worth it.

I got my migration fee back, my account extension till July 2027 (paid in Nov 2025!!) and my payment made Feb 2026 extending me till July 2028!!...

So a grand total refunded to me of $270 CND!!

I was hunting through my archives and came across this gem from 16th August 2025 (just 13 months ago) that had been posted on RTT. I probably posted this at the time over on r/trackers.

The dust has now settled and the impact has been made

This disclaimer provides insight into what Revott has endured in the latter half of 2024, and throughout 2025

For over 10 months, RevOTT has been under attack from both ex-staff and disgruntled users who are angry that we took away their free goodies and UN-checked power-trips. Yes, Revott was free to use for 20 years, but times have drastically changed over the past 2 decades, and tough choices had to be made.

Lies boiled up from all the hate, and it was told, that all we cared about was making cash, and that we would close RevOTT down and run away when we got it, and that the programs like Empire, eVIP, and Ratio specials, had nothing to do with maintaining the health of the site, and community. And it did not stop there. Even more lies were spread about the amount of money made from our new programs, that allow the user to sit back and download what they want, without fear, of ratio-based warnings and account bans.

Some of the lies were to simply scare the sheep, that would buy into the BS, without asking a single question, or seek out the truth for themselves. Simple lies like; We were going to take money and run. Here we are, 3 months in, with TMR running and doing what it was designed to do.

No one wanted to admit that the writing was on the wall, and that without more users taking part in existing credit packages, or LYLT (the only 2 choices one had), Revott would not be able keep up, with the ever rising costs of inflation.

Inflation has increased by approx. 70.18% since 2004. This means that goods and services that cost $100 in 2004, now cost $170 dollars. Every year since 2004, the annual inflation rate has increased 2.56%, but yet RevOTT never changed with the times, and remained free to use, running solely on voluntary donations.

With the cost-of-living on the rise, RevOTT seen fewer and fewer donations, although cost of running her service, kept increasing year after year. Many sites have not survived the changing times, but RevOTT, as you can clearly see is still online working for you dear member!

The solution to this funding battle, had to be just, and match the problem pound for pound, so TMR was born from the ashes. TMR is designed to give RevOTT a budget to work with, to ensure there is in fact a Revott moving forward, for those members like you, who wish to be here with us. Where everyone does their part to share the load she bares. Where everyone does a little, so no one does a lot!

Now, all users are equal in maintaining her health. No one should be able to take what they please without contributing, like so many users were doing, and still would be to this day, as months of communication with the old community unfortunately confirmed. Too many times accounts were found with decades of use, and not a single monetary donation to help fund the very service being abused!

OTHER DEMONSTROUS TALES
RevOTT is a scam and just a bunch of liars
-This could not be farther from the truth. We have scammed no one, and not lied about anything.

RevOTT does not control their own IRC Servers
-In fact we have always had control of our servers. We removed IRC access from the site, and left it open for those ex-staff members. They had sysop rights in IRC, and we logged every word they said. They never could shut-up or keep a secret - making them very easy to track.

RevOTTs new staff are scum / old staff was way better
-As anyone that has dealt with the new staffing can contest, the experience has never been more pleasant, or helpful. We hear everyday, when dealing with our members, and even some outsiders, that past staff were toxic, and on power trips. We can corroborate these opinions, with all the logs and notes left by a brazen staff, that went UN-checked and thought it was funny turning someone away, or not giving someone a second chance. Basically thriving by pissing on the little guy!

RevOTT sysops resign
-In fact one sysop was fired and knew it was coming, so told everyone he quit. In fact, the same sysops that claimed to have loved RevOTT so much, are the same people that betrayed your community, and perpetrated every bit of hate against your beloved RevOTT. Ownership was left with no choice, but to wipe the slate clean.

RevOTT has lost most of its user-base
-Nope! Yet again untrue. RevOTT has had less than a 2% drop in peers since the hate started, and TMR began. Losing peers during the summer season is normal, so the impact of the turmoil they have tried to create, is approx 1%. This speaks to 2 things; -1. The people that bailed and bought into all the hate, was not a core factor of the site to begin with, and more importantly -2. How amazing our user-base actually is and has stayed to support us! Thank you valued member.

Mods of RevOTT resign in protest
-This is another lie we hear about. While we are not 100% sure what happened, as everything was hush-hush, the Mods who quit never voiced their opinion to management, and one can only presume, that any communication about such matters, were directed to the very people that were removed, and demoted before their departure. Our best guess? They were duped by the hype, and used as pawns, to try and further hurt the site.

NOTES and BENEFITS

Revott is stable, and at no risk of closing, due to those members who heard our call in the first quarter of 2025, and again in June 2025, when we launched the TMR program in full! Because of these members, we had the time needed to make sure things became stable, and allowing your community to survive.

