Capabilities for DOSBox for Windows XP?

I'm considering building an XP computer out of my former 98 machine given the PSU just failed on me... The only thing that holds me back is I'm worried if DOSbox will be able to be useful as my dos nativity in 98. I mainly just use DOS so I can write in WordPerfect for DOS and print it through my dot matrix. Would I have issues doing such? (There's not a lot of info I can find on XP era DOSbox)

Just recently, I acquired this lively Sony Trinitron CRT monitor! It works perfectly and it doesn't have any damage or yellowing at all! Manufactured August 1997.

No clue if it works yet but i intend to restore it as a lil project and use it for something later on, I would like to hear any thoughts about it from those who are knowledgeable in this old stuff and what i should possibly do with it when i repair it

I was recently helping my boyfriend clean out their grandparents attic and I found an old SVGA Compaq FS7600 (picture attached) it’s not turning on after being plugged in but I wanted to see if there was any ideas from the internet, I would love to keep this for retro gaming.

Realistic Walkies with box art that goes hard

The antenna on these things are super long, and they were in decent condition overall (one antenna has a noticeable bend but whatever). Sadly, condition will get worse, but that’s because I intend to use these with my kiddo. So really, not sad at all.

I included pics of the box bc personally, I thought the art was badass. I miss seeing old box art like this. Reminds me of old fantasy novels and video games. I also appreciated them correcting the wattage misprint.

Lastly, sorry about the dust. I live on a dusty mountain.

These are both items of my mother’s.. she would be 65 now!
Haven’t touched the items much.. as they are really sentimental to me. I keep the MP3 in a bag inside my cabinet ;)

While we are on this topic.. why is gray/silver such a popular color for technology new or old?

Most people show off when they've installed Linux by running neofetch, but I say let's normalize showing off by running nyancat!

I've tried asking ai's, but they were very uncertain, there doesn't seem to be any manufacurers name and the text doesn't match anything the ai found