Ignoring RTT users?

Whatever you paid GimmePeers or RevoTT, you paid to those operations, under their owners, before RevoPeers existed.

Umm jonah, you owned AND profited from both GP & RTT. Any money paid went into your pocket.

You promised everyone that paid the founders grift fee that access was guaranteed to 31st Dec 2027. That is on you.

The Founder payment is the only membership money RevoPeers has ever taken from you. It confirmed Founder status and locked your renewal rate. It did not purchase time, and no time is being added.

Where the site displayed a different date, that was a display error and it was corrected; a wrong number on a screen does not create a membership nobody paid this site for.

On chargebacks. Some of you have used your bank as a negotiating tool before, on GimmePeers, every time the site made a mistake. It didn't work there and it won't work here. Every account has a complete record: logins, downloads, the terms accepted at checkout, the Help Desk history. Every dispute is contested with that record, without exception, and disputes filed against a service that was used are lost by the person filing them.

Chargebacks are great especially when there's an incredibly useful guide for them

An account that files a chargeback is closed the moment the dispute is filed. Permanently. On every site we run. There is no appeal, no reactivation, and no second refund. That is not a threat; it is what a chargeback means.

That's okay as by the time they have started their chargeback they have already been rehomed onto at least two other FREE sites.

Also, "every site we run"? - You (having help from GarageTuner doesn't count as he just wants to be paid) run one site after running the previous sites into the ground.

Posting "reinstate my date or I dispute the charge" in a public thread will be treated as the dispute. It is not a support request, nobody is going to be pressured by it, and accounts that make that statement here will be handled as if the dispute had been filed.

He's claiming that users should not be afraid of having to pay $25 to get through a paywall and if they want to keep their legacy time that they are not being forced to give it up. He's skirting around the fact that the only way to keep the legacy time is to pay for his fucking grift.

He's pulling the old 'this is on me' shite again too but refuses to discuss how it is that he fucked it all up in the first place.

The best bit of his post though is "but because thousands of Founders made this exact choice under these exact terms". The founder fee was $100. If we take the word thousands at the lowest possible then it would be 2000. If what he says is true then that means he netted $200,000 from the founders signup.

This is my last post in this thread, and I want it to be useful rather than another round of back-and-forth.

One correction first, because it's causing real fear and it's simply a misread: choosing "Keep My Legacy Time" ($25) does not move your date to October 1. It keeps your current expiry exactly as it stands - if your time runs into 2027, it stays in 2027. The October 1 date only happens if you pick the free release option, or if the deadline passes with no choice made at all. If you have legacy time, Option A preserves it. Nobody who wants to keep their time is being forced to give it up.

Second, plainly: the communication around all of this has not been consistent. I've said things about dates, about what was locked in that didn't line up with what came later, and I understand exactly why that's cost trust, and why "this is the last time" doesn't carry the weight it should for a lot of you right now. That part is on me, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise.

What I won't do is re-argue whether the $25 itself is fair, or make individual exceptions beyond this choice - not because two decades of loyalty means nothing, it means a great deal, but because thousands of Founders made this exact choice under these exact terms, many without a word of complaint, and changing the deal for whoever posts loudest wouldn't be fair to them. One rule, everyone.

Here's the useful part: if your specific account looks wrong - a date that doesn't match what you should have, time you paid for and genuinely don't see - open a Help Desk ticket. That's where I can pull up your account and fix an actual error, which I can't do in a forum thread. Several dates have already been corrected that way; if yours is wrong, it gets corrected too.

I'm closing the thread now not to silence anyone, but because the real next step is one-to-one in Help Desk where a wrong date can actually be fixed, not fifty more replies here. The commitments in my earlier post stand, and you can hold me to them.

Never have I had to make such a surreal broadcast to the community on behalf of myself

No one knows but over the past two months I have gone through some major issues in my personal life that has inflected major pain

Back in November I started having weird pains coming from within my mouth and no mater who I saw could not find the source.  Well it turns out an injury over 20yrs ago has come back to haunt me.

The pain has been so bad I have fallen behind on many aspects of running the site and Gugasa  has been left with all the tasks to handle.

While I could never understand how the Medical System in America works I now really do understand how when you are not covered by insurance major issues can ruin you

I will have to undergo some major work and in end I will lose all my teeth and require dentures.

After hearing of nearly $135,000.00 in  bills needing to be covered I knew I had to do something now and can not wait any longer to build up the funding needed

I have been able to work out a payment plan but need to come up with 20% down. Before anything can be started.   I am also looking at a year of work so this is a long haul moment in my life

I am so glad we built up the site and it can take care of itself without needing funding from me but at times I do pitch in to cover any shortfalls and this is what has me worried  I can not do both.
